On this episode of Michigan Wild, Nate is solo once again recapping the last 2 weeks of his season. These 2 weeks included opening day of Michigan's firearm season and his trip out to Kansas. Opening day of Michigan's rifle season is something that Nate and his son Henry have been enjoying for many years. Especially now that Henry has his own tag in his pocket and has been finding his own success the last 2 falls. This year Henry had a doe tag in his pocket and was able to fill that tag on a beautiful doe. Once again making memories to last a lifetime.  After Henry's tag was punched the next priority was Kansas for Nate. That included leaving the house at 2am and heading west. Kansas was the adventure that Nate looks forward to every fall when he travels out of state chasing whitetails. Through the episode Nate breaks down his thoughts and how the trip played out for him, including all the mistakes and success he faced. Nate breaks down every day of hunting and scouting along with every encounter he had on this trip. Kansas was unlike any other place he has hunted with a wide variety of diversity and difficult terrain.  Overall opening day of rifle was a huge success and so was the trip to Kansas for Nate. These are the moments that guys work so hard for and they go by so quickly every fall. The season isn't over yet and Nates got 3 buck tags he is still looking to fill! It also could be that Gops and Trump are demented MFers and voters are tired of giving them any more chances, money, or pity. Elon Musk has been overestimated for the millionth time. Lucky for him, Elon does have a buffer of several billion more. Over on the same end of the spectrum, RFK Jr. is planning to safeguard the nation's precious bodily fluids, including our two most precious: Mountain Dew and mayonnaise. Calgary turned off the fluoride and now will invest millions to turn it back on again. Donald Trump sure does look like he's going down, however his troops might not have received the news. It's not election day yet and they're brandishing machetes, punching little old ladies, and blowing up drop boxes… not exactly unexpected. Donald has a few lawsuits cooking already with CBS and the Washington Post, which are heading to his first or second favorite judge, Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk. NBC, feeling good after landing a cameo by popular TikTok phenomenon Kamala Harris, is now throwing Donald a bone: TV King for 90 seconds. Arrr! David Waldman and Greg Dworkin says heave to, ye lubbers before they keelhaul the lot of you! Oh... We aren't doing this today? Okay. Experts agree, one person will be elected soon, and soon, pollsters will be explaining to all exactly how they were actually right… post-election. (Nates… jeez.) Until then, Kamala Harris seems to be ahead, in many places and in many polls. Not by a lot, but how much does she need? They say it's tight, so doesn't that also mean that it might be a landslide? There is good news economically. Gas is cheap. Oil is cheap enough to stockpile. The Fed cut its interest rate, which has got to be good or bad news for Harris, maybe? The Teamsters would have endorsed Kamala, but she has turned out to be more black and female than they had expected. nyhow, that's a lot of good news, and who doesn't like good news? Oh, right, I remember, Donald Trump and JD Vance. JD has done his research and will take the racial hatred in his heart over facts and decency any day of the week. At least Miss Sassy is safe, for now. Russians like bad news so much that they are manufacturing their own and shipping it into the US daily. Iranian hackers stole Trump info but couldn't interest Biden in any of it.

Nate's final birthday pick was a bit of a head scratcher that turned into a giggle fest. Nate tossed a double feature at us and after the Feast debacle Charlie and Pete were not looking forward to this show. Turns out Nate picked a couple of unknown bangers...well...at least that's what Charlie and Nate thought. No joke, this show is 90% giggles and 10% trying to explain WTH is going on. I dare you not to laugh.

David Waldman has been counting the days until Greg Dworkin returns, as that is a much more predictable and a lot more rewarding than waiting for justice to come to Donald Trump. 88% of all Nates are 100% wrong about the election, but which wrong are they? 2016 wrong? 2020 wrong? Time will tell! It depends on who you ask. Black Americans? Jewish Americans? Veterans? Liz Cheney is voting for Kamala, and so is Dick Cheney… DICK! Like pollsters, Corporate Media also needs to make their house payments, therefore they're selling tickets to their “debate” that will decide the election for all of us, somehow. Except for those of us who don't want a woman president, of course. If we can get past them, then good luck voting! Gops are using "great replacement fears" to shut out voters. The Heritage Foundation's own “deportation scientist” discovered that lying about voter fraud works best with the gullible and those willing to accept lies. Donald Trump, as usual, was way ahead of the scientists on this. Trump understands that once elected he will need every dimwit violent bigot on his side, if he hopes to round up all the rest. Other fascistic savants include Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, raiding Latino Democrats' homes and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, having police visit people who signed abortion rights petitions. Meanwhile, James O'Keefe is working his way down the ladder in his political stings. Waffle House night managers should watch what they say to that guy with the price tag on his trucker cap stirring his coffee with a dildo. James and Donald know when it comes to billable hours it's always Russia, Russia, Russia!

This is what democracy looks like! Day 1 of the DNC, and the bench was so deep that they had to bump James Taylor from the lineup because of all of the sustained applause for the speakers and laughter at Donald Trump's expense. Jamie Raskin looked great out there, making certain there wasn't any January 6 amnesia. UAW's Shawn Fain was best dressed, and pointed out that Trump doesn't just look like a scab, he actually is one. Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow threw the book at Trump and the project to which he is a pet, Project 2025.  U.S. men's basketball team gold medal winning coach Steve Kerr put Donald to bed. Then there were the breakout stars like Raphael Warnock and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez… You'll be hearing a lot from those kids in the future! Then, there was Hillary Clinton, swoon! Hillary gave us a clear example of what could have been while telling us what can be in her barn burning (Fact: No barns were actually “burnt”) … stem-winding (Fact: Few stems had been proven “wound”) ... speech free of the petty punditry that previously dogged (Fact: No dogs participated) ... her in the past. Well, at least the media can't get away with that crap anymore. And then... there was President Joe Biden! Joe got his speech out early to give Donald Trump time for his 2 AM posts. If you didn't see some or any of the above, don't worry. It will all be clipped and memed for your future enjoyment. Eventually we will find out who's is bigger, a competition Donald Trump has never won once in his life. 79% of all Nates are 90% full of crap. Trump will probably be forced to carry JD Vance to term, but that doesn't mean he isn't still contemplating a back-alley Youngkin at this late date. Of course, Trump could be putting off replacing Vance until after his overthrow of the United States.

This week on the Oklahoma Outdoors Podcast, John is joined by fellow Sportsmens Empire podcast hosts Nick Otto and Nate Rozeveld. This podcast was recorded as Nick and Nate were driving down from Michigan to Oklahoma for a few days of exciting hog hunting action. The Michiganders were loaded down with firepower and coolers and ready to take on whatever may come their way. Another true crime week. First, Nate reads a story about Marcus Wesson, I really can't say much about this aside the guy is a monster, disgusting, a murderer, amongst many many other things. I've personally covered some pretty bad stories here and now it's Nates turn.
