Outside the Trenches is a new Chiefs’ podcast made specifically for Chiefs Kingdom. Hosted by two Super Bowl Champions in former Chiefs Reporter BJ Kissel and six-year NFL veteran Nick Leckey, the show will break down all the relevant storylines and observations from the previous game and chronicle the journey as the team looks to RUN IT BACK! The show is presented by Jack Stack BBQ and produced by Let it Fly Media.
The Outside the Trenches podcast is a must-listen for any Kansas City Chiefs fan. This dynamic trio, comprised of Hollywood, the renaissance man, and the duck wrangler, brings a refreshing and entertaining perspective to Chiefs content. Their chemistry is undeniable, making each episode a joy to listen to. Unlike other Chiefs podcasts that can feel awkward or forced, these guys have truly found their groove and provide great entertainment.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the honesty and intelligence in their analysis. They aren't straight homers, but they also don't shy away from criticizing when necessary. Their takes are well-thought-out and backed up by knowledge of the game. It's refreshing to hear such genuine and informed perspectives on my favorite franchise.
Additionally, I appreciate that they touch on all major points in each episode. The hosts do a great job of providing an overview of what will be discussed and even include time stamps for easy navigation. This attention to detail shows their commitment to providing quality content and ensuring their listeners can easily find the information they're looking for.
However, there are some downsides to this podcast that need improvement. One issue is the sound quality, which has seen a significant drop recently. It's unclear if it's a production or equipment problem, but it definitely needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Good sound quality greatly enhances the listening experience and ensures that every word can be heard clearly.
In conclusion, The Outside the Trenches podcast is hands down one of the best Chiefs podcasts out there. The hosts' chemistry, honest takes, and comprehensive coverage make it a must-listen for any fan of the franchise. Despite some minor issues like sound quality, this podcast delivers high-quality content that keeps fans entertained while keeping them informed about their favorite team. I'm excited about their transition to KCSN and look forward to following them wherever they go because they truly deserve all the success they're achieving.
