Ange Postecoglou's time at Nottingham Forest is over after just 39 days but that does not mean the problems have gone away. Forest owner Evanglelos Marinakis is in the process of choosing the next manager and it's one he can't afford to get wrong with Sean Dyche poised to be announced on Monday. Fulham manager Marco Silva was also a target and former Italy and Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini had also been heavily touted, however, Fabrizio Romano says he is no longer in the running. Matt Davies is joined by Michael Temple, Pete Blackburn and former Reds defender James Perch to react to Postecoglou's exit and the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea, plus look at what comes next. #nffc #nottinghamforest

Would Forest really Appoint Sean Dyche as the next Nottingham Forest Manager? To Buy Wolfie A Coffee! Click Here: https://buymeacoffee.com/forestfantv In this Forest Fan TV update, Wolfie reacts to the bombshell from tier-one journalist David Ornstein: Sean Dyche is now the favourite to become Nottingham Forest's next boss, just 24 hours after Ange Postecoglou's sacking following a 3-0 loss to Chelsea. With the Reds in 18th and one point above relegation after Ange's record-breaking eight-game stint, Ornstein reports Dyche, ex-Everton survivor, is in advanced talks, pushing Mancini aside. Wolfie unpacks the news amid PSR woes and a looming Porto clash, stunned by the rapid shift. Wolfie's not happy—calling for Dyche "Out" already, with the appointment reeking of desperation after Ange's failed "Angeball." The gritty tactician brings PL survival chops and an English core, but Wolfie fears it'll kill Forest's flair, branding it "relegation insurance" over ambition. He contrasts it with bolder options, urging a rethink in this critical rebuild. Should Forest settle for Dyche's pragmatism or chase Marco Silva, the stylish Fulham boss with a £7m release clause? Wolfie backs Silva's flair and Marinakis link from Olympiacos. What's your take—Dyche or Silva? Who will replace Ange Postecoglou as Nottingham Forest Manager? Check out FFTV Merch! Click Here: https://forestfantv.com/ In the latest Nottingham Forest news update on Forest Fan TV, Wolfie delivers a raw, unfiltered dissection of the bombshell sacking of Ange Postecoglou yesterday, just 24 hours after his "must-win" presser hype ahead of the Chelsea clash. With the Reds rooted in 18th and winless under the Aussie, owner Evangelos Marinakis pulled the trigger amid mounting fan frustration ending Ange's turbulent six-week stint that promised "Angeball" glory but delivered defensive disasters. Wolfie turns the spotlight on the hotly linked candidates vying for the City Ground hot seat, with reports flooding in from Ornstein and beyond. Sean Dyche emerges as the pragmatic choice, fresh from Everton's survival scraps with his no-nonsense grit; Marco Silva, Fulham's stylish tactician, brings Premier League nous and attacking flair after his Cottagers' top-half finish; while Roberto Mancini, the Italian maestro behind Man City's golden era and Inter's treble, offers trophy pedigree but questions over his Saudi sabbatical. Wolfie ranks them head-to-head: Dyche for instant stability, Silva for progression, Mancini for star power—who does Marinakis favour in this high-stakes poker game? Who should Forest appoint next to dodge relegation and spark the Reds' revival? Is it Dyche's bulldog defence, Silva's silky transitions, or Mancini's big-game magic? What is the future of Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest? For Exclusive Content Join FFTV Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ForestFanTV Wolfie breaks down the latest on Ange Postecoglou's status amid massive social media rumours that he's on the verge of being sacked—any day, or even any minute now. With Forest's winless streak hitting seven games, including the 2-0 Newcastle loss, fans are in meltdown, with widespread chatter online amplifying the pressure after "sacked in the morning" chants during the Midtjylland defeat. Wolfie dissects the rumours, noting how outlets like Football Insider and Caught Offside have insiders claiming Ange is "more likely than not" to be relieved of duties soon, with potential replacements like Fulham's Marco Silva in the mix. Fabrizio Romano's update confirms crunch talks with owner Evangelos Marinakis during the international break, but no immediate axe—Ange gets a lifeline with games against Everton and Chelsea to prove his worth, though the likelihood of sacking sits at around 60% if results don't turn by November. Wolfie weighs the board's patience against Ange's defiance, insisting the team is "on the right track" despite the chaos. What do you think of the Ange situation—sack him now, or give him more time to bed in Angeball? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let's debate his future. Nottingham Forest fans are worried about their club and whether Ange Postecoglou is the right man to be manager. In fact plenty want him out after just seven games. The pundits are backing Ange as the likes of Wayne Rooney, Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher say he needs time, while Chris Sutton says Forest fans are entitled. Matt Davies is joined by TNT Sports commentator Adam Summerton and the i paper's chief football writer Daniel Storey to go in depth on the current situation as we ask if not Ange then who? Managers up for discussion include Sean Dyche and Marco Silva but others are assessed too. #nffc #nottinghamforest
Wolfie and the panel are back just hours after Ange Postecoglou's seventh winless game, the 2-0 Premier League defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday, where Bruno Guimarães and Nick Woltemade's goals sealed a comfortable Magpies victory despite Forest's pragmatic defensive setup. With the winless streak now stretching across all competitions, the crew dissects the latest blow—zero shots on target, a toothless attack, and mounting pressure on Ange amid chants of "you're getting sacked in the morning" echoing from the stands. The burning debate: is Evangelos Marinakis about to pull the trigger and sack Ange during the international break, or will he grant more time after their crunch talks? With rumors of Fulham's Marco Silva as a potential replacement and Postecoglou's fiery defiance in the face of speculation, the panel weighs the owner's history of swift changes (like Nuno's dismissal after three games) against the need for patience in Angeball's teething phase. Two goals from Antoine Semenyo and a stunner from Justin Kluivert helped Bournemouth come from 1-0 down to beat Fulham and take second place in the Premier League.Pien Meulensteen is joined on Friday Night Football by Jamie Redknapp and Steve Sidwell to discuss the result, plus hear from Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva.
Marco Silva has overtaken Chris Coleman for longevity in Fulham's dugout, and his tenure for the Cottagers has been nothing short of brilliant. From getting the West London side promoted to making them a mainstay in the Premier League - he has quietly ensured that Fulham fans have never had to look over their shoulder. Despite a rather subdued transfer window, Fulham continue to prevail in the top flight, which begs the question as to whether Silva himself is Tony Khan's best asset... Plus, ahead of the visit of Fulham on Friday night, AFC Bournemouth have lodged a planning application for the enabling works for their expansion of the Vitality Stadium, which the club said is key to achieve the goal of European football by 2030. Our latest Bournemouth Briefing goes over the latest stadium updates, which also confirm that the council has agreed that some critical land in Kings Park, essential for the project, can be transferred to AFC Bournemouth on a lease rather than a freehold transfer as a part of the club's Vitality Stadium expansion plans. Under the lights at the Cottage, Fulham once again proved that derby day belongs to SW6, dismantling Brentford 3-1 in a performance full of grit, guile, and goals. From Iwobi's sharp reactions to cancel out Josh King's early error, to Harry Wilson's trademark strike against his favourite opposition, and a Sessegnon-driven own goal that sealed it before half-time, Marco Silva's unchanged side showed character and quality in equal measure. With Andersen bullying Brentford's attack and spraying passes with ease, and Muniz bringing his usual chaos, the Whites outclassed a Bees team that looked more like Barclays-era Stoke than Premier League high-flyers. Agronejo is a relatively new genre of Brazilian music. It draws on Brazil's ever-popular traditional country music, sertanejo but adds a modern twist adding pop, electronic, funk or hiphop. Crucially agronejo, like sertanejo, celebrates the Brazilian rural and farming lifestyle. The music videos - with farmers in cowboy hats, bling watches, and expensive tractors - are getting millions of views online. Some of the most famous artists are Us Agroboy, Ana Castela, Luan Pereira and DJ Chris no Beat. But critics say the agricultural industry, or “agrobusiness”, is using the genre to sell an idealised vision of the sector and distract from its environmental impact. The musicians and the industry reject this. Marco Silva, a BBC journalist specialising in climate disinformation, who has made a documentary about this, explains the inspiration behind agronejo. We hear some of his interview with Us Agroboy. And we discuss the environmental impact of Brazil's agriculture sector and whether this music gives an accurate portrayal of the industry.Instagram: @bbcwhatintheworld Email: whatintheworld@bbc.co.uk WhatsApp: +44 330 12 33 22 6 Presenter: Hannah Gelbart Producers: Maria Clara Montoya and Julia Ross-Roy Video Journalist: Baldeep Chahal Editor: Verity Wilde

Judging by how often US President Donald Trump has repeated the slogan “Drill, baby, drill”, you might think he coined it. But the phrase actually dates back to 2008. It was at the Republican National Convention that former Maryland Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele first used it, arguing the United States needed to become energy independent. The slogan, the result of what Michael describes as a late-night epiphany, quickly entered the mainstream of American politics - adopted by a range of politicians in the years that followed. He shares his memories of that moment with Marco Silva. This programme contains archive from: C-SPAN, PBS Newshour, Fox News, and CNN.Eye-witness accounts brought to life by archive. Oh Fulham have done it! They've only gone and done it again, come from behind to keep the Bees at bay. Those Jimenez and Cairney headers and a 30 yard screamer from Harry Wilson will write themselves into the annals of Fulham folklore for generations to come. George is joined by Drew, Piers and Jack Kelly to revel in the glory that comes after keeping West London black and white. In part one, they discuss the importance of this derby win for ending the season with not such a sick feeling. They also look at the effectiveness of the substitutions made by Marco Silva, possibly putting such criticisms to bed, and give credit to a star showing from Josh King. In part two, they answer some of your listener questions. Fulham demonstrates yet again that this Silva side is anything but predictable. A dire, shot-starved first-half was turned around by dynamic substitutions and a stoppage time header from Ryan Sess. ESR makes his return to the scoresheet with a deflected shot that tucked its way nicely behind Ramsdale.Elizabeth Barnard takes the reins for a joyous pod line-up of Dan Cooke, Yasmin Mills and Adam Farquharson as they look back on a sunny day on the south coast. They review the successes and failures of a surprising attacking formation from Marco Silva, comment on the hopes of heightened confidence in ESR and sing Sess' praises yet again. In part two, they answer some of your listener questions.
