I had an experience that will last me a lifetime. Being a bi-racial half black, and half white person gives me two sides to two stories. Dating has it too. So many things could be fixed if we just changed our perspective and looked at both sides of the story. Everyone is so quick to be biased about something but can't objectify to most situations. In all reality people are going to have their own opinions about something at the end of the day. So do what you do best and do you. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jasminesays/support

If you're going to love someone you have to love all of them. It's not fair to them if you don't. Just because you can't see mental illness doesn't mean it's not real. Don't punish us for the fact that you're not able to understand us. Not all women are Bipolar but those of us who are want you to see us for the way we are and not try to change anything about us. Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game! Take a chance and let them crash through your walls instead of pushing them away. Love is scary but it's worth the risk. Standards are there to tell us whether or not we're good enough for that person, not good enough in general. Ladies and gents why is that we need blogs to tell us things that are considered common courtesy. Come on ya'll! Let's start giving people reasons why we're not interested, taking 10 seconds to reply to that text, and actually take the time to get to know each other for once. Isn't that the point of dating? To fall in love with someone we want to know everything about? What happened to not begging for attention and actually picking us up for dates and not considering a hangout session as one. I miss crossing paths with people in my life who are genuinely interested in getting to know me. It's not always a bad thing letting people get to know who you are. Not everyone is going to like us, but we get to choose who has the power to hurt us. No one can hurt you without your permission unless they stabbed you or whatever. LOL!
