The girls oohed, aahed and learned a lot at Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat with special guest and animal behaviorist, Alex. What a wonderful outdoor exhibit at the Mirage. Listen as the girls imitate the dolphins and talk about dolphin moustaches.
The girls go to the season finale performance of the Nevada Chamber Symphony's 2008-2009 season. For 24 years the Nevada Chamber Symphony has performed a mix of short classical and pop favorites. This is a free series at the Clark County Library Theater that will return in October 2009.

The girls laughed their @sses off a the LA Comedy Club upstairs in the lounge at Trader Vic's at the Planet Hollywood Casino. They saw Diaz Mackie, D'Lai and Ian Bagg with host Brant Tobler. They're still laughing.

You haven't seen Christmas in the desert until you have visited the holiday cactus garden at Ethel M's chocolate factory in Henderson. The girls were enthralled by the 3-acre cactus garden lit up with half a million Christmas lights. It was spectacular. The girls ended the night with a nice drive through the Sunset Park Gift of Lights holiday light festival. Now we've got the holiday spirit!
This week the girls review another book about Las Vegas called Winner Takes All, Steve Wynn, Kirk Kerkorian, Gary Loveman, And The Race To Own Las Vegas by Christina Binkley a Wall Street Journal writer who has covered Las Vegas for ten years.
The girls went to see the sparkle, glitz and glam of a Las Vegas legend at the Liberace Museum. From 200 lb. rhinestone encrusted costumes to rings the size of matchbox cars, there was definitely enough sparkle to go around.
This week the girls were delighted by the 5th Annual Las Vegas Latino Short Film Festival sponsored by the Hispanic Museum of Nevada. The short films were impressive (and subtitled) and the event very enjoyable. The films were La Primera Vez, Tercero B, Sin Plomo, Eramos Pocos, Bloom, De Pura Cepa, Proverbio Chino.
Listen to this show and you will find out why you MUST go to the paella cooking class at Cafe Baba Reeba. It was absolutely incredible and worth every penny. A true delight. You will leave full, inspired and with a deep appreciation for Spanish cuisine.
