BREAKING - The Pirates have extended manager Don Kelly. Kelly went 59-65 with the Pirates as manager. Marc-Andre Fleury played his final game in Pittsburgh on Saturday and made eight save, not allowing a goal. This is Evgeni Malkin's last year in Pittsburgh, more than likely. This will be a farewell tour as the Fleury game on Saturday started it off.

Tyler Kennedy will be at PPG Paints Arena for Fleury's return. The NHL is expanding to 84 games. TK said he felt so good in camp with the Penguins because they played so late into the season that he didn't have a lot of rust. Now at 84 games, TK said he wouldn't be surprised at all to see players out with load management. Is this Evgeni Malkin's last year?

In this edition of NHL Wraparound's Summer Coolers, Neil Smith and Vic Morren dive into one of the NHL's most iconic yet most uncertain franchises: the Pittsburgh Penguins.For the fourth straight season, the Penguins look like they'll miss the playoffs—despite having Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, and Erik Karlsson still on the roster. With rookie head coach Dan Muse taking the reins from Mike Sullivan (now in New York), the team seems more focused on riding out legacies than chasing another Stanley Cup.Is this the year that Crosby finally waves the towel and requests a trade?

It seems like there is a better chance now than ever before than the Penguins could trade Sidney Crosby. This time the messaging is coming from his agent and nothing from a writer or reporter. How would you feel about this? The guys think Crosby has given so much to the Penguins on and off the ice that it should be his prerogative to get moved. What does the future of this team look like with Kyle Dubas in charge? Poni tried to get a big guest on the show. Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. Tyler doesn't think Sidney Crosby had any push in his agent mentioning a trade is always on the table. TK said Sid has way too much respect for the city and organization. TK shares how Evgeni Malkin fought Craig Adams at practice. Sidney Crosby pulled TK aside after a game when Sid wanted the puck in the last five minutes and Crosby had a personable, good conversation that stuck with him. "There's no better town in the USA to be a sports athlete than Pittsburgh."

It's been very quiet with the Penguins. TK thinks Gavin McKenna is "a game changer." But it would be a rough season if the Penguins get rid of Bryan Rust or Rickard Rakell. Kyle Dubas thinks Evgeni Malkin might be the most underrated player in NHL history.
