Stories from the highlands.
Is there anything like too much attention when it comes to a man you're dating or hanging out with?? And is there too little? Lol. Emotional needs are easy to overlook in our relationships and they also look different for everyone. There's couples that give me the ick when I look at how intertwined their lives are
The world consistently overlooks self love and self care as incredible powerful tools of healing. At the expense of pouring into our own cups before we seek to fill other's, we look for validation and purpose in our relationships, our work, what we own, and even our external image on social media platforms. The real magic happens when we consistently remember to look inside and pour love into ourselves. Self-care is life-changing
Girlieeeeeessss!!!!!! On this one, I hope you get inspired to ditch your emotionally unavailable boyfriend and date wholesome kings
Hey lovelies!! This week, I interviewed Sandra Motho for the Janet Kihara Podcast. Sandra was such a fun guest! Super witty and full of banter. I really enjoyed myself and from the recording, you can tell she had fun as well. Throughout the conversation, we were able to go from having fun to dropping nuggets of wisdom, and the overall vibe was super nice and positive. The interview is published in two segments, part one and part two. In this second part of the interview, we explore the fun part that comes after all the hard work and sacrifice. Sandra talks about traveling to Germany and the culture in that country. She also mentions other fun travel experiences she has had. We answered questions from the audience about content creation, doing food reviews, and networking with other influencers plus working with them. More gems were dropped here guys! :). May this episode show you that all your dreams are possible. Follow Sandra @sandra_motho on Instagram. Love, Xx.

Have you ever sat with yourself after a break up and wondered how the hell you ended up dating that person in the first place?????
Hi my loves! This episode is more goal-oriented because I talk about my ambitions for 2022 and how I think I performed throughout the year. Whenever we make vision boards at the start of the year, we imagine all our dreams coming true exactly how we picture it...but life doesn't unfold like that, does it? Hahaha. You get to hear all about how vision boards work and the best time in the year to start creating yours. Yes, I still believe in vision boards hahaha. I also talk about how life events like sickness, break ups, and losing your job or poor mental health can affect your goals and put you off-track. I also celebrate some great achievements I had in 2022, especially on the personal front. Listen in!! Xx.
I have missed you guys sooooo much omg! I decided to do this episode as a follow up to the last one I did...Sort of like a "Here's What You Missed..." So if you listed to the previous one, you know I was thrust into the streets and I was at a loss as to how I would navigate the whole process...it was not easy lol! But I got the hang of it pretty fast and I learnt a few things along the way...from self love to confidence and the kinds of dates I enjoy, this episode is the narration of a super fun time in my life and how it changed me. Tune in! Xx.
I am walking down memory lane and thinking about all the fun things I experienced while I was in a relationship. Truth be told, they are what I loved about enjoying life with someone else ☺. I'd do it all over again! I could write more here but honestly, the episode summarises it perfectly
Leadership is a rollercoster. So so many highs and extreme lows plus infinite memories and lots of fun in between. Marvin and I had so much fun recording this, mostly because we were reminiscing on so many memories, and it was also cathartic and reflective for both of us
The University of Nairobi Parklands Campus in association with UNESCO marked the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence in November and December of 2021.
