March 13, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 106 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers agreeing to terms with free agent S Jaquan Brisker on Thursday. We go over Bricker's best fit in the Steelers' defense, his contract, injury history, and his pros and cons after four NFL seasons. With Brisker now in Pittsburgh, along with a few other new secondary players, Alex and I discuss Steelers veteran DB Jalen Ramsey and his status with the team. We go over why Friday the 13th is a big day for the Steelers and Ramsey when it comes to commitment level related to his contract. We discuss the plausibility of Ramsey being cut or traded by 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Several more of the Steelers 2026 unrestricted free agents have now found new homes as WR Calvin Austin III, TE Connor Heyward, and S Miles Killebrew all agreed to terms with new teams on Thursday. We go over the details related to the loss of those three players during this Friday show. With free agent QB Kyler Murray signing with the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, Alex and I discuss Pittsburgh being the only realistic landing spot for QB Aaron Rodgers this offseason. We discuss Rodgers' potential contract with the Steelers should he indeed re-sign with the team this offseason. Later in this show, Alex and I revisit the finer details of the one-year contract extension that Steelers DT Cameron Heyward signed this past week. Specifically, Alex and I look at the financial details related to the 2027 contract year for Heyward. During this Friday show, Alex and I learn of another Steelers' pre-draft visitor. We discuss that player briefly. We also go over where several members of the Steelers scouting department have been spotted at various pro days this past week. This 67-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the above recap and we end this show by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Jay Bilas joins Mo and Coach Brendan Suhr for a full breakdown of what might be the deepest NBA draft class in history. If you're trying to figure out who to watch beyond the big three of Darryn Peterson, AJ Dybantsa and Cameron Boozer - and whether this freshman class really is as stacked as everyone says - this is the episode to listen or watch.Jay explains why he'd still take Cooper Flagg number one over every prospect in this year's class, what's really going on with Darren Peterson's availability, and the sleeper names that NBA scouts are quietly circling. The conversation goes deep on the art versus science of the draft, with stories about Michael Jordan falling to third, Jerry West outworking everyone in the league, and Kobe Bryant going 13th overall. The trio also tackles some of the NBA's biggest current debates: should teams be tanking for this draft? Is the 65-game rule fair when genuinely injured players like Jokic miss the cut? And why the American basketball development system might need to drop its arrogance and learn from international pathways. Plus, Jay shares stories from his time as Coach K's graduate assistant at Duke and what makes Jon Scheyer a coaching genius.Topics covered: The historically deep 2026 NBA Draft freshman class Sleeper prospects: Caleb Wilson, Keaton Wagler, Nate Ament, Darius Acuff, Milan Momcilovic Cooper Flagg vs this year's class - where Jay would rank him Darren Peterson's availability and the narrative problem The art vs science of the NBA Draft Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Greg Oden draft stories Jerry West's unmatched work ethic as a GM American vs international player development and the soccer connection Jon Scheyer and Duke's coaching succession Tanking incentives and the 65-game award rule The flagrant foul debate
The Rams gave up a lot to trade for Chiefs CB Trent McDuffie. Brock says it highlight how weak this draft class is. Then, we take your calls on whether you want the Seahawks to trade for Maxx Crosby and how much the Seahawks should be willing to give up for him.
Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it's what appears to be a confusing top of the 2026 NFL Draft class. With several of the top prospects at non-traditional position for early in the first round, it's shaping up to be a tough draft class to project, and that means it's going to be tough for the Steelers to have a good idea of who might be available to them at No. 21 overall. Alan breaks it down. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
03/02 Full Show: Hour 1 - 1:00 Hour 2 - 42:00 Hour 3 - 1:25:00 Hour 4 - 2:07:00 The Sports Junkies break down the top storylines around the sports world. Today's guest was Ian Hartitz.
The combine just reshuffled the entire top of the draft board, and we're breaking down every bit of it. Todd McShay is now floating Sonny Styles as high as number two to the Jets after a Mount Rushmore-level athletic performance, and the gap between Styles and Arvell Reese is suddenly a real conversation. Meanwhile, Ty Simpson went from falling out of the first round to generating top-10 buzz, with the Cleveland Browns doing extensive work on the former Alabama quarterback. McShay's "Hall of Fame tier" vs. "really good tier" creates uncomfortable draft room debates about positional value — would you pass on elite talent at linebacker, safety, running back, or guard for a slightly flawed edge or tackle? The 2026 combine class shattered speed and explosiveness records at nearly every position group, led by historic performances from Styles, Kenyan Sadiq, Eli Stowers, and Monroe Freeling Freeling's prototype left tackle measurables have him surging up boards, potentially leapfrogging Maui Noah and Fano, while Spencer Fano's elite agility opens up an interior projection conversation Ty Simpson's combine performance and his family connection to Browns HC Todd Monken have reignited his stock — and some are even debating his tape against Mendoza's through nine games The top five is wide open after Mendoza, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
