Google Drive is having a potentially massive issue right now that we have to talk about. There are articles from several major publications talking about this and the situation is still being investigated. Many users are complaining that their Google Drives have reverted back to May and are showing no activity since then. There was a long Google Drive forum support thread that has since been locked and removed and a new document with just the support comment. Everyone's after attendee engagement at events, and Encore Global may have just cracked the code with its "Break Free" immersive environment debuted at IMEX America 2022. Ben Erwin, president and CEO of the global event planning, creative, production and technology juggernaut, talked with Meetings Today's Tyler Davidson about its mysterious and magnificent "multi-room" environment shrouded by towering black draping in the back of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. But it was much more than the proverbial big show reveal at IMEX America, as Erwin said the concept can be customized for any industry or event, and that meeting planners may see their clout greatly increased as they work to create connections within organizations in a dynamic new workplace environment that has been rocked by remote work and retention and staffing challenges.

Double or Nothing is considered All Elite Wrestling's (AEW) marquee event, having first been held in 2019, which was the promotion's first pay-per-view (PPV) produced. It is held annually around Memorial Day and is one of AEW's "Big Four" PPVs, which includes All Out, Full Gear, and Revolution, their four biggest shows produced quarterly.[1] The 2022 event will be the fourth event in the Double or Nothing chronology. After the previous two years' events had to be held at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 event will return Double or Nothing to Las Vegas, which is where the inaugural event was held.[2] On February 23, 2022, it was confirmed that the event will take place on May 29, but unlike the inaugural event, which was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the 2022 event will be held at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. As part of Double or Nothing week, AEW will broadcast both Dynamite and Rampage live on May 25 and May 27, respectively, at the nearby Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay.[3] There will also be a fan fest on Saturday, May 28, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.[4] Tickets for Double or Nothing went on sale on March 4, 2022, in which first day sales drew over $1 million at the gate, marking the first time AEW crossed $1 million at the gate.[5] In addition to PPV, AEW partnered with Joe Hand Promotions to air Double or Nothing in select movie theaters across the United States.[6] Learn more about your ad choices. How a Major Resort Owner Manages Its Power. MGM Resorts International took a bold step in 2016 when it ended its energy-buying relationship with NV Energy and instead chose to purchase electricity from private providers. The company's decision was driven by a desire to slash bills and boost renewables. Henry Shields, executive director of finance and analysis in the Corporate Sustainability division of MGM Resorts International, was a guest on The POWER Podcast. Shields will be a keynote presenter at the ELECTRIC POWER Conference and Exhibition, which will be held at The Mirage Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 23–26, 2019. On the podcast, Shields explained how the changes played out in practice. “Nevada's not a deregulated state in the purest sense,” Shields said. “However, there's been a law in Nevada on a very limited path for certain sophisticated commercial customers to do what we did.” “What we did was separate from the utility in terms of the actual procurement of electricity so that we were able to source our power from the wider market. We do remain actively—and will so in the future—very much a customer of NV Energy, but now for local lines and wires, and transmission service only,” Shields said. Concerning renewable energy, MGM Resorts International has really embraced solar power. Even before it broke away from NV Energy, MGM installed more than 26,000 photovoltaic (PV) panels on its Mandalay Bay Convention Center—about 28 acres of rooftop area. Furthermore, in April 2018, the company announced it was partnering with Chicago-based Invenergy, North America's largest independent renewable energy company, to construct a solar project about 25 miles north of Las Vegas. At full production, the 100-MW solar array is expected to provide up to 90% of the total daytime power needs for MGM Resorts' 13 Las Vegas Strip locations. Shields said the project would go a long way toward meeting the company's published goal of reducing its carbon intensity by 50% by 2030.

The animal rights organization is calling the singer out for the thigh-high snakeskin boots she was seen wearing in London last week. PETA reps recall Rihanna's tearful discussion about her relationship with Chris Brown in saying that the snakes are brutally killed for fashion but they "can't go on Oprah to cry about it." Drought Causes Shortage of "Cow Pies" Add one more problem caused by drought this summer, a shortage of cow pies. To the east of Minnesota, organizers have changed their line-up for the annual Wisconsin Cow-Chip Throwing Contest in Prairie du Sac. The quality of this year's crop, as it were, is questionable. So about 200 cow pies that were being held in reserve are being used to supplement the few that are okay to throw. More this week
