Matt Cooke said it was very important to know where opponents were on the ice to avoid an injury. Shawn Thornton is the toughest guy Cooke has ever fought. There was a wanted poster in a Boston newspaper with Matt Cooke's face on it and three security guys had to help protect him. Cooke wanted to make sure nothing happened to Sid or Geno.

The Jordan Staal, Matt Cooke, Tyler Kennedy line was a line that controlled games when they were on the ice and Staal was huge for the line scoring. Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. TK said he would sign up for the Penguins being the worst team in hockey if it meant Gavin McKenna was on the roster this time next year. Is it more beneficial for McKenna to play in college, like he's doing at Penn State, or junior hockey? Tyler thinks we will be pleasantly surprised by how this team performs this season, giving credit to Dan Muse for a different voice in charge. TK believes multiple stars will be on the move at the trade deadline – Evgeni Malkin, Bryan Rust and Rickard Rakell. He thinks Geno would be willing to waive his no-movement clause to play for the Florida Panthers.

Joe included Sidney Crosby, Ben Roethlisberger, Evgeni Malkin, Andrew McCutchen, Troy Polamalu. McCutchen is one of only three players in Pittsburgh this century to win an MVP. Malkin won Rookie of the Year, MVP, two scoring titles, playoff MVP, and three Stanley Cups. Mario Lemieux is the only other Pittsburgh sports athlete to win Rookie of the Year, MVP, and playoff MVP.

After reports about Evgeni Malkin considering retirement, Adam Crowley wonders how beneficial it would be if the Steelers were to trade him sometime before next season.

It was reported that Evgeni Malkin will be playing his last year as a Pittsburgh Penguin. Poni says thank you for the years of service and championships, but it is okay that the Penguins want to move on. Poni says it won't make him sick to see him in another jersey.

Rob Rossi joins the program. What does Rob think about the Josh Yohe report about Malkin leaving Pittsburgh after this season. He says that not only will Malkin leave, but so will Alex Ovechkin back to Russia.
