Today on the Burn Black podcast we have Ria Deters who is a queer artist living in New York City. They specialize in the embroidery of erotic art & are the art & publications director at The Peter Blum Gallery in NYC. They were also the very first person to ever buy Burn Black Zine and have been a *HUGE* supporter from day one. Ria’s energy is erratic, intelligent, deeply sexual and all the things that remind me of my dear friend. I love them so much. And you will too. In this episode we discuss DragCon, my memories of going to modeling school as a 12 year old grunge kid, the AIDS epidemic, how Ria dressed up as Jenna Jameson for Halloween as a child and her love of erotic art! We also discuss masterbating with the remote control, painting with blood, & Bob Mizer going to jail for DICK PICS!
