Summer Ready Online Group link:https://www.themindmusclehustle.com/summer-readytest-group You may have heard that Abs are made in the kitchen. But they're actually made in the gym but revealed int he kitchen. In order to see our abs we have to do 2 parts: Pt. 1 Eat correctly to drop body fat.Pt. 2 Train a certain way to build ab muscles and burn body fat.1) Prioritize Burning body fat not Weight-If you focus on just losing weight you could lose 5lbs but if that 5lbs is muscle then you haven't actually lost any fat. When you prioritize fat loss then the muscles (Abdominals) will be even more defined when you do drop the body fat.2) Do your Resistance Training Compound Movements-Compound movements burn a lot of calories, support muscle mass, and put a large emphasis on the core. Especially the TVA which makes your stomach and waist look tighter.3) Train you're abs frequently-Beginners Train 2-3x/week-Intermediate/advance can train 3-6x/week-Hit different parts each day for maximum effect4) Train you're abs like a muscle-Variation- Change up your exercises. Transverse Abdominis, Rectus Abdominis, and Obliques. -Resistance- Add a band, cable, or weight to your exercise to make it harder and build that ab muscle-Form- Make sure your form is impeccable. It's easy to use other muscle while training your core so take it nice and slow.5) Add some cardio or NEAT- Lastly you can add some cardio to further your (calorie) burn. Cardio doesn't "Burn fat" it "Burns" calories. That's why I made it my last point because if you're not doing the other 4 points you could lose muscle mass instead of fat mass. Making it even harder to loss body fat. Many people could get abs without cardio- NEAT is Non-exercise-activity-thermogensis is where you add in simple physical activities that burn calories that aren't exercise specific. - Taking stairs, counting steps, standing desk, Carrying groceries, walking around, fidgeting feet, etc. Links (MMH & Ashton):Website: https://www.themindmusclehustle.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mindmusclehustle/Ashtons IG: https://www.instagram.com/ashtonbaalaer/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mindmusclehustle/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcCU-5I6BQZg3STbzqUiqjw?view_as=subscriber
For our SUMMER READY ONLINE GROUP --> CLICK HEREYou may have heard that Abs are made in the kitchen. But they're actually made in the gym but revealed int he kitchen. In order to see our abs we have to do 2 parts: Pt. 1 Eat correctly to drop body fat.Pt. 2 Train a certain way to build ab muscles and burn body fat.**1) Eat less calories and burn more fat**- It takes about 3500 calories to lose a pound of weight- If you eat 500 calories less per day then you should lose about 1 pound per week. Now we want to make sure that 1 pound is muscle and not fat. We also want to make sure your calories don't get too low. Low for women around 1400-1500 cals, low for men around 1800-2000 cals.**2) Eat more protein and less inflammatory foods**-Protein is the building block of muscle. Muscle will make you look leaner and burn more calories. Protein will also keep you fuller for longer.-Eat less foods that will make you feel bloated. Some of these foods may be diary, sugar, processed meats, trans fats, alcohol, gluten, and veggie/nut oils. These foods can also wreck your gut health making it harder for your body to break down food.**3) Eat more fibrous foods and eat less sugary foods**- Fiber feeds good bacteria in your gut, slows down digestion, helps you poop, and keeps you full.- Fiber is found in fruits, veggies, ad whole whole grains.- Sugar will make you hungry faster, can cause inflammation/bloating, becomes addictive, makes you eat more food in general**4) Drink more water and Drink less calories**-Water boosts your metabolism, regulates your hunger cue, removes waste from the body, helps with workouts, helps body properly burn fat-Around half your body weight in ounces- Drinking calories isn't very filling, drinking fruit juices/sodas/energy drinks are just full of sugar (pt #3), drinking alcohol can stops your body from burning fat, empty calories, makes you feel hungrier, and can lead you to make poor choices (Eat worse foods).**5) Be more consistent and less stressed**- Consistency is the key to seeing your abs! It may take a long time of eating right and working out to finally drop body fat. Especially around your stomach. Stay the course, have a good plan, have an accountability partner and continue to push on!- Stress kills consistency. It makes your body store fat in your stomach and organs. It causes inflammation and bloating. It causes you to make poor food and drinking choices. It ruins your sleep. Join our SUMMER READY ONLINE TRAINING GROUP (Only 18 spots left)https://www.themindmusclehustle.com/summer-readytest-group1) You don't know HOW to do something!-No one is born knowing how to do anything besides (Poop, breath, sleep and eat)-LEARN HOW (By yourself, from a teacher/coach)2) You don't Start DOING something!-You think you have to do something big to get started! -Just start with a small step (Showing up to the gym, 10 pushups, eat a veggie, write one page, read one page, call one person)3) You don't WHERE to begin!-If you don't know WHERE you are currently and WHERE you want to go, then no one can help show you WHERE to start- So START by finding out WHERE to you are & WHERE you want to go.4) You don't HAVE enough time!- Make time or Buy time- If you truly care about something you will make time for it. Make a list of priorities and how much you spend on them. Then reduce the lesser priorities to MAKE time for you to start & sustain.- Or Buy products/services that free up your time. For example pay someone to clean your house, that will free up some time. Or pay a company like MMH to create your workouts and nutrition plan so that way you can save time creating a plan.5) You don't have the COURAGE to start!-You don't believe you can win. You don't believe you can drop the weight. You don't believe you can start the company. You don't believe you can change your life.- Fear of losing triumphs the thrill of winning- I want you to understand something. Your not the person you need to be yet to accomplish what you want and that's exactly why you should start! You wont be able to become that person, have a successful business, have sexy/healthy body, until you start. When you start you'll change and you'll have some failures. But this will mold you into the person that will eventually accomplish that thing.Links (MMH & Ashton):Website: https://www.themindmusclehustle.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mindmusclehustle/Ashtons IG: https://www.instagram.com/ashtonbaalaer/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mindmusclehustle/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcCU-5I6BQZg3STbzqUiqjw?view_as=subscriber

In this episode, Ashton and Jordan discuss one of the most powerful motivators in our lives... OUR WHY. WHY do you do things? WHY do you want things? WHY do you wake up every morning. WHY WHY WHY! They talk about how to leverage your WHY to get the results you want to achieve and also help others reach another level!Message from Jordan:Your “why” should outweigh every excuse you have to NOT live your best life. This concept sounds simple, but it really takes some intentionality of why you want to achieve your goals. Embedded in most people’s minds are years of doubts, fears, and many times, negative thinking. You have to make up in your mind that you are ready to change your way of thinking and will work hard to live the best life you can live. In this episode Evan and Ashton talk about how to Embrace the SUCK and how to use tough times to create a more fortified mindset! Evan used his military background to build an amazing mindset but also use that mindset to help other people! If you want to have a stronger mind then we both encourage you to embrace hard times and use them to help other and build a better life!Message from Evan ⤵️Hey everyone! My name is Evan Borrelli and I’m from Wilmington Delaware. I grew up in the north but went to The Citadel down in Charleston SC and that’s where my life and mental capacity really changed. On top of that, I’m a lieutenant in the Army National Guard and also work for a bank in Charlotte! Ashton has an amazing concept to speak on mental toughness and mindset in a time filled with envy and never feeling good enough or strong enough because people “post it to prove it”... I dive into my thoughts on how to be mentally tough, smiling through the suck and just finding joy in even the darkest moments. When I was in high school I was in a very dark place, and I used that (down the road) to fuel my drive to be better and show myself I have value. This allowed me to break through mental barriers and push myself past my own physical limits. I hope what I say and what Ashton and I talk about has an impact on at least one person out there. Stay hungry !!
