Season 2 Episode 4 is all about the intention we put behind our personal narratives and the actual way we say "thank you". Gratitude is an important part of living mindfully because when people practice gratitude and seek to “live gratefully” they are not worried about not having enough, are more accepting of others' differences, and less likely to act violently/in anger. I have come across studies that show when individuals regularly practice/express gratitude in a meaningful way, the pleasure centers in their brain are more active, their brains create more grey matter (which is helps to process information, improve memory, and better regulate emotions) , and cortisol production decreases (AKA less stress). Gratitude is an important part of living mindfully because when people practice gratitude and seek to “live gratefully” they are not worried about not having enough, are more accepting of others' differences, and less likely to act violently/in anger. Season 2 Episode 2 is all about SAYING THANKS MORE! I am giving you 20 minutes of gratitude information and talking about how you can implement mindfulness practices and why it is so important to live gratefully! Over the last 5 years I have seen the power of regularly practicing gratitude help myself and others build self confidence, meet goals, and find excitement for everyday life. Two years ago I was inspired to create a gratitude journal to help others build consistent gratitude/mindfulness routines. It is a common misconception that you have to be “happy” in order to be “grateful”. It is actually the other way around. I am passionate about supporting the “frontliners” during our current pandemic to utilize the mindful practice of gratitude in order to protect their mental health and prevent or combat burnout (teachers, service providers, healthcare professionals, etc.) Special offer: Use code PODCAST15 for 15% off your Say Thanks More Journal Get in contact with me at www.thanksmorris.com Or on instagram @thanksmorris
