November 17, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 51 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 11 Sunday afternoon home win against the Cincinnati Bengals. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday afternoon inactive list and the few transactions the team has made since our Friday show. Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers sustained a left wrist injury late in the first half of the Sunday game against the Bengals and it resulted in him leaving the contest at halftime. Alex and I discuss the latest reports concerning that injury and whether Rodgers will ultimately miss a game or more as a result of it. Sunday's game included Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase spitting on Steelers S Jalen Ramsey, and it resulted in the former being ejected from that contest due to him throwing a punch. We discuss how Chase lied after the game about spitting on Ramsey and whether he or Ramsey will be suspended for any future games. We talk about Ramsey's reaction to getting spit on and how such an act is unforgivable. After going through the newsy items related to Sunday's game, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Acrisure Stadium. We talk first about the play of the Steelers defense on Sunday and that includes us discussing the individual performances of several players. We talk about Chase being limited in the passing game, Bengals QB Joe Flacco holding the football longer, and obviously the two key takeaways for scores that were registered during the second half. Steelers CB James Pierre continues to play well on Sunday, so we discuss how he deserves to play ahead of CB Darius Slay moving forward. We also discuss the bad penalty called on Steelers OLB T.J. Watt on Sunday. After discussing the play of the Steelers defense against the Bengals, Alex and I then do the same when it comes to Pittsburgh's offense. We talk a lot about how QB Mason Rudolph played in the second half and how RB Kenneth Gainwell and TE Darnell Washington made a few game-changing plays during the contest as well. We discuss the role yards after the catch played in Pittsburg's win over the Bengals and we make sure to hit on a few snap counts from that contest on that side of the football. The Steelers converted a few key third downs on offense on Sunday so we make sure to talk about that. We make sure to point out that the Steelers offense really only had two offensive possessions in the second half of Sunday's game. Alex and I provide a few thoughts on Pittsburgh's special teams play on Sunday and that includes us focusing in on one punt return that WR Calvin Austin III had in that contest. This 114-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. NFL Week 11 delivered chaos across the league. Ray & JRich react to Bryce Young's 448-yard OT masterpiece vs the Falcons, the Broncos stunning the Chiefs at the buzzer, the Eagles' defense clamping the Lions, and the 49ers getting Brock Purdy and the offense rolling again against Arizona. We also dive into Shedeur Sanders' high-pressure debut in Cleveland vs the Ravens, Josh Allen's six-touchdown shootout vs the Bucs, the Texans' defense grinding out another win, Steelers–Bengals and the Aaron Rodgers injury fallout, plus what Bears–Vikings, Packers–Giants, Jags–Chargers and Dolphins–Commanders mean for the playoff race and your fantasy squads. On the Monday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Ray Fittipaldo react to the NFL Week 11 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. Can Mason Rudolph handle the job of starting QB for OC Arthur Smith if he's forced to play more amid Aaron Rodgers' injury? How did his connection with receivers including DK Metcalf, Calvin Austin III, Roman Wilson, Darnell Washington, Jonnu Smith and Pat Freiermuth look? And what's the latest we know about Rodgers' injury that kept him out of the second half Sunday? Our duo tackles those questions, then pivots to the defense. Has coach Mike Tomlin solved the unit's biggest problem? Why were Jalen Ramsey, Joey Porter Jr., Kyle Dugger and James Pierre able to have so much success against Joe Flacco, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins compared to a month ago, when that trio dominated the defense in Cincinnati? And how did good work on the back end help guys up front including T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward, Nick Herbig, Keeanu Benton and others? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Gerry Dulac and Ray Fittipaldo react to the team's NFL Week 11 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals at Acrisure Stadium. They detail strong efforts in relief by Mason Rudolph and Kenneth Gainwell, who filled in for Aaron Rodgers and Jaylen Warren amid their respective injuries; standout defensive performances from James Pierre and Kyle Dugger, who both scored defensive touchdowns; and the defense's success in limiting Joe Flacco, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, who dominated in the first meeting with the Steelers a few weeks ago. They also offer the latest new on Rodgers' injury and Jalen Ramsey's claims that Chase spit on him, leading to Ramsey's ejection in the second half. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. November 14, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 50 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon at Acrisure Stadium Alex and I start this show off by looking at the Thursday injury report released by the Steelers. We discuss the few players to watch closely on the Friday report and whether CB Darius Slay will be able to play on Sunday due to him being in concussion protocol this week. Will WR Ke'Shawn Williams be active again this weekend as a returner? If he isn't, will rookie RB Kaleb Johnson be given another chance to return kickoffs? We address both of those questions early in this show. Alex and I also discuss the possibilities of both WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling and CB Asante Samuel Jr. being elevated from the practice squad on Saturday. On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. While not a lot of pertinent information came out of those two media sessions, we address a few of the things both of the coordinators said. We welcome Jay Morrison of Sports Illustrated back to the show on Friday, and he helps us preview the Steelers-Bengals game. Morrison has covered the Bengals for many seasons, and nobody knows that team better than he does. I get his thoughts on several things related to the Sunday afternoon game in Pittsburgh. Jay fills us in on the Bengals' injuries, how QB Joe Flacco has fit in on offense the last several weeks, and the state of the Cincinnati locker room on the heels of their last two losses prior to bye week. Jay talks about the Bengals' offense and defense quite a bit in this interview, and we get his score prediction for the Sunday game at the end of the interview. If not already doing so, make sure to follow Jay on X/Twitter at @ByJayMorrison and make sure to read his work here: https://www.bengalstalk.com. After finishing with Morrison, Alex and I provide our own preview of the Steelers-Bengals game. We break down what we are looking for out of each team on both sides of the football Sunday afternoon. Alex and I then give our picks against the spread for the remainder of the Week 11 NFL games provided by show sponsor MyBookie.ag. We also give our final score predictions for the Steelers-Bengals game. This 108-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted above and we end this episode by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Gerry Dulac and Ray Fittipaldo recap the Steelers' NFL Week 7 loss against the AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. Why were the Bengals' Joe Flacco, Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase able to have so much success against Jalen Ramsey, Darius Slay Jr., Joey Porter Jr., DeShon Elliott and the Steelers' vaunted secondary? How did Bengals RB Chase Brown pile up over 100 yards against a Steelers defensive front that includes Cam Heyward, Derrick Harmon, Keeanu Benton, Patrick Queen and Payton Wilson? And where does coach Mike Tomlin's defense stand moving forward? Our duo tackles those questions plus and up-and-down night for Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf, Pat Freiermuth, Darnell Washington, Jaylen Warren, Roman Wilson and the Steelers offense that piled up points but also committed some costly errors. On the Friday episode of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Brian Batko react to the team's NFL Week 7 loss to the AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. Why were Jalen Ramsey, Joey Porter Jr., Darius Slay Jr., DeShon Elliott and the Steelers' secondary so bad in many coverage against the Bengals' passing attack led by Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Joe Flacco? Were expectations that coach Mike Tomlin's secondary would thrive in one-on-one situations misplaced? Or is this still an area where DC Teryl Austin can generate success against less potent pass games? And where do Cam Heyward, T.J. Watt, Nick Herbig, Alex Highsmith, Keeanu Benton, Derrick Harmon and the pass rush fit into the situation? Our duo tackles those questions and ponder whether this was a loss to panic over or just a bump in the road over the course of a long season. Especially considering the way Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf, Jaylen Warren and the offense were able to generate points to keep the Steelers in the game. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Trey Hendrickson is considered a longshot to play tonight. Jaylen Warren is a tough, physical runner. Mason McCormick is pushing people around up front. Chris Hoke says it will be 24-20 Steelers and Jaylen Warren is the MVP. It's time Warren has a big game!
About 3 hours until Steelers-Bengals in Cincy. Poni said he is breaking one of his biggest rules as he makes note that every single person on NFL Live picked the Steelers. What are the Bengals good at? Not much – and their best defensive player is now out as Trey Hendrickson will miss the game. Even with everyone picking the Steelers, Poni can't bring himself to pick against them in this game. Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray wouldn't be surprised if Jalen Ramsey has a limitation in his snap count due to the short week. Ray noted the 17 sacks in the last 3 games and how important the pass rush will be against Joe Flacco. Ray said the Steelers corners provide some matchups with Bengals WRs that are ‘good for football.' Ray likes the defensive wrinkles the Steelers have thrown in the last few weeks and explained why it brings him back to the Blitzburgh days. Ray doesn't see any reason why the Steelers should go away from the jumbo package with Darnell Washington and Spencer Anderson. He wondered if we will see any more creativity from that set. Is there any chance this game ends up in a shootout? Ray feels like the division is not lost tonight if the Steelers don't win the game Total Request Thursday.
Are you worried about this game because of the record under Mike Tomlin in this spot? What can the Steelers do best to combat Joe Flacco? Would this be a ‘Tomlin game' if the Steelers don't get it done? Poni doesn't think it should count as one since it's a game in the AFC North. NFL color analyst Ross Tucker joined the show. Ross will have the headset on tonight for Westwood One. Ross gave Poni a hard time and then told the guys he loves Donny's accent. The guys joked about church services being lenient when it comes to big Steelers games. Ross admitted that he's not really sure what the Bengals are doing. Ross gave a breakdown of the ‘Tuck Spreads' phenomenon, which he shares every time he covers a game. Who will have the big game tonight in a winning effort? Ross said to look out for Jaylen Warren. Donny Football Debrief – We reacted to the Curt Cignetti news, as he signed a massive extension to stay at Indiana. And Mullsy had to pick the Steelers-Bengals game!

Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Gerry Dulac and Ray Fittipaldo report from the Steelers practice facility after Tuesday's practice leading up to the team's "Thursday Night Football" matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. What can we expect from the Steelers defense, which went out and got defensive backs like Jalen Ramsey and Darius Slay Jr. to pair with Joey Porter Jr. and take on guys like Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins? What does it say about that unit's depth that they may be able to move guys around and use in different matchups and coverages? What can we expect from Joe Flacco, a player who's very familiar with the Steelers and actually beat Pittsburgh last season as a member of the Indianapolis Colts? Will pass rushers like T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith and Nick Herbig be able to get after him because of his lack of mobility? Or will his still elite arm strength pose a problem? Our duo answers those questions and more.
