In the second part of this message, Rev. Celia shares the key to knowing our God-given purpose. Whatever God demands of us, He already configured it into our system. One key to discovering it is to look at what we're good at. God hid your purpose in you where you can find it, and no one can take it away.

We live out of our identity in Christ, but purpose is the reason for our existence. God created everything with intention, and when He made us, it was for Kingdom influence. Whatever He has called us to do, He has also endowed us with the gifts to perform it.

Do you want to live a mediocre life when it comes to your faith? Do you want to live a mediocre life when it comes to your influence and IMPACT? The answer should be, “No” to those questions and would be committed to making sacrifices, and being proactive and disciplined in the way we live our lives every single day. You, no matter who you are, have the ability to IMPACT the lives of others for all eternity. But not without a cost and a commitment. Interview was done May 15, 2023! I love meeting new people willing to share their “lemon to lemonade” experience! This story is about Cameron who was usually a shy person but on his Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints he was pushed out of his comfort zone by good people. He had examples to help him see what was possible. A few friends had positive attitudes about public speaking that taught him the way to stand outside of the rest is to enjoy what other people don't like to do. Public speaking was one. He is now a Telehealth therapist, has done 9 Sprint Triathlons, has a YouTube channel, and wrote a book on principles of public speaking that is focused for an LDS audience. So this podcast has old "Original" shows from that time period. It also has "New" shows that are currently being recorded with new guests. Reverend Dr. Vanessa Rosser stresses the significance of living with joy, hope, and encouragement, and being aware of our emotions in interactions with others. In two episodes, Dr. Vanessa and Raven talk about stillness, meditation, personal experiences, and tips for staying joyful, grateful, and hopeful. They also discuss the lessons learned from the pandemic and the importance of staying connected, supporting each other while protecting ourselves. They encourage listeners to share their stories and live life on purpose.• Living life on purpose means doing everything with intention, joy, hope, and encouragement.• To become an overcomer, we need to recognize what is weighing us down and evaluate whether it's worth keeping.• Reflect on the exchange of feelings in our interactions with others to determine if they contribute to our joy, hope, and encouragement.• Take note of small things that bring pleasure and purpose to our lives that we may have overlooked.• Reflect on the thousands of moments in time that brought you joy, hope, and encouragement, not just the one moment you're stuck in.• Technology has enabled us to stay connected and overcome challenges.• Sharing our stories can inspire others and help us overcome challenges.Best Quotes:• "When we live life on purpose, it does not necessarily mean that you have found your purpose. However, it does mean that whatever you do in life, you do it with a purpose."• "But all of a sudden when you sit still, you do hear that whisper. Yes. Do hear that whisper."• "Take note of how someone made us feel or we take note of what something smell like or we take note of what something felt like or we took note of what we saw, right? Are the notes that we will carry with us."• "Our testimony consists of the tests that we have passed and our proof of being overcomers."• "So if there are anyone among us this, this day, I wanna make sure that you know that you have the courage to share your story because you are indeed an overcomer."• "Just remember to live life on purpose so that you may experience the joy, the hope, and the encouragement in living life."• "I make it my intention each and every day to get more life outta living and more living outta life. Make sure you do the same."Thanks for listening and please share us with a friend and...if it feels right to you leave us a 5 star review on the link below and share what you enjoyed most about todays show https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/amazing-women-and-men-of-power/id1441172752Also, remember to listen to the Amazing Women & Men Of Power Live show at 11 am PST Monday-Friday on our new iHeart Radio Station Power Me Up Radio Talk 24/7 and "Listen While You Work" to over 30 other powerful and inspiring host shows here. https://www.iheart.com/live/power-me-up-radio-talk-247-9185/Check out Dr Vanessa Rosser's show, Spiritually Reformed every Friday @ 3:00PM PST

Have you ever wondered what living on purpose means? Today I am talking about what the key to living a purposeful life looks like, who has it, and how to apply it.
Some of us spend years living in fear of what others will think of us because we don't have the examples to look to for encouragement and acceptance. Lucy Dunne was once there, but now lives her life on purpose to serve others better. Matt grew up going to church but never personally experienced the transforming power of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, until his wife encountered the Lord in a dramatic, supernatural way. Through her transformation, Matt became hungrier for God but was stuck in this frustrating cycle of trying to do better but falling back into old behavior patterns. Then he was invited to join an event called “21 Days of Prayer,” and on day 17 he surrendered his life completely to the Lord. Since then, EVERYTHING has changed. Special Guest: Matt Wilson.
What do you do when adversity strikes? Do you see obstacles that can't be overcome or do you see opportunity and the possibility to transform yourself? In this episode of Your History Your Story our guest is Robert Pardi. Robert is a transformational life coach, speaker and author of “Possibility in Action - A Journey to an Intentional Life”. Robert grew up with an alcoholic father and was forced at a young age to develop coping techniques in order to deal with his difficult home life. In college, Robert met Desiree, his future wife. They got married and looked forward to an exciting life together. Little did they know that just prior to Desiree's thirty first birthday, while she was studying to become a doctor, she would be diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Robert walked hand in hand with her throughout her journey and their love for each other continued to grow. They had an action plan that compelled them to make the most out of every day they had together. Sadly, despite her strong will to live and immeasurable courage, Desiree lost her battle with cancer and Robert was devastated. Trying to find his way again, he leaned into some of the coping skills he developed as a child and the experiences he had during his wife's illness to transform his life. He eventually moved from New York to Italy where he has become an amazing life coach, using his passion and compassion to help others live their best life. Robert has a special way of connecting with those he encounters. Imagine there will be four eulogies at your funeral. One will come from a family member. One will come from a friend. One will come from someone you worked with. And another will be delivered by someone who represented how you gave back to the world (Perhaps a charity or ministry). Now write what they might say today. You might discover something about yourself. It might change the course of your life. You might want to write them again with your new aspirations in mind. This conversation ends on that note. But where my guest takes us is through a journey of self-discovery intersecting our unique powers, purpose, and passions. If we seek, we shall find, and it will change how our lives flow and flourish. Tony Davis is the Founder and Chairman of Dovetail Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd and Next Level Insights Group. He is an entrepreneur, consultant, advisor, and a passionate evangelist of “Living your Life on Purpose", which happens to be the book he is currently writing. You don't have to be waiting for the week to end (TGIF) or for retirement to begin living. Enjoy a purpose-filled great conversation!

Join me and Vikiyah as we tackle the topic of purpose. In this episode, Vikiyah gives her thoughts about what it looks like to follow purpose. Vikiyah encourages you not to let people, money or even yourself stop you from doing what you were put on this earth to do. Do what God called you to do, and be who God called you to be, no matter how uncomfortable it may be. And when you need a little motivation, remember your purpose might be tied to somebody else. So, if you're not walking in purpose, you could be being selfish, and standing in the way of somebody getting the help they need. And if you are someone who is frustrated because maybe you're trying to find your purpose, and haven't figured it out yet. It's cool, ask God to show you, and give it time. It'll find you.
