Our guest in this episode is Winston Cunningham a veteran who has served 27 years in the armed forces. His lived experience has enabled him to overcome many obstacles and support and to serve others. Winston is a master of empowering people to grow, develop and cultivate in their life. Whilst being an amazing advocate in supporting people work through some very difficult issues. Winston is a qualified BA (Hons) Counsellor, he has also attained his diploma in clinical counselling and Certificate in Mentoring. He has also been part of many groups including Being well together, CAHN and Mates in mind.
Our guest this episode is Carol Maynard a South Manchester based psychotherapist who works with individuals, couples and is a fan of nature. We met randomly through mutual friends and unwittingly connected over our common interests, passions and advocacy. She explores psychosomatic elements with her clients, teaching how to share emotions healthily and helping understand what is happening in their relationships and lives. He was born and raised in Lusaka (Zambia) and immigrated to Australia in 2004 where he later undertook medical training at the University of Wollongong (2008). After becoming a doctor, Xavier found his calling in Psychiatry which suited his curious nature and love of open conversations. His hobbies include reading psychological thrillers, dancing to Amapiano and explaining science fiction to anyone who will listen.
