In this episode, I speak with Xin from Sign Global, a company building sovereign blockchain infrastructure for governments — from national stablecoins and CBDCs to digital identity and real-world asset systems.Xin explains why crypto struggles to reach real adoption: we build great tech but rarely solve problems for banks, regulators, or everyday users. Sign Global works directly with governments to modernize payments, identity, and asset rails — aiming to cut international settlement from 1–3 days to 2 minutes and unlock massive economic velocity. We discuss global stablecoin trends, why USD stablecoins won't dominate long term, how sovereign digital ID actually works, and why countries like Kazakhstan and the UAE are moving fastest.A rare, practical look at the future of national-scale blockchain systems.(Nothing here is financial advice.)Key timestamps[00:00:00] Cold Open: Xin on why crypto people don't talk to the real world [00:01:00] Intro: Sam introduces Xin and Sign Global's mission for sovereign infrastructure [00:03:00] Origin Story: Mining, hardware, VC and founding Sign in 2021 [00:05:00] From App to Nations: Pivoting from Web3 contract signing to CBDCs and stablecoins[00:08:00] Crypto vs Real World: Why good tech without real users doesn't create value [00:11:00] Digital ID: Sovereign credentials vs centralized government databases that keep getting hacked [00:15:00] Progressive States: Kazakhstan, UAE and how ambitious governments think about crypto [00:19:00] Future of Stablecoins: Why Xin believes stablecoins win but USD stablecoins won't dominate everyday money [00:24:00] Tokenizing Nations: Governments as gatekeepers for fiat, oil, land and RWA on-chain [00:30:00] Business Model: From government infra contracts to global payment rails [00:33:00] Bandwidth of Money: 1–3 day SWIFT vs 2-minute settlement and the impact on global GDP [00:34:00] Roadmap & Ask: 25+ countries, global payment network and who Xin wants to work withConnecthttps://sign.global/https://www.linkedin.com/company/ethsign/https://www.linkedin.com/in/xin-yan-658545172/https://x.com/ethsignhttps://x.com/realyanxinDisclaimerNothing mentioned in this podcast is investment advice and please do your own research. Gustavo Zilberberg, CEO of Vitalcy, visits the SnapCast to introduce the company as a web-based platform that helps nonprofits build long-term financial stability by re-engaging and maintaining relationships with their community of supporters, including former members, staff, volunteers, and donors. Key takeaways: Nonprofits Are Leaving Support on the Table Vitalcy's mission is to help organizations reconnect with the huge pool of former staff, volunteers, donors, and program participants who often fall out of touch simply because teams don't have the bandwidth to engage them consistently. Bandwidth, Not Intent, Is the Problem Gustavo stresses that nonprofits want to steward these relationships, but day-to-day pressures keep them focused on immediate needs. Vitalcy automates the re-engagement process so this important work doesn't get deprioritized. The Sector Has Become Too Transactional Fundraising often centers on asking for money rather than building lasting relationships. Vitalcy flips that model by cultivating community, mission alignment, and long-term loyalty—ultimately driving more predictable, recurring revenue. AI-Powered Content Keeps Supporters Connected The platform scrapes publicly available material, digitizes historical content, and uses AI (with nonprofit approval) to generate ongoing stories and updates that make supporters feel seen, remembered, and part of the mission. Subscription Pricing with Strong ROI Vitalcy charges a monthly subscription fee scaled to organizational size. One client—a summer camp—tripled its annual donations after using Vitalcy to re-engage its broader alumni community. Built for Long-Term Stability, Not Quick Wins Gustavo frames Vitalcy as infrastructure: a way for nonprofits to build durable financial health through consistent stewardship and relationship-building. He invites organizations to reach out and explore what the platform can do for them. We welcome support of the Nonprofit SnapCast via Patreon. Every podcaster wants the same thing: a podcast that grows quickly, without eating more of your time, draining your energy, or demanding a marketing budget you don't have. The truth? There's no single “fastest way” to grow your show. If there were, every podcast would already be successful, and you wouldn't still be asking this question. But there IS a repeatable podcast marketing system that makes growth not only possible, but also predictable. In this episode, I'm giving you podcast advice straight from the trenches as I tackle three listener questions that circle the same theme: how do you grow fast in podcasting without burning out or wasting time on marketing you hate. So if you're ready to trade quick-fix gimmicks for a marketing system that gets more listeners tuning in every week (and keeps your sanity intact), hit play and let's dive in.0:58 – Why There's No “One-Size-Fits-All” Podcast Growth Strategy 4:12 – The 90-Day Podcast Marketing Cycle That Turns Experiments Into Results 7:35 – The Podcast Growth Metric That Reveals if Your Show is Truly Working 15:49 – How to Pick Marketing Tactics That Match Your Unique Budget and Bandwidth 20:04 – How to Stop Relying on Luck and Start Creating Predictable Podcast GrowthOther Episodes You'll Love:What Spotify's New Tools Mean For Your Podcast GrowthThe 5 Podcasting Metrics No One's Teaching (That Actually Tell You If Your Show is Growing)→ This episode was recorded on the Deity VO-7USupport the showLiked this episode? Do you ever feel like you're holding it all together on the outside—but underneath, you're simmering? You're not losing your mind. You're likely holding unprocessed anger. In this episode, we're diving into one of the most misunderstood emotions—especially for women: anger. For years, I didn't even realize I was angry. I told myself I was “fine,” “chill,” “rational.” But under all that composure was a nervous system running on tension and suppressed emotion. And here's the truth: when anger isn't processed, it doesn't disappear—it just leaks out as resentment, irritability, control, or passive aggression. You'll learn: ✔️ The neuroscience of anger—what's happening in your brain and body when you suppress versus express it ✔️ How unprocessed anger quietly drains your energy, shrinks your window of tolerance, and impacts your relationships ✔️ The four ways suppressed anger most commonly shows up (and how to spot them) ✔️ Practical, body-based ways to process and release anger safely—from movement and sound to prayer and breathwork
Ever felt so stressed about money that you couldn't think straight? Science shows that's not just a feeling—it's a measurable reality. New research reveals that the chronic stress of poverty acts like a "bandwidth tax" on the brain, reducing cognitive performance by as much as losing a full night's sleep. This hidden burden impacts everything from memory to self-control, making it incredibly difficult to make the "good decisions" needed to escape the poverty trap. This isn't about willpower; it's about neuroscience. Our latest article dives into the fascinating and crucial science of how poverty rewires the brain. In this episode, I'm coming to you from my bedroom—sometimes you just need a quiet space when the house is full of teenagers! I hadn't planned to record today, but a powerful question landed in my Instagram DMs that I knew so many of you would relate to: “What's the one thing every woman in business needs to hear right now?” I dive deep into the realities of running a business as a woman, especially when you're already “successful” by traditional standards but still feel overwhelmed, tired, and unsure how to grow without burning out. I share my own journey—how hustle and saying yes to everything got me started, but how strategy, systems, and honoring my own rhythms have been the real keys to sustainable growth and recurring revenue. Key Moments: The difference between capacity and business model—and how to know which one is holding you back Why you need permission to build your business differently (and how I had to give that to myself) The importance of energy and cyclical awareness in time management, especially for women balancing business, motherhood, and life How recurring revenue and strong systems can help you break free from the feast-or-famine cycle The myth of “doing it all” and why building a business that doesn't depend solely on you is essential for growth and well-being The value of mentorship, community, and learning from others' experiences Let's dive in! J Gulinello is in the studio tonight and we were going to have another guest but that didn't pan out...maybe we'll get another chance at that conversation some other time though. In the meanwhile we improvised ourselves a great time with a number of topic changes. from J's reaction to the petty New Yorker Magazine's thoughts on physical fitness standards for American children to Frank's first genius stock trades in college. Calls were great, the updates on the upcoming Jamboree were great, and extra innings on Pilled.net was hilarious as well, don't miss it! Over the past two decades, the semiconductor industry has successfully pushed the limits to deliver more raw compute. A wild success, really. A 2025 Nvidia B200 GPU has 178,000 times more Floating Point Operations Per Second, or FLOPs than a top-of-the-line Intel CPU in the late 1990s. Unfortunately, we don't fully benefit thanks to limits - or "walls", so to say - that keep us from taking full advantage of all that new raw power. One such wall is the memory wall - where semiconductor memories like DRAM have not scaled as fast as the compute has. I have covered this before. But in recent years, another bottleneck has presented itself: One relating to IO bandwidth. In response, the industry has been working on a silicon photonic solution. In today's video, we talk about a technology trend that has been over a decade in the making: Co-packaged optics.

Some bandwidth-hogging situations are temporary, some are more this-is-how-it-is. Some are for positive reasons, some distinctly less so. Whatever the cause, when one kid takes up all your parenting bandwidth, it's hard for the rest of the family not to be affected as well. In this conversation, we explore: The many ways our bandwidth can feel inconsistently applied Strategies for recalibrating the family ecosystem Why awareness, honesty, and small course corrections matter Whether you're navigating chronic illness, disruptive behavior, or the demands of elite youth sports, this episode is here to help you name it, understand it, and—most importantly—not feel alone. A long-distance romance seems harmless—until late-night Skype calls unleash something neither screen can contain. From chairs creaking on camera and water bottles squeezing themselves, to unseen hands ripping sheets off a sleeping girlfriend 2,000 miles away, every click of the microphone feeds a presence that stalks both sides of the call. Is it the incubus she once met as a child, the spirit of her late father, or a darkness that piggy-backed through pixels when the couple traded ghost stories? This episode explores whether the modern web can carry an ancient curse, and what happens when “logging off” isn't enough. Your business needs to be designed with your bandwidth in mind so that you're capable of doing it in every season! You have other priorities outside of business, and I want to help you design a business with your capacity in mind. I want you to ignore society and other business gurus when they tell you how much bandwidth you need to have for your business, and instead, I want you to design it around you! I think there's a misconception that designing a business around bandwidth limits your capacity for growth, but that's not true – bandwidth can change! Capability doesn't equal sustainability, and while there are always things you can handle doing for a short period of time, sustaining them is tricky. It's so easy to want to say yes to more. I get the appeal, and I also know that you don't have to do everything! Your business is not meant to be something you have to fight, it's meant to be something that supports you and provides you with the flexibility that traditional jobs don't. Throughout this episode, I want you to consider choosing sustainability over survival and say no to hustle culture! Let's dive in.
