We thought the Monday after Calf Fry the best day to release the first episode in our new series: the Relationship Podcast. Stuff OSU Should Know spent weeks anonymously surveying our fellow Pokes to learn what they knew, did not know, and wanted to know about navigating relationships as a college student at OSU. For this first pilot episode, we discuss the top three areas of interest or concern among all the students we polled: making the first move, hookup culture, and long term relationships. We all got funny, strange, and unbelievable stories about living in close quarters with someone we barely know, but do you know what systems and resources OSU has in place to deal with situations where roommates have crossed the line? Where is the boundary separating normal-weird roommate behavior from just... NO.? Stuff OSU Should Know conducted an anonymous survey to gather confessions from students about their most intense experiences with roommates. The Stuff OSU Should Know team sampled student opinions and feelings about the inclusivity of dining options on OSU campus, and common complaints were about the lack of viable eating spots for people with food allergies and other dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten- or dairy-free). Hours of operation and long wait times were also mentioned. In Spring 2021, Pearse Nelson, a student enrolled in the class that produces the Stuff OSU Should Know podcast interviewed the teacher of the class, Dr. Seth Wood, about the history and potential future of his unusual course idea. Pearse conducted the interview to fulfill course requirements, and it turned into a long conversation about trends in higher education, the experience of students attending college, and how the Covid-19 pandemic had effected the relationship between the two. This is an excerpt from the beginning of that conversation that describes the teaching philosophy behind the course idea and explains how the unorthodox plan of the class relates to the "add-on" curriculum of the Honors College at OSU. In this episode the SOSK crew interviews students from Professor Ross's Honors Comp service-learning class, who have been working to bring some much needed attention to a new resource on OSU's campus, Pete's Pantry, "a student run initiative that advocates for reducing the amount of food insecurity across our campus and meeting the basic needs of the campus community." We ask them who can use Pete's Pantry (spoiler: everyone), how to use Pete's Pantry, and how it helps create more food security and general wellness for the campus as a whole. Is there a parking problem on campus at Oklahoma State? Okay, yeah. But what's the problem? Whose problem is that? and what can we do about it?These questions lead the team at Stuff OSU Should Know on a research mission to find out more about the apparent imbalance between parking permits sold and parking spots available at OSU. When we finally found the numbers, at the close of the Fall semester (2021), we sat down with OSU Parking Director Steve Spradling to get a better understanding why and how campus parking is a problem and what OSU is doing about it. We hope this will be the first in a series of podcasts about this topic that looks at the issue from a variety of perspectives.

The review starts out by dispelling some myths about Orange Planet and goes on to offer some hacks to make your dining experience here more enjoyable and consistent.
