Tabula Rasa Mystery School - Day 21: "The Dream Behind the Drama"David and Kirsten discuss the idea that life is like a movie directed by our ego, not by God, which allows us to see our experiences as acts rather than ultimate truths. By observing our thoughts and feelings, we can realize that our interpretations shape our experiences, similar to how a character in a film becomes aware of the acting around them. This awareness can reduce the intensity of our emotional responses, akin to lucid dreaming, and facilitate forgiveness. Ultimately, being aware that we are dreaming helps us not to take life too seriously, allowing us to open up to healing and a new purpose. For more information about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, visit https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Recorded live on June 25, 2025, at Casa de Milagros, Chapala, Mexico.

Tabula Rasa Mystery School - Day 16: Dyads - Handing Private Thoughts to JesusIn this deeply moving session of the Tabula Rasa Mystery School, we explore the use of time by the Holy Spirit. In his hands, time becomes a gentle tool for healing—a means to bring us back to the present moment, where all fear dissolves and only love remains. In this session, Kirsten Buxton prepares the participants for the “Dyad Dynamics,” where we are invited to face the hidden corners of the mind through the power of joining with mighty companions. When we choose to go in the direction of the Holy Spirit, these companions are given us as a symbol of the Spirit's help, to bring private thoughts—judgments, fears, and guilt—into the light. In the Holy Instant, all cares and anxieties fall away. There is no past to regret, no future to fear—only the calm, quiet presence of God's love. And as we choose magnitude over littleness, we remember that healing is not in the future. It is here. It is now.For more information about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, visit https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Recorded live on June 20, 2025, at Casa de Milagros, Chapala, Mexico.

Beer-logo'd golf bags. Old school MTV veejays. The Dead Guys of the Week — Brian Wilson and Sly Stone — and their place in music and pop culture history.Matt Zimmer and John Gaskins tried their best to kick around fun and breezy topics to avoid that dreaded summer buzz kill — The NCAA-House Settlement and where schools like SDSU and USD fit into it.But eventually, the hosts of the weekly "Nobody's Listening Anyway" podcast got down to busines at Gateway Lounge. What does this darn thing mean and what really matters to the college football fans of the Dakotas and the FCS?What's also exhausting and confusing is if SDSU, USD, and NDSU will opt in or not, and what the competitive advantages and disadvantages would immediately be no matter what that choice is.Over his ice cold Bud Light on tap, Zimmer — who, like most, is blurry-eyed from the deluge of reports and details about the Settlemen and what schools are doing about it — boils things down to the simplest and most straightforward of terms, including what SDSU football coach Dan Jackson makes of it.Also, what is the bigger picture of the Sioux Falls Storm in the wake of head coach Andre Fields's resignation this week? Is this a sign the team may never come back? Why and how did it lose its hold on both its league and the springtime sports fans of Sioux Falls? Also, some Twins Talk — Bailey Ober's injury, Buxton's boom, Wallner's emergence — and a few words about the University of Sioux Falls' new logo, which leads to the rabbit hole of SDSU and USD logos and sports team logos, in general. On the way out, a word about "Tacos and Tequila," the upcoming hip-hop festival at The Birdcage, and Matt's new pickup truck. In the UK and elsewhere in Europe, there is no shortage of fantastic beer festivals and events to keep the industry busy. And last month one fantastic addition to the brewing calendar returned for its third successful year. At Kirkstall Brewery in Leeds, brewers from across the land descended upon Yorkshire for ‘The Great Exhibition of Prize Ales'. A unique celebration of the history of brewing, Kirkstall challenged breweries across the UK to dig deep into their local history, and exhibit beers with a link to the past.Under the stewardship of brand manager Chris Hall and the team at Kirkstall, breweries such as Amity Brew Co, Anspach & Hobday, Buxton, Colbier, Lost Cause, Northern Monk and Theakston joined in to showcase a raft of excellent beer.  As part of Kirkstall Brewery, Chris has not only worked on such fantastic initiatives, he's helped develop and convey the story behind the brewery and its beers on a broader basis, too. But before joining the revered Yorkshire brewery Chris was also part of other respected breweries. And in his career to-date, he's become a sought after and popular part of the UK's beer and brewing fabric. In this episode, we speak to Chris about his admiration and love of locally-made, sessionable beer and how the UK beer scene has changed and evolved during his time working in it. He outlines that when it comes to showcasing your brewery's brand, it should communicate your attributes and values and we also discuss why you should always consider the brand story that you want people to know.

[School of Movies 2025] One of the most astonishing action epics in cinema history, and almost nobody who saw it managed to do so in the cinema! At least in the West. This historical epic, popularised by Netflix plays extremely fast and loose with the facts, reimagining the lives of two of India's most celebrated revolutionaries to have intersected. RRR tells the story of Komaram Bheem, a man of the Gond Tribe who is searching for a little girl taken from his people by despicable English Colonial Governor Scott Buxton. Worried about the human tsunami inbound, Buxton's awful wife brings in Police Officer Raju to intercept and catch Bheem alive. BUT in Shakespearean fashion, the two under assumed identities unknowingly become firm friends, and as it turns out Raju is secretly trying to climb the ranks and gain access to guns for a revolution, and the best way to do that will be to stop his new brother-in-arms and bring him in for execution. It is a rip-roaring tiger-tale of unbound ferocity, mixed with a refreshingly gentle take on male bonding. It is also of course rather troubling in its political and cultural implications, which we will elaborate upon in this firestorm of a podcast.

Dr. Josie gets to the bottom of what might be causing the litterbox boycott, from texture preferences to feline stress—and yes, cat Prozac is on the table. Victoria also shares about her father/son Labrador duo Buxton & Cash. She spills the story of how she has a doggie dating app to thank for Cash and his siblings. While the entire litter found loving homes, one adopter took in three siblings—and now they're in behavioral chaos. Dr. Josie explains why bringing home littermates is rarely a good idea and offers tips for untangling bad habits. Plus, hear about Buxton’s recent ACL surgery and why Dr. Josie warns that a second tear might be looming. The final session of the Strawberry Fields Festival is a powerful culmination of music, dialogue, and spiritual reflection. Kicking off the morning, the band RISE sets the tone with three heartfelt songs, offering an opening to stillness and inspiration. David and Kirsten step into the space for a profound discussion on guidance, divine connection, and the nature of choosing between what is valuable and what is valueless. Drawing from Lesson 133 of A Course in Miracles, the dialogue explores the transformative idea that what lasts forever holds all value, while the temporary is ultimately empty. They emphasize the need to shift from theoretical knowledge to a practical, lived experience—inviting listeners into a space where miracles collapse time and bring clarity.Through personal insights, storytelling, and an engaging question-and-answer session, David and Kirsten highlight the essence of true surrender. Kirsten shares that before divine guidance can be received, there must be a wholehearted “Yes”—a willingness to step beyond self-determined choices and fully embrace the unfolding spiritual plan. This closing session weaves together music, wisdom, and interactive dialogue, leaving listeners with a deep sense of connection, inspiration, and a renewed commitment to spiritual awakening. For more information about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, visit https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Recorded live on May 31, 2025, Living Miracles Monastery, Duchesne, Utah, USA

The Opening of Strawberry Fields Festival features RISE, David Hoffmeister, Kirsten Buxton, and Jason Warwick.Immerse yourself in the transcendent music and teachings from the Strawberry Fields Festival's opening session. This recording begins with three soul-stirring songs from the band RISE, setting the stage for an exploration into the profound truths of divine innocence. In the session, David Hoffmeister, Kirsten Buxton, and Jason Warwick guide listeners on a journey inward, revealing that innocence is not a fragmented concept of the world but an unwavering truth. We are as God created us: pure spirit, pure love. We have never been separate; we have never erred. This understanding dissolves illusions and leads us into holiness, unlocking the freedom of our minds and the liberation of the world. The festival's theme song, “Nothing is real, nothing to get hung about,” serves as a reminder that true mastery is achieved through love—not fear. It is not about meeting worldly needs but about embracing the divine. Atonement is the realization that separation never occurred, and in this awareness, time fades. The past is relinquished, the future loses relevance, and eternity stands revealed. This profoundly moving session concludes with a final song from RISE, bringing the message full circle—calling us to let go, embrace truth, and step into the peace of our true identity. For more information about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, visit https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Recorded live on May 30, 2025, Living Miracles Monastery, Duchesne, Utah, USA

Munaf Manji and Griffin Warner break down MLB Friday from a betting perspective. best bets as always. Munaf Manji and Griffin Warner hosted the MLB podcast focusing on Friday's games. They began by reflecting on their recent 2-0 best bets streak, expressing confidence heading into the weekend. The first highlighted game was the Chicago rivalry at Wrigley Field, where Shane Smith starts for the struggling White Sox against Cade Horton of the Cubs. Griffin noted Horton's limited pitch mix might still overpower the weak Sox lineup. Munaf emphasized the Cubs' rest advantage and the Sox's fatigue after a loss in Cincinnati. Next, the Guardians face the Reds in the "Battle of Ohio." Griffin was cautious about Tanner Bybee as a road favorite, pointing out the hitter-friendly park and Brady Singer's vulnerability to home runs. Munaf countered, citing Bybee's strong recent performances, including seven innings against the Phillies, making him lean toward the Guardians' money line. In Philadelphia, Andrew Haney's inconsistency was likened to an unpredictable night out, while Ranger Suarez's solid home record made the Phillies a favored pick, especially on the run line, with Munaf highlighting Haney's poor career numbers against the Phillies. For the Mets vs Yankees, Griffin leaned toward the Mets due to their bullpen strength and skepticism of the Yankees' offense, while Munaf preferred betting the over, expecting home runs from both sides at Yankee Stadium. Griffin selected the Orioles over the Nationals as his best bet, trusting Baltimore's bullpen despite their shaky start to the season. Munaf agreed, noting Cade Povich's prior success against the Nationals. In Toronto, Griffin doubted the Tigers' offense despite their strong start, while Munaf leaned under 8.5, noting Flaherty's rough patch and Francis's vulnerability. In the Braves vs Red Sox matchup, Griffin was hesitant to back Chris Sale and wary of the Braves' underperformance. Munaf praised Crochet's early season form and leaned towards under eight, expecting a pitching duel. Regarding the Astros vs Rangers, both analysts favored the Rangers due to Ivaldi's dominance and McCullers Jr.'s limited pitch count. Munaf stressed the under, given the Astros' offensive struggles and Rangers' home under trends. In Milwaukee, Griffin was cautious about backing the Brewers despite Chad Patrick's solid form, while Munaf pointed out the absence of Buxton and Correa for the Twins, making the under eight a strong play. For the late games, they mocked the Rockies' dire situation in Arizona, where Corbin Burns' Diamondbacks were massive favorites. Munaf joked about backing the D-Backs team total overs. In San Diego, Munaf leaned over eight and a half in the Mariners vs Padres game, noting Koenig's regression potential after his shutout of the Rockies. Griffin, however, was hesitant. The Dodgers vs Angels featured Dustin May against Jack Kahanowitz. Both hosts dismissed the Angels' chances, advising bettors to focus on Dodgers team totals. In the Giants vs A's game, Griffin acknowledged JP Sears' surprising stability but warned about his fly-ball tendencies in San Francisco's pitcher-friendly park. Munaf favored Logan Webb's strong home splits and suggested a Giants win by multiple runs. Finally, the best bets were set: Griffin chose Orioles ML at -108, citing bullpen strength and home field, while Munaf selected Phillies -1.5 at -108, pointing to Suarez's home form and Haney's frailties. Throughout the podcast, both hosts balanced data and playful commentary, giving special attention to pitching matchups, team fatigue, and offensive inconsistencies, emphasizing the significance of situational factors like park dimensions and team travel schedules.
