Are you ready to let your clients inspire you? It takes humility, vulnerability, and the willingness to make change.
Here is the question we must ask ourselves - are your fears of selling holding you back from what you have earned the right to ask for?" STOP being victimized by your fears and get IN the game!
What choices are you making every day on HOW you choose to connect? If you are taking the easy road and defaulting to a virtual meeting, you risk everything you have worked to build.
Stop Saying "Virtual Selling is Here to Stay." It Never Left. What is different is how it can be misused and lead to complacency. "Virtual selling is here to stay." Thanks for that newsflash. Here is the bigger news; it never left. Virtual selling is not one thing - it's a wide array of ways to engage people. If you are using the ( gasp) phone, texting, email, or anything OTHER than a face-to-face call, you are selling virtually, and yes, we have been ZOOMing for years. Here is the real question: How many will default to a virtual sales call over the face-to-face call? How many will get lazy or complacent and opt not to go the extra mile and meet with people? How many will say, "I can squeeze in a sales call before my workout?" How many will be lulled into a false sense of security that opting for a virtual meeting is better or gives them an advantage? It might help you meet the numbers, but it will not accelerate relationships.
This Toddcast is a MUST hear! Join me and my guest Dr. Yoram Soloman, Ph.D. Yoram is one of the world's leading authorities on the topic of trust and what it means to sales and our ability to maintain long-term relationships.

Every conversation is a “coaching moment.” There is a difference between the act of coaching “up” someone's performance and behavior and telling someone to do something in order to achieve the desired result. Coaching is not always a planned experience; in fact, the best coaching often happens in a serendipitous manner. Welcome to the first of an eight-part ToddCohen Sales Culture Toddcast

Every conversation is a selling moment. This has been my signature message and a cornerstone of my keynote and workshops on sales culture. At times, it is met with some skepticism, a smirk, eye roll, or a raised eyebrow. Here is a real-life example of how this fact changed and saved my life.

Everyone's in sales. Every conversation we have with every person we meet every day is a selling opportunity. Skeptical? Read on. “Everyone's in sales”- and we are always selling because selling is as natural as breathing and like breathing, we are doing it all the time. Why is this important? Why have I made it my mission to talk about sales culture and how everyone's in sales? It's important because when we sell – purposefully and consistently – we get what we need, want, and deserve. This is not just a slogan. It's true. Here's how it works.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks in a day. Neither can you take a sales force which has been doing things one way for years and have them change with a one-time training event. It is a cultural shift. It takes time. It requires leadership. It won't happen overnight, but if you do it correctly, the results will be long-lasting.
