“Send Coach John a message”Found this huge connection to some things that I've been thinking about lately - the people in my life that have made a huge impact on me. It comes from The Mindfulness Meditation Institute (@TrainingMindful) and it reminds us to “be the things you loved most about the people who are gone.” I am thinking about so many people and I'm trying to take what not only they meant to me, but the lessons they taught me and live my life with them in mind. I just shared this image with a friend who tragically lost a family member. It sure does help take what's wonderful from people and keep it going in “life”.  Thanks for listening.  Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on Apple Podcasts and ITunes or other services where you find this show.  Find me on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/coachtoexpectsuccess/   on Twitter / “X”:  @coachtosuccess   and on Instagram at:  @coachjohndaly  - My YouTube Channel is at: Coach John Daly.   Email me at: CoachJohnDalyPodcast@gmail.com     You can also head on over to https://www.coachtoexpectsuccess.com/ and get in touch with me there on my homepage along with checking out my Top Book list too.  Other things there on my site are being worked on too.  Please let me know that you are reaching out to me from my podcast.  ** I would appreciate anyone to try clicking on the top of the show notes where it says "Send us a text" to leave a few thoughts / comments / questions.  It's a new feature that I'd like to see how it works. **

She explores the ideological divisions surrounding law enforcement, the consequences of obstructing federal operations, and the importance of personal responsibility. Kelsi argues that the political left's narrative has contributed to a culture of disrespect towards law enforcement, leading to tragic outcomes. She emphasizes the need for accountability and understanding of the realities of law enforcement actions.Chapters00:00 Introduction and Context01:34 The Incident in Minneapolis04:46 Ideological Divisions and Consequences10:52 Reality vs. Ideology16:20 Personal Responsibility and Accountability - - - - - - - - - - - -One Time Donation! - Paypal - https://paypal.me/brassandunityBuy me a coffee! - https://buymeacoffee.com/kelsisherenLet's connect!Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/@thekelsisherenperspectiveInstagram -  https://www.instagram.com/thekelsisherenperspective?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw%3D%3DX: https://x.com/KelsiBurnsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/kelsie_sheren/Substack:  https://substack.com/@kelsisherenTikTok -   https://x.com/KelsiBurnsListen on Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/1O3yiobOjThKHtqyjviy1a?si=6c78bdc2325a43aeSUPPORT OUR SPONSORS - - - - - - - - - - - -MasterPeace - 10% off with code KELSI - MasterPeace.Health/KelsiKetone IQ- 30% off with code KELSI - https://ketone.com/KELSIGood Livin - 20% off with code KELSI - https://www.itsgoodlivin.com/?ref=KELSIBrass & Unity - 20% off with code UNITY  - http://brassandunity.com- - - - - - - - - - - - -CHARITYHeroic Hearts Project - https://www.heroicheartsproject.orgDefenders of Freedom - https://www.defendersoffreedom.usBoot Campaign - https://bootcampaign.org

Beyond UX Design
The Hidden Cost of Being the Dependable Designer With Vivianne Castillo

Beyond UX Design

Design was supposed to be creative work. For a lot of designers, it's turned into endurance. In this episode, I'm joined by Vivianne Castillo to unpack how corporate design culture quietly rewards burnout, why endurance gets mistaken for professionalism, and how designers can start reclaiming creativity, agency, and choice. What if the behaviors that made you successful in design are the same ones slowly disconnecting you from yourself?Design culture loves to celebrate resilience, but too often what's really being rewarded is endurance: tolerating vague feedback, late pivots, constant urgency, and emotional labor without complaint. In this conversation, Vivianne Castillo shares why so many designers feel drained, disconnected, and quietly shrinking inside roles that were supposed to be creative and human-centered.Vivianne draws on her background in trauma counseling, psychology, and design to explain how corporate UX environments often reward unhealed coping patterns—people-pleasing, hyper-vigilance, over-responsibility, and self-silencing—while calling it “professionalism.” The work still gets done, praise still comes, but the cost is creativity, curiosity, and a sense of agency. We also talk about what it actually looks like to take that agency back. Not through dramatic exits or rage-quitting, but through small, intentional experiments: setting boundaries, asking better questions, redefining security, and exploring entrepreneurial paths without burning everything down. If your design job feels more like survival than creation, this episode is for you.Topics:• 04:57 – Vivian's Journey• 07:16 – The Toxicity in UX Culture• 19:14 – Reclaiming Agency as Designers• 29:20 – Unhealed Patterns in the Workplace• 31:13 – Understanding Corporate Culture and Personal Responsibility• 32:01 – Self-Silencing and Professionalism• 32:30 – Endurance vs. Resilience• 33:04 – Updating Unhealed Behaviors• 35:34 – Navigating Toxic Workplaces• 37:14 – The Illusion of Job Security• 43:09 – Entrepreneurship as a Healing Experience• 43:37 – The Walkout Event for UX ProfessionalsHelpful Links:• Connect with Vivianne on LinkedIn• Join the Walkout—Thanks for listening! “Send Coach John a message”I found so many things that I wanted to (and could have) share with you today. It could easily be 10 podcasts. This one connected with me first and it came from Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) and he shared this preview of what the post was all about:  “A message for today … Don't be afraid to embrace life, chase your dreams and live fully. Show up every day with passion and courage, and let nothing hold you back. Life is rare and beautiful—go all in with it!” His post moved me so much and I shared these thoughts on his post as I shared it with others: “I could do so much better with this for my life… I've had my moments of not being afraid, but not like I know I could have. Good news for me, I can show up today - right in this moment I have - with passion, courage, love, etc., and do my best with the task at hand.”  I shared a lot about this in today's episode and it honestly connects with a lot of the thoughts, feelings, ideas swirling around in my head from other items I have connected with this morning - but I hope (as I always do) this gets you thinking and then acting in a direction that helps you with the things going on in your life. Whatever it is, keep it up! **

“Send Coach John a message”I just came across a post from Kobe Bryant Stories & Motivation (@kobehighlight)  where there is a clip of Kobe sharing a thought that made a connection to a really good 2026 mentality: “Always keep going. The storm eventually ends.” - Kobe Bryant.  That whole idea of persistence is one that seems to keep popping up to remind me as to how important it is to have - it seems now more than ever in so many ways.  I'm working on this as I found this post. Trying to focus (my One Word for 2026) on doing little things better, all throughout my day. I want to focus on many of the areas that I know I need to put more effort in my life. The key is to zero in on one at a time. Reading, fitness, learning new skills, educating myself in different areas, relationships, my health, my attitude & responses to things, etc. Kobe is right - the “storm” does eventually pass and then there is usually a new one coming on the horizon. Just. Keep. Going. **

“Send Coach John a message”I remember this guy from when I was much younger.  In fact around 10 when I remember hearing about Clint Hurdle (@ClintHurdle13) since he was drafted 9th overall by the Kansas City Royals in the mid 1970's. He has been around baseball for a long time and now he's sharing stories and lessons from the great game that can help all of us, whether we even like baseball, let alone play it. He shared this gem: “We're not finished products. Continue to grow. Look for growth opportunities every day.”  I love this quick and simple thought, that we as humans (especially this human), seem to have trouble understanding the validity of this thought. He has inspired me by his humility and love for helping others. Coach Hurdle has mentioned recently that he really looked to change and grow a couple of years ago, so he started out on his journey of writing a book. I got his book as a Christmas gift from my parents and I'm starting to read it. Which for me is also writing in the book, taking notes, underlining, sharing items from it, etc. A BIG suggestion I have for you is to go out and get your own copy that you can write in if you want to. “Send Coach John a message”I found something I wanted to share and it comes from Motivational Quotes (@motivational) and it's something that adds to my strength and optimism here in the new year.  “Remaining positive doesn't mean you have to be happy all the time.  It means that even on tough days, you hold onto the belief that better days are on the horizon.” This is something that has been a part of my mindset for a long time. However, I needed reminding of this fact as there are plenty of times I forget the second part as I wallow away in dealing with negativity at times. It helps remind me that I am the one that has a major say in creating better days in my life!! Again, with all the “noise” going on around all of us - this helps to add to my strength of realizing that I'm more in control of my life than the “noise makers” think they are. **

“Send Coach John a message”Well, it's the last day of 2025 and this little post that I found from Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) reminds us about our journey in life. He shares his thoughts: “A message for today … As 2025 comes to a close, take a moment to breathe. You made it through lessons you didn't always notice & strength you didn't always feel. If you're tired, you tried. If you're unsure, you're still becoming. The year ends—but your journey continues.”  The post he shares is from the Quotes Cafe that he shares something from every day. This one is: “As 2025 ends, take a quiet moment to breath. This year held struggles, lessons, and growth you didn't always notice - but you survived it all.  If you're tired, you tried. If you're unsure, you're still becoming.  Let go of what hurt, carry what taught you, and step into 2026 with a calmer heart and quiet hope. Most producers say they want to dominate 2026, yet many are still waiting for permission. Waiting for the “right time” to invest in themselves. Waiting to see if someone else will sign off on it. That mindset quietly keeps people stuck—and it's far more common than most want to admit. In this episode, I sit down with my client and friend, Andy Neary, for an honest, no-fluff conversation about what actually holds high performers back. We talk about why driven professionals often struggle with self-worth, why chasing a “guaranteed ROI” can sabotage momentum, and how confidence isn't something you wait to feel—it's something you build by consistently showing up for yourself. This is a real conversation about responsibility, ownership, and what it takes to stop playing small as the new year approaches.About The Guest: Andy Neary is a speaker, author, podcast host, and coach dedicated to helping professionals build the mindset, habits, and strategies needed to excel in business and life. A former professional baseball player in the Milwaukee Brewers organization, Andy leveraged discipline, unshakeable drive, and consistent daily habits to succeed at the highest level — despite being undersized for his position. Andy Neary - Speaker, Author, ConsultantToday, he applies those same lessons off the field through Complete Game Consulting, a coaching and training company he founded in 2019, where he advises insurance professionals and agencies on mindset, marketing, branding, and performance. “Send Coach John a message”Sitting here with my co-producer on my lap (our dog), I'm thinking about it being the end of another year and what is coming in the next year. So many thoughts going through my mind, but everyone's mind.  For me this is tying into my “one word” for 2026. It's not the only word I will focus in on, but it will be one that will be connected to me more. It's really two words, but I'll call it one. “Focus” is the one word - and the second one that is connected to it - “Intentional”.  This one word idea comes from Jon Gordon (@jongordon11) and his book “One Word” (@GetOneWord) and Getoneword.com  This has to be a day by day choice. Moment by moment, and I know I need to put the work in on this more than simply talking about it. The first connection to this episode comes from Essential Mastery (@EssentialMastry) where this thought was shared and got my attention: “The most valuable asset you own isn't money. It's the ability to think clearly in a world designed to confuse you. Mental clarity is wealth.” This is spot on for me as I've struggled with it throughout my life. A second connection to this episode comes from Dear Self (@Dearme2_) where this very simple post got my attention - “2026 will be different. No more repeated cycles. It's time to grow.” Again, my “focus” should be on the moment to moment, day to day, growth that I need to connect with; not just the entire new year.  There is actually a third connection that I reposted just before this one from “Dear Self”. It comes from Your Best Version (@YourPrimePath) where this is shared: “Stick to the plan. Not your mood.” Way too often I let my mood dictate my thoughts and actions in particular moments. Even as I write this out and prepare to record, I'm catching my mind wanting to take me in other directions. It's awesome to be able to catch those moments and change the direction of my thoughts. Well, all I can say is it's great to connect with this as I look ahead to the new year. The year that I'll be turning 60. **

“Send Coach John a message”Well, the final piece is here. “Be flexible.” Changing our habits is not easy, it's hard work. But having a little flexibility sure can help us make the changes that will work for us. Love this quote from the poet John Dryden - “We first make our habits, and then our habits make us.” If we are a bit more flexible, we can help ourselves find out what works for us. It's part of the journey of finding out how to connect a bit better with our new habits. I must admit for myself that anytime I can be a bit more flexible in life, things go a bit better compared to if I'm not flexible. It's good advice for many things in life. **

Send us a textThis one is something that I've been picking up more on as I get older (because I need it) “Focus on adding good habits, not breaking bad habits.”  When we focus on the positive things we want to do or create, instead of what we want to get rid of - it becomes a lot easier to keep the good ones going. Plus, we will see that the bad habits are simply going to be less and less of an impact on our lives. I need to connect with this one for sure. It's on my to-do list. Send us a textThis one I know will help me as I know I need to “Focus on one habit at a time.” I usually focus on many things at once and really none of them get accomplished. If they do, it takes a long time and probably it's not done as well as if I focused on just that. It's the same principle of focusing on small, simple things - uncomplicating it from becoming too large or too many. We can build many new habits if we focus on one at a time. Love this quote from the book on this one - “It's easy to keep adding one new habit at a time, but it's almost impossible to focus on many new habits at once.” That is something for me to zero in on me for sure. **

Send us a textAs I record this one - “Post a reminder of your commitment to your new, healthy habit”, I know I need to go do this. I need to have little written notes set for myself. I have one in my daily devotional book, which I read every day. I love what Sam Crowley says - “writing is the doing part of thinking.” I sure do think a lot. It's time for me to “do” more with my thinking. It's always about taking action and these little postings - remember, they are in my own writing - they are to myself! Nobody else sees them. It's me to me. Simple for all of us to do - but only if we actually do it does it become simple. Send us a textFound another series to share for you. When I ran across this from the book: “Coach Wooden's Greatest Secret: The Power of a Lot of Little Things Done Well”, by Pat Williams with Jim Denney. It's all about building healthy habits.  Find a link for the book HERE. (you can find it in many different places)  It starts off by reminding us that the best way to replace a bad habit is to replace it with a good habit.  These  eight parts remind us that it's tough to try and simply get rid of a bad habit by willpower alone.  What I'm sharing with you starting today is all about principles to keep in mind as we replace unhealthy habits with good habits.  The first is to focus on little things.  Instead of making huge changes in our lives, find small manageable tasks to focus on that lead us to the changes we want. I have always looked ahead a bit too much to the ending that I want. Then it becomes difficult, challenging and frustrating because my focus is not on the first step I need to take, but what's at the finish line. The more I read these, the more fired up I got. I hope this happens to you as well during the next few episodes.

Super powerful and inspiring post I found from Motivational Quotes (@motivational) “Never trust your fears; they don't know your strength.”  WOW… did I need to connect with this. My fears have had more of a driver's seat in my life than I care to admit and in driving “my bus”, when picking up my strengths at the different bus stops - many times they force my strengths to sit in the back of the bus or they never even stopped to pick them up!!  It's time for me to stop my bus (my life's journey) - not totally kick my fears off the bus because they are who I am in many ways. Maybe just have them sit in a seat behind me - buckled in… keep a few seats around them open for now so they don't influence “anyone else”. Life's journey is never dull when you take a look at yourself in the mirror and find the MANY things to keep working on to improve. So many things get better when we try to improve and be the best we can be!

I found a post from one of my favorite character actors from my childhood - Anson Williams, who played Potsie from the awesome show “Happy Days”. This post centered around the tragedy of Rob Reiner and his wife being killed over this past weekend.  It also brings to mind the sad and troubling examples of violence & evil with two high profile shootings this past weekend as well. It brings a reminder (sadly every day it seems we are being reminded) that the world needs to do better. What I mean by that is the people of the world need to do better. Anson's quote he shares coming from Rob is this:  “True greatness isn't just what you create — it's how you lift everyone around you while doing it.”  I know that if we examine a little deeper about what we are doing here with our time on earth, what our calling, purpose, burn, etc., is; along with how what we are doing affects other people. Is it helping them or hurting them? Is it encouraging or discouraging? Is it lifting others up, or constantly putting them down? Is it making this world a better place or making it worse along with our legacy?  We can do better. We must do better. I'm first in line looking to do better AND knowing I have to. I have plenty of room to improve in so many ways. I came across this post that really got me thinking about overthinking. From Words of Wise | Mindset Coach (@Wordofwise_) comes (at least to me) a new way of “overthinking” things. It was shared:  “If you're going to overthink, at least overthink all the ways it could work out in your favor, the best case scenario, and every version of your life that turns out better than expected.” This is something I need to look at and also start doing in my life. Looking at things with a bit more optimism. Interesting thoughts. It would be cool to hear your thoughts about this one. I found an awesome post from Jon Gordon (@JonGordon11) and it's a powerful and much needed reminder that all of us have the ability to be a leader in life. Find his site HERE.  In case you have not noticed, the world needs us more than ever! He reminds us: “You are a leader!”  You may not have a title. You may not have people report to you. Maybe you never thought of yourself as a leader. But I'm here to tell you that if you live a life of integrity… If you show others what discipline, consistency and devotion look like… If you encourage someone today… If people know you believe in them… If you lend someone a helping hand… If you lift someone up with your words… If you coach a friend through a challenging situation… If you solve a client's problem… If you guide a customer in the right direction… If you hold your friends accountable… If you get a child to eat their vegetables… If you love, serve and care…If you impact the life of another human being… You are a leader!  Lead well! Lead Positive!”  Such a powerful post with powerful examples for all of us.  I shared this post with this thought:  “Amazing truth here … many so-called / self-described  “leaders” are out there needing to take lessons from real leaders, real people… integrity / character shine so brightly for those that “… love, serve and care…”! We need more of this!”  It astounds me that we have so many people with titles that think they are leaders, yet they simply make things worse for others and certainly don't look to serve others. Once again, that's why we all have the ability to make a difference in this world.  The funeral service I went to this past weekend… a 19 year old girl… was a difference maker on so many levels!

Like a reminder note that we use to write on our hand so we wouldn't forget something important. We all have setbacks. We always will. It's part of being human. I look back at reminders of those that are no longer with us and what they taught us.  If we can keep looking for the lessons in our setbacks, we can always be moving forward in our lives.

It was emotional, reflective, powerful and to me, it directly connected to a post today from Mark Hickie (@MPHickie). The post reminded us that “small steps do matter”. Mark reminds us to “Live our truth boldly, stand in your honesty, and remember - your happiness begins the moment you stop shrinking who you are to fit who others want you to be.” All of us need the reminder that we can be who we are. But in order for that to happen, we need to continue to work on ourselves to be our best, to chase after what we've been called to do and to keep being difference-makers for others as well. Powerful thoughts rolling around here for me and I hope it helps you to connect to some for yourself too.

I found a post that I've used before in my classes while teaching along with my players while coaching. This post came from The Winning Difference (@thewinningdiff1) and in the audio I share here in this episode, you can hear the passion, the love, the gratitude from Coach Jim Valvano.   “The gift my father gave me every day of my life was he believed in me. My father believed in me, he believed in me when I failed. When I didn't measure up to my standard or someone else's standard he'd look me in the eye and he'd say you're going to make it,” Jim Valvano.  There are so many instances of the importance of having belief in our lives.  Head Football Coach and one of my teachers, Tom Mach from my high school, Detroit Catholic Central would always have this saying from when he started teaching at coaching at CC in 1976 and he still shares it when he speaks to students, players, coaches & educators today! It's his phrase that is just one of many things he's best known for: "the magic is in believing," a mantra that has inspired countless students to embrace the power of their belief in God, your family, your team, your loved ones, along with others.  Finally in one of my favorite shows that I've ever watched, “Ted Lasso” starring Jason Sudeikis, has a main part of the series with his sign “Believe” that he hangs in their locker room and all the team / life connections that come with it. Do yourself a favor and find how to watch this show!!  One thing for sure, is from all of this I need to do a much better job in believing in others along with believing in myself even more. The world sure could use more of this of us believing & encouraging others.

Jeff Wald, author of The End of Jobs and CEO of WorkMarket, examines how robots and AI are creating the fourth industrial revolution—a massive power shift from workers to companies that mirrors past technological upheavals. Drawing from labor history, on-demand platforms, and regulatory battles like California Prop 22, Wald reveals why the lifetime employment contract was always a myth with average job tenure at 5 years in 1960 and 4.2 years today. He introduces the hard tech vs. hard human framework: thriving in automation requires either technical skills like software, AI, and data or human skills that machines cannot replicate such as creativity, empathy, and sales. Wald unpacks how income inequality, personal responsibility, and opportunity gaps threaten societal stability, why unions must reinvent themselves through movements like Fight for 15, and how lifelong learning became non-negotiable when skills now decay within 4-6 years instead of lasting a 30-year career. I came across a short but powerful (and truthful) post from Reads with Ravi (@readswithravi) that reminds us all about something so meaningful.  “If everything around seems dark, look again, you may be the light.” - Rumi.  What an amazing and encouraging statement to always take with us wherever we go! I was watching a new show, Boston Blue and in the recent episode, one of the main characters brought up this fact that he needed to simply keep showing up to listen to and be there for others. I stumbled across a great post to share from Words of Wise | Mindset Coach (@Wordofwise_) and even though it's coming out later than I wanted to today, it still reminded me of some things that I needed to connect with.  “To be successful at anything, you don't have to be special. You simply have to be what most people are not. Consistent, determined, and willing to work for it.” The key that jumped out to me was that we don't need anyone's permission for us to do the things we need to do. We get to choose if we are consistent. We are the ones that can say how determined we will be with the things we choose to do. We for sure don't need permission to have the willingness to work on things we find a connection too.  For me, there are so many distractions out there that affect me as to how I use my time throughout the day. No more!! President DJT How Andrew Jackson Freed America From Central Bank Control… And Why It Matters Now It's hard to believe the United States government was ever debt-free. But it happened once—in 1835—thanks to President Andrew Jackson. He was the first and only president   When he became president, Jackson was determined to rid the US of its national debt. After all, debt enslaves you to your creditors. Jackson knew that being debt-free was essential to independence. This outlook resonated with many Americans back then. With that in mind, Jackson attacked the institutions and powerful people who promoted and enabled the federal debt. This included the banking elites and the Second Bank of the United States, the country's central bank at the time and precursor to today's insidious Federal Reserve system. Jackson couldn't squeeze the American people with a federal income tax to repay the debt. It didn't exist at the time and would have been unconstitutional. He also couldn't simply print currency to pay off the debt. Perpetuating such an insane fraud—which the Fed does on a massive scale today—likely never entered his mind. Instead, Jackson had to rely on tax revenue from other sources, mainly import tariffs and excise taxes, to pay down the debt. He also drastically cut federal spending and frequently vetoed spending bills. Jackson's determination worked. By January 1835, the US was debt-free for the first time. Unfortunately, it didn't last much more than a year. After that, the US would never again be debt-free—not even close. Revenge of the Central Bankers After Jackson succeeded in ending the Second Bank of the United States, anything associated with a central bank became deeply unpopular with the American public. So, central bank advocates tried a new branding strategy.     Source: zerohedge.com Political/Rights https://twitter.com/DHSgov/status/1991603017242603943?s=20  spouse -Domestic battery by strangulation -Coerce with threat of force -Driving on suspended license -Multiple DUIs -Possession of a controlled substance. Regarding Marco Rubio’s involvement as Secretary of State, initial reports indicated he distanced himself from the plan during a phone call with a bipartisan group of U.S. senators (including Mike Rounds and Angus King), describing it as a “Russian wish list” rather than an official U.S. position, and clarifying it was merely a document passed along from Moscow.  However, Rubio and the State Department later publicly reversed this stance, insisting the plan was “authored” by the U.S. with input from both Russian and Ukrainian sides, denying claims of purely Russian origins and calling such assertions “blatantly false.”  This flip-flop has fueled criticism of incompetence and internal disarray in the administration, with European allies like Poland questioning the plan’s true authorship, and figures like Boris Johnson labeling it a “betrayal” and “military castration” of Ukraine.  Recent updates suggest the draft has been revised to better reflect Ukraine’s priorities, per NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov, potentially in response to backlash https://twitter.com/marcorubio/status/1992413078160617849?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1992413078160617849%7Ctwgr%5E0f66861c566f50b41a9af07d57fe1e73a72fec8b%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fredstate.com%2Fwardclark%2F2025%2F11%2F23%2Fa-new-wrinkle-secstate-distances-us-from-unacceptable-ukraine-proposal-n2196487 https://twitter.com/WarClandestine/status/1991899588241076591?s=20 https://twitter.com/kadmitriev/status/1991935021259919768?s=20 https://twitter.com/InsiderGeo/status/1991818640467874060?s=20  why also they are pushing maximalist demands. From their perspective, it's simple: if Ukraine accepts, they achieve their goals immediately. Impact of Greene’s Resignation Numerical Effect: Starting January 5, 2026, her safe Republican seat in Georgia’s 14th district will become vacant, dropping Republicans to 218 occupied seats against Democrats’ 213 (assuming no other changes, with vacancies rising to 4). This shrinks their effective margin to just 5 votes, leaving almost no room for internal dissent, illnesses, or travel delays—issues that have plagued the GOP in recent years with narrow majorities.  Passing legislation could become trickier on contentious bills, as even one or two holdouts might sink votes without Democratic support. Temporary Nature: Georgia law requires a special election for House vacancies, typically scheduled within 2-3 months by the governor. Given the district’s strong Republican lean (she won reelection in 2024 by over 30 points), it’s highly likely to be filled by another Republican, restoring the majority relatively quickly.  In summary, while the resignation tightens an already precarious majority and could complicate near-term votes in early 2026, it’s not a game-changer long-term. Republicans have navigated similar slim margins before, often relying on procedural tools or bipartisan deals when needed. https://twitter.com/ElectionWiz/status/1992360234913050627?s=20 https://twitter.com/mtgreenee/status/1992586669204070761?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1992586669204070761%7Ctwgr%5E63a82205206ed50771f6d6684add6a3453443c47%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thegatewaypundit.com%2F2025%2F11%2Fmarjorie-taylor-greene-responds-report-that-she-is%2F   ending barrage of phone calls, Marjorie went BAD.
