Jacob aka PickManagement killed the midweek slate while Ty was away. Now both guys are back for a special Labor Day Weekend Edition of the MLS Gambling Podcast. This special Sunday slate of the MLS has just two guys but they both should be electric. First, the Philadelphia Union take on the New York Red Bulls who are fighting for their lives to keep their 14-year playoff run alive. The second game, which is what everyone is here for, is the matchup between reigning MLS Champions LAFC and the hottest team in MLS, Lionel Messi's Inter Miami. The guys do a deep dive into both games talking about the predictions, trends, and best bets for each. The MLS Gambling Podcast is one of the fastest-growing podcasts on the SGPN network and in the soccer world overall. One of the reasons why is their stellar game breakdowns. That is crystal clear hear as Ty and Jacob deep dive into the first game between the Philadelphia Union and the New York Red Bulls. The Philadelphia Union is one of the MLS's best home teams and New York is one of Major League Soccer's worst road teams. It's clear they face a tall task here when they take on Philly. The Red Bulls are currently sitting in 12th place in the Eastern Conference, while Philadelphia is sitting comfortably in fourth. The Red Bulls need to make it to 9th place just to reach the play-in game and with under a dozen games left in the regular season, they may not have enough time to make it there. Especially when having to play teams like the Union on the road. The biggest game of the week features reigning MLS Champions, LAFC, and the MLS's hottest team Inter Miami. Lionel Messi will start this game before taking a three-game leave to play for his Argentine national team. Inter Miami just played out a 0-0 home draw versus reigning MVP and Golden Boot winner Hany Muktar and his Nashville SC team. But Nashville has struggled mightily all season on the road while LAFC has been a powerhouse at home. Jacob and Ty break down this game giving you all the stats and info you need to make the best bets to kill your book. Major League Soccer is back in full swing and we couldn't be happier! Both guys, Jacob and Ty, had profitable weeks in the return to regularly scheduled soccer. We all watched in awe over the All-Star break as Messi led Inter Miami to some hardware but will continue in the regular season. The guys also look at some critical scheduling scenarios as a few teams in each conference are riding the razor's edge when it comes to the MLS Playoffs. The guys cover all that and more on today's show. Inter Miami is the first-ever League Cup champions. They dispatched teams left and right, whether Mexican or American, this Miami team was hungry and excited to be playing with Messi. He didn't disappoint his teammates either. Delivering goals, and assists basically at will he did what he was hired to do, win. They played an exciting U.S. Open Cup match against high-flying, first-place Cincinnati. Inter did the seemingly impossible scoring two goals past the 90th-minute mark to force a shootout which they won. Miami now takes on a struggling New York Red Bull team. NY just beat D.C. United 1-0 on Sunday but that kind of play isn't going to be enough versus this red-hot Inter Miami team. The guys give their thoughts on this match and the entire Saturday MLS slate on today's episode. Ty and Jacob have established themselves as two of the sharpest MLS handicappers. They crush slates regularly and this Saturday looks to be no different. You'll know after listening to this week's show just how dialed in these two are. Make sure you follow them on their socials for free plays and more throughout the week. The First Name On The Team Sheet In Nykobing, Starts A New Chapter; a chat w/ Chris ThorsheimChris Thorsheim steps into the 11 this week and shares his journey that saw him become the first name on the team sheet week after week as a foreigner playing in Denmark for Nykobing. It wasn't an easy path to manifest that destiny, disappointment with his homegrown contract for New York Red Bulls, struggling to differentiate himself as a jack of all trades player and the challenges faced living abroad Chris is another example of the determination it takes to become a pro. We also discuss his decision to walk away when he did, a decision that is never easy but has allowed him to start a new chapter in his life. Atlanta United FC draw at home vs a struggling NYCFC. Yes, Atlanta was missing starters due to the International call ups, but Pineda still can't adjust to get the necessary wins at home and his lack of ideas starts with Miguel Berry who continually gets minutes up front. Tyler Wolff get's his goal to minutes ratio up but missed a few sitters. Regardless, Wolff gets into the right positions and gives himself a chance, go Tyler go! The home game against the Red Bulls was down right horrific and should have fans worried for the mid-table position we could see in the fall.

Both the Premier League and MLS saw some incredible matches and shocking results over the weekend! There was great action at the top and bottom of the EPL table over the weekend, but not much changed in terms of positioning. The Cooligans break down all the action from the English top flight and ask if there will be serious ramifications from Ilkay Gundogan's missed penalty. Plus, we analyze Sporting Kansas City's first win of the season and discuss the managerial departures from New York Red Bulls and Chicago Fire. Did Gerhard Struber or Ezra Hendrickson actually leave their club amicably? I think we all know the answer to that one!
