Der Pandemie zum Trotz ging bis eben die E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2021 über die – rein digitale – Bühne. Wir haben die Messe verfolgt und waren ernüchtert: Die allermeisten Ankündigungen liessen uns völlig kalt. Obwohl wir uns immerhin auf eine Handvoll Spiele freuen, müssen wir ehrlich sein und fragen, wo die einstige Begeisterung geblieben ist.

Aller guten Dinge sind drei und heute sogar im doppelten Sinne! Es ist unsere dritte Extended Version mit einer epischen Länge von einerstundesiebenunddreißig und sie ist bis zum Anschlag vollgepackt mit den Highlights, Lowlights und honorable Mentions der E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo). This week the Fife friends are just a trio and so have a chat about the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) and what their highlights have been from the press conferences of the big names in Video Games. The friends also chat about the windy weather and how a tree fell down in Dunfermline town. Moving on from that sad news the friends have a natter about the SNP Walkout in Westminster this week and if it actually means anything. Finally they take a trip to the Nonagon for a Fantasy Fight Club with a World Cuisine/World Cup Theme. E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is like Christmas for the world of video games. That is, if Christmas was a time for watching videos about presents that you might get someday, possibly months or years into the future. And if you like to spend Christmas talking about your hopes and fears for what those presents will be like.

Attention all Nintendo nerds! As most of you may know another E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) has come and gone and it feels good to be a Nintendo fan. E3 is the time of year when video game companies such as Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft are given the chance to announce and showcase their upcoming projects. This was a big year for the company that has brought us such characters as Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Samus, and Pikachu. With the Nintendo Switch now released upon the world and the 3DS running strong, Nintendo pulled out all the stops to announce a slue of new games for some of our favorite franchises. Although containing an unfortunate absence from Trio Simpatico's own Josh Witsaman, David Tavolier sits down with former Nintendo guest of the show, David Wester, for a quick chat about the latest news and announcements in regards to the company that has won our love (and money) for years.

After a brief pinball segment (minor news updates regarding Heighway Pinball and Dutch Pinball), Dennis and Tony are joined by a roundtable (Mike, Eric, and Jake) to talk all about E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017).
