It was a slow news week, so we decided to chill and have a conversation with our Twitch chat about a range of topics. From Kai Cenat's struggles with mental health to Arc Raiders using AI, we definitely let the conversation flow, unlike other episodes where things are a little more scripted.

After the disaster that was the Streamer Awards, it's good to see a high-quality production Award Show centered around video games. This year was loaded with amazing games, but Clair Obscur Expedition seemed to have a lasting impression on gamers around the world. No matter how people felt about the game, it had the whole industry talking, so it was bound to take home some awards.

The rise of artificial intelligence appears to be progressing at a rapid pace, but as AI grows, it consumes more resources. The surge in demand for RAM by Ai data centers has led to the price of RAM increasing to staggering numbers. This will cause a ripple effect across several industries as the prices of laptops, tablets, and gaming PCs will increase.

Steam announced that its new PC console hybrid will be released in 2026. Besides the release date, no other details were revealed during the announcement video. As far as specs go, Valve claims it will be way more powerful than the Steam Deck. With the current batch of consoles, handhelds, and PC's out now, where will the Steam Machine fit?

Grand Theft Auto was delayed again, and to be honest, we weren't necessarily surprised. What was interesting was the rumors of why it was delayed. Some sources claim that the game is complete, but Rockstar wants to ensure that everything functions as intended. Other news sources claim that union-busting could be the cause of the delay.

Microsoft is putting the squeeze on Xbox to produce what most are calling an unattainable profit margin. The industry average is between 17-22 percent, but Microsoft CFO Amy Hood wants them to hit 30 percent. On this episode, we do some number crunching of our own to see how the hell this is possible with all the self-sabotaging Xbox has been doing lately!

We never thought Ai would make it this far, but we also never thought we would see Halo on PlayStation 5, and yet here we are! Next year, PlayStation fans will be introduced to the Master Chief himself, but considering this is just a story mode campaign with no multiplayer, will anyone care to even give it a try?

Battlefield 6 is here, and so far, it's doing very well. The hype from the Beta has seemed to carry over to the release, but only a fool would count Call of Duty out. Both of these franchises have been around for quite some time, with each gaining a loyal fanbase. With Call of Duty dropping annually, they somehow always manage to captivate the audience and get them excited for a new release, no matter how mediocre the game is, until now.

Xbox Game Pass seems to be taking steps in the wrong direction. Around a year ago, it seemed like Game Pass and Xbox were headed in the right direction, but with the back-to-back price hikes on the Series X and Game Pass, people are saying it's over for Xbox. Tell us in the comments, will you guys be getting rid of your Game Pass now that the price has increased???

This State of Play gave us a glimpse into what we can expect for 2026, and it seems like we are in for another great year of gaming! We discussed a few games that we're interested in, including Wolverine. Wolverine looks great, but what we didn't expect was the level of gore and violence that was shown.

Borderlands 4 is the game that we've all been waiting for. Unfortunately, the game has various issues on all consoles, including PC, which is making it damn near unplayable. Meanwhile, the CEO of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford has been online defending Borderlands lackluster launch tooth and nail. Also, we have an in-depth conversation about Nintendo Mafia.

While DC has just discovered the greatness that is Hollow Knight, he now understands the hype behind the sequel, Silk Song, which has just been released. Another game that seems to have Darius excited is the new James Bond game, which heavily draws cues from the Hitman series. The game seems to have a good mixture of action, stealth, and problem-solving as you make your way through each mission.

Well, it seems as though Battlefield 6 has made quite an impression on gamers around the world. Could it be that people are yearning for an experience outside of the Call of Duty universe? With this installment of Black Ops 7, the franchise feels like it's finally jumped the shark and is not sure where to land. The campaign trailer left very little to be excited about, and the small pieces of multiplayer shown looked like things we've all seen before. Should Call of Duty be worried?

View-botting has become another hurdle for Twitch to overcome, and Dan Clancy isn't taking this issue lying down. Dan is leading the charge on taking a stand against the fake numbers. This issue has been around for a while, but now that it is more severe, it's undermining the very foundation of influencer marketing. So let the war begin!

As people become more frugal with their spending, hobbies are more than likely the first thing people cut back on. With games looking to increase their prices, people are starting to reconsider their purchases, or wait to catch it on sale. Outer Worlds 2 sent folks into an uproar when the price was announced. It was so bad that they changed it back to the original price. So, what does this mean for the gaming industry moving forward? Will studios stick to the price increase, or will they revert to the old prices if put under pressure by the consumers?

With Assassin's Creed Shadow sales numbers still a mystery, it's obvious that Ubisoft might be in some trouble. Investors are becoming very vocal with their concerns and direction of the company. Some are even suggesting a company restructuring. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has plans to focus on Ubisoft's Big 3 (Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, and Far Cry) to turn things around for the studio, but will this be enough?

Ghost of Yotei is the highly anticipated follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima. The Ghost series is a perfect blend of samurai action set against Japan's most beautiful backdrops. Yotei, our new protagonist, has some big kegutsu's to fill, and from what was shown at the Ghost of Yotei showcase, it looks like that won't be a problem.

Microsoft has done it again....MORE LAYOFFS!!!!!!!!!!! We don't enjoy reporting on these topics, but we believe that it is important to do so. Even though the layoffs were throughout Microsoft, a majority of the people let go came from the gaming division, which has left many people confused, considering how Xbox Game Studios acquired so many studios.

The future of the gaming industry gleams with promise but also uncertainty. Even though we are seeing a solid number of great games released, studios are still struggling to make sense of the best ways to monetize their games without angering the consumer.

Now that we have more information about the ROG XBOX ALLY, we can discuss this piece of hardware honestly. We have a good variety of handhelds out, including the New Nintendo Switch 2 but something about the ROG ALLY feels different. As we break down the specs, we begin to realize that this isn't your typical handheld.

The PlayStation State of Play dropped a few exciting games, but there was one game that caught everyone's attention. Arc System Works and Marvel Games have somehow created a fighting game right under our noses with no leaks until now! Arc System Works has a pristine reputation for creating top-tier fighting games, so everyone is excited to see what they do with a roster of Marvel characters.

The future is here; either you adapt to the changes or get lost in the sauce. With the evolution of Ai and at the rate it's growing, it seems like everything we do will somehow be affected by it. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a game that could easily leave its mark on the industry but due to the large amount of bugs that plague the game it seems like that won't be the case. Now considering during the end of this game development cycle the developers were dealing with a real-life war we couldn't help but cut them some slack. Stalker 2 also doesn't pull any punches even on its easiest difficulty setting the game can be very difficult. So for those who like a challenge and exploration, this game might be worth a try even though I'd recommend waiting for them to fix it up. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is finally here and even though it has flaws it's pretty good for the most part. Every mode seems worth playing but where the real fun lies is within the multiplayer. During the Halo World Championships, 343 Industries announced it was officially changing its name to Halo Studios. The company revealed that it will be working on multiple games using Unreal Engine 5 instead of the Slipspace Engine they've used in the past. Ubisoft has had a very turbulent year which isn't what they had planned considering 2024 was supposed to be a rebound year for the studio. After the mediocre release of a few games that were supposed to become big earners for the studio things began to look a little shaking and then you had the release of Star Wars Outlaws which a majority of the gaming community considered a big disappointment. So now the top brass is considering taking drastic measures to keep the studio afloat. If Assassins Creed doesn't hit its intended target we might be witnessing the downfall of one of the top studios in the game. Do you guys have any ideas on how Ubisoft can save itself from folding???
