Preston was obviously over the moon with the midweek events. The guys also discuss the final matchday of the Bundesliga season and acknowledge the clubs that clinched European places and the clubs who will drop down to 2. Bundesliga. Werder Bremen will play the 3rd place club in 2. The tragic news of it all, the title race in Germany is all but over now that Bayern defeated Borussia Dortmund 1-0 thanks to a Joshua Kimmich chip.Other matches that were covered included the 5-0 drubbing by RB Leipzig against Mainz, a 4-0 beatdown thanks to Hertha Berlin against their cross-city rivals Union Berlin, the cardboard cutout fans in Borussia Monchengladbach v. Bayer Leverkusen, and MUCH more!
There are milestones for podcasters: 10, 25, 50, and 69. No better way to celebrate this milestone than welcoming back soccer after 2 months of quarantine. While every game was played behind closed doors, it didn't downgrade the action that took place on the pitch. The guys walked through each of the games from Dortmund v Schalke to Fortuna Dusseldorf v. Paderborn (spoiler alert: nothing happened). Now that soccer is back, we are back to our regular weekly programming.
SOCCER IS BACK THIS WEEKEND. The boys deep dive into the upcoming Bundesliga weekend and talk about each match with the American tinted glasses.Twitters: @OTL_Pod @RileyJamesIAC @pdub116 Instagram: @RileyJamesIAC @PWetherington1
During this pandemic, Riley and Preston are recording every other week, as there is no soccer going on.In the meantime, since Preston was watching "Waco" on Netflix, they debated which soccer figure would be the best cult leader, while there were differing opinions, the reasonings were pretty great. Since there are no sports going on, the guys went hypothetical and predicted the ends of the season if the stoppage of play never happened. They covered the top 5 European leagues plus MLS.
The guys chatted about the very limited news in the world of football and then went into the trendy "pick 3" segment on 6 different soccer related topics. We hope you enjoy!Twitters: @OTL_Pod @RileyJamesIAC @pdub116

For some, it's a trip down memory lane with some unforgettable matches. Please send us episode ideas during this pandemic!

Over The Line has the latest updates in the postponements and cancellations in the world of soccer. Basically everything except for the Russian Premier League is suspended for the time being.Prior to the mass cancellations, half of the UCL round of 16 played their second leg which resulted in the European Champions being knocked out, Haaland getting the boot for the second time this UCL season, Atalanta continuing their cinderella story, and Jose and dem boyz continue their struggles. There was some madness in the Copa Libertadores that led to 8 red cards, and Ronaldinho is playing some prison soccer.

While Preston is starving from a smoothie cleanse, the guys talk about various restaurants which enhances Preston's struggle. On the European front, El Clasico delivered a much needed win for Los Blancos, Sergio sees red, and Barcelona is looking for answers.Another team looking for answers: Liverpool. After losing their first leg in the UCL last 16, the undefeated Reds lost their first Premier League game of the season to relegation fighting Watford 3-0. While they are still Premier League Champions-elect, the quest for an invincible season is dashed. They whipped around the results from the first leg of the last 16 in the UCL, and discuss the Coronavirus outbreak and how that is affecting European football.Lastly, week 1 of the 25th MLS season is complete, and they go through the results and highlight the big moments and big matches of the weekend.

Head to @OTL_pod on Twitter and send us your power tiers of the #UCL16

We just wanted to make it easier to swallow than an hour and 45 minute episode. So you will be getting a double portion this week!

The boys are back after a week hiatus. In case you haven't heard, LSU won the College Football National Championship and Riley was a little preoccupied with the celebrations.Preston did not want to admit that celebrations for his beloved Liverpool FC are on the horizon. This begged the question: Will Liverpool lose this season? The guys had differing opinions.Following a brief table update, Riley and Preston discuss the influx of American talent moving to Europe and asked the question if there is real legs to excitement of our young Nats playing in the top European leagues. They wrapped up the show with a mock XI for the hex, assuming that everyone was healthy, this ensued a formation debate.
