Davey and his wife, Amanda, moved to Indianapolis in 2012. They had a dream to start a church that would cause the city to come alive in the power of Jesus. On November 10th, 2015 Davey came home from the gym to find his wife murdered in a home invasion. She was pregnant with their second child. Since that day countless people have come to know Christ through Amanda's story and today Davey is going to share her story with all of you!

Emily just moved back home, pregnant, single and heartbroken. Everyone in her life was pushing her to have an abortion but she knew in her heart that she loved this baby and her life was not only about to get hard but also so much more amazing! Today, Aaron and Emily sit down with Cassie to share about how God delicately placed Emily and Aaron into eachothers lives.

Derek Laliberte's past wasn't an easy one. After losing his father in an accident when he was 8 years, Derek held onto a lot of anger through out his life. Today he is going share with us about how all this eventually led him to have a drinking problem. His addiction to alcohol almost destroyed his marriage but you will hear how God began pealing away layers in him to lead him to a path of recovery.

Joni is a recently divorced mom of two kids, a chef, has a big heart for Jesus and is one of Cassie's sisters. Cassie and Joni both lost their mother to a Cancer called Glioblastoma. Today, they sit down and talk about that time of pain, and the grief they shared. But what Cassie really wanted to shed light on was how at the time of their mothers sickness, Joni had God's hope, where as Cassie did not, so the grief they shared looked a little different. In the middle of the road in a setting that felt like a nightmare, Caden met with God and gave his life to Him. Daniel was trying to fill a void within himself with drugs, alcohol and even sex... but he wasn't able to find happiness or peace. Today Cassie sits down with three guests who have a passion for bringing awareness to human trafficking. Joel, Norma, and Lynda are on the board of directors for Hope Unlimited, and today they are going to be helping us to learn more about human trafficking and modern day slavery that effects our area. They give tips on what we can do to help bring awareness but most importantly what we can do to keep our children, family and friends safe.

With Thanksgiving coming up and Christmas around the corner, Cassie sits down with a few of her close friends, Josie Colby, Ronda Clawson and Molly Christensen to talk about finding thankfulness in the midst of trials. 2020 has not been easy for many of us, we are all living within this pandemic and though we may find many things that we are frustrated about there's always something to be thankful for, and that is what today's focus is on in this podcast! How are you remaining thankful in the midst of such a hard year?

It all began with a written prescription for painkillers for Jordan Wilson to become addicted to pharmaceutical drugs. But that was only the beginning of a very dark path of addiction. Today, Jordan sits down with Cassie to share his story and talk about what it was at rock bottom that he found and how God helped him out of the darkness and lead him to a place he least expected to find himself!

In today's episode Cassie sits down with Judi Seegert who shares about a time in her life when she stopped trusting in God and became angry towards Him. A series of event's lead Judi to believe that God wasn't on her side anymore. But one day, God opened up her eyes, ears and heart to Him, and she was able to see His hand in everything every step of the way.

One day Hannah Childress packed up her bag, and her baby into her mothers car and finally walked away from an abusive relationship. She was not prepared at all and had to quickly learn to trust in God as she began this new journey.

Susuan Owen's past is one that consumed of pain and anger. Susan had once had a void in herself that she tried to fill with all the wrong things, things that lead her to join a cult, and even make the decision to have an abortion. Today she walks very closely with Christ and is a leader of a Ministry called Healing hearts hoping to help others find peace within Jesus Christ.

Today, Cassie Merritt, the host of Living In Hope, shares a piece of her own story and answers the question she asks all her guest, What does hope mean to you? Through out her own trials and pain, Cassie began searching for a way out of the darkness, and through that journey she found the meaning of God's hope.

When Cassie heard of the ministry called Healing Hearts, she knew she had to share about this ministry with all of you. Today, Cassie is sitting down with one of the Healing Hearts leaders, Carol Clines, who shares about her painful past of sexual abuse that in turn lead her down a heartbreaking path that involved two abortions. If we have learned anything in these episodes, it's that God can use everything, creating such beauty from something so painful. This is how God worked in Carol's life and today she is eager to share his handiwork with all of us!
