Etchie hosts a podcast of people telling their stories, interests and beliefs. Anything, really. Served up a Tidbit at a time.
Etchie talks about the time his arm was pulverized in a head on collision at 18. This is a second release, because upon inital release, only half of the episode played. This is the release of the entire episode. Still not sure how this happened.
Aaron tells Etchie and Lesley about his experience going to the Pro Bowl.
Lesley and Etchie discuss the growing popularity of officer bodycam videos and refect on their own experiences with cops.
Salty Aaron tells Etchie about ending up at a televised tennis match.
When does positivity become too much, and when does it become toxic? Do you know anyone like this?
Lesley tells Etchie what football means to her, since we both live with my sister, who is a huge football fan.
I talk about my ears getting blocked up and Lelsey has a conversation with Salty Aaron about Ryan Seacrest's kid.
Etchie talks about his dirty little secret about watching fighting matches.
We talk with our friend Aaron about visits to Buc-ee's, and he tells us about the L&L Tavern in Chicago.
Lesley and Etchie discuss the vacations they've had throughout their life, and time flies, so we're going to continue this discussion another episode!
We see our friend, Jphn Hannan, producer for "Funny to Informing" for the first time in a VERY long time! A lot of random fun crap was duscussed in this episode. FUN FACT: Funny to Informing was originally recorded in Lesley's living room
We went out for dinner for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and Just about everything Etchie ate, he was eating for the time.
This episode we primarily discuss something Etchie read about a dog napping incident. IT's a pretty wild story.
I know it's been a long time, but we're back! This episode is about my hospitalization. I talk about what I remember and Lesley fills in the blanks. There are a lot of blanks. This is especially true when she talks about the 2 1/2 weeks that I was in a coma. We packed as much as we could but there were many details that didn't make it.
We are excited to have Daytona Beach legends Kevin Tibbert and Andre Dahlen in the studio, and this is another episode with one of our few content disclaimers, because these dudes like cats and hard drugs and they know how to make people laugh. Be sure to check out Tir na nog in Daytona Beach, they are celebrating 12 years of comedy on April 16 at 11pm. If you're in Deland on April 16, stop by Abbey Bar at 9pm to see Chris Buck and some hilarious up and comers to the comedy scene. On April 21, Kevin Tibbert and Sabrina Ambra from The News Junkie will be breaking the outdoor ceiling with comedy at Celery City in downtown Sanford. Thanks for subscribing and telling your friends about this podcast, and we hope to see you soon at a live comedy show.
Etchie and Lesley Jo are alone in studio and she shares a solo bit. You gotta listen to hear the rest. Thanks for subscribing! Besure to Follow Tidbits at their Facebook page and group!
It's us, we're here! This week it's just Etchie and Lesley Jo in studio, and we're doing our best to get back on track with quality content and the finest of tidbits. Etchie had an idea to record individual monologues, so we're introducing a new segment to our show! We hope you enjoy the “solo bit” and the surrounding commentary. We appreciate you and your support, please be safe and make sure you're subscribed to our show! Tell your buddy that keeps complaining about how boring their life is, let them know that they can live vicariously through us by listening to our podcast. That's what good friends do.
You may remember Tardolphin, either from his time with Etchie on Answer Pants, or the different episodes of Tidbits he's been on? Have you ever met his son? We hadn't until today!
Sarah Kinbar is a journalist, she's been writing for 27 years. Her very first published story was for the Titusville Herald, covering food resources for the homeless and needy. In recent years she has focused her coverage on comedy and hip-hop music. Sarah is also the co-founder of Hot Hot Creative, a digital marketing agency that serves independent entertainers and artists.
We talk about nuts. The entire time. Also though, check out Dees Brothers Brewing. Yes, they serve nuts.
We're starting to do something..... a little different. I think we slipped out of the smaller chunks of conversation and it just didn't feel like we were truly releasing tidbits of things. We're no frauds! We will now be releasing one little Tidbit at a time. This one is a little longer because we're still trying to slip into this routine! So we had a conversation about plastics today.....
So many Tidbits! This week in the super exclusive PFT Media Studio, we discussed lots of tidbits, including a pretty substantial announcement! Thank you for supporting our show by subscribing and telling your friends about Tidbits. We talked about dress codes, creepy school administrators, and some shocking fan mail from our listeners. We hope to see you soon at one of the comedy shows, stay tuned for more fun and exciting Tidbits. Cheers! -LJ & Etchie
On this episode, we talk about a couple shows we've been watching, involving houses that someone has been murdered in.
We spill the beans, and some beer, during this episode. We have Tardolphin and his best friend Nicole in studio and we discuss many topics, including some debauchery, probably. Thanks for your support and we hope you enjoy the show!
This week we are tidding up the bits in studio, and we discuss a lot about stand-up comedy! Etchie gives us “Etchie's Pick” about his favorite up-and-coming local comic, that he wants to see get booked on more shows. We start the episode talking about Chris Fio, but the information in it is two days old. If you knew Chris, know this when you hear us talk about it. He will be greatly missed.
We don't have much of a direction in this episode, but it was entertaining.
We interview Melissa, the host of the new podcast "What a Day, Kids". It turns out, everyone has a lot to say about their experiences along their educational journey!
We break out the wheel again for a new game in which we determine whether each person chosen would do better as a guest host of Jeopardy, or if they would do a good job in the oval office.
We talk about wax museums and the figures that reside there. For a while.
Etchie is on new pills, and we talk about food, among other things.
It's just us in the studio, with the dog (of course Duncan is here) and we flush out all of our opinions about low flow toiletry, we resonate with the idea of resin art, and we divulge secrets that we learned throughout our travels. We don't get out much... Lesley has butts on the brain, and Etchie literally discusses literature! Literaturely! Thanks again for your support and encouragement and for subscribing to our podcast!
This episode, we interview our friend, Jean, that we met because she goes to a lot of the local comedy shows. We quiz her on her favorite artist, Bruce Springsteen, and quite a few more topics you'll have to listen for!
We tried quite a few beers on episode 112, so I decided to put these tastings on this bonus episode. Etchley, Lesley and Chico dive in. All of the beers we talk about are from Ravenous Pig!
This episode, we sit down with our friend Chico from Chico’s Brain! His show is also on the PFT Network of shows, be sure to check it out. We had a blast discussing Denny’s, and how nobody knows anyone named Denny. We also talked about Chico and Etchie’s “meet cute”, old podcast episodes from long ago, and we sampled some beers from Ravenous Pig. We would talk to Chico for a week if we could! Thanks for subscribing and supporting our show!
This episode, we sit down and talk with our friend and local stand-up comedian Tony Barrett (for more from Tony, see his earlier Tidbits episode #62!) and we discuss the tidbitillating process of building big rocks, his personal theme park easter egg, and much more. Etchie crunches the numbers that Lesley Jo is obsessed with, and Lesley admits her biggest recent struggle. Tune in and hear all about it! Please subscribe and/or tell your friends about our show!
Burial or Cremation? You wanna have your ashes spread somewhere? Are there other options? Yes!
We interview Delyric Oracle in this episode. She's a rapper, activist, and so much more!
This show is dedicated to our friends, because we have some excellent friends who support us and our show. If you want to subscribe, we would love that. No need for a gift, a subscription and maybe a good review would be enough ;) we’ve thoroughly enjoyed doing this show for you. Specifically you. This one is just Etchie and Lesley Jo in studio, we recorded our last “just us” show of 2021, and we had a lot of tidbits to discuss! It’s also a “clean” episode! We tried and that’s what counts. Thanks for your friendship and we hope you enjoy the show! Etchie and Lesley Jo
We finally get to know the members of the podcast that's been on the network for WAY too long for us not to talk! We talk with all three members of The Meat Limit and ask them some of the same questions to see what different answers we get.
We talk about what happened on Thanksgiving, 1982, the year we were born. Among other things.
This week, we had an impromptu visit from our friend, and Duncan’s DogFather, Charles Blair! You can’t tell by listening, but this was his first time getting on the mic in a podcast studio, and he’s a natural. We talked about his experience with helping run a wrestling school when he was a young lad. We also managed to make sounds like Ric Flair, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Thanks for your support! Etchley
This week, we were on Simon Time Trivia Show episode 157, check that out if you haven't already. Let us know how your score compares to ours if you play along at home. In this episode, by popular demand, we blast our brains in rapid-fire succession! We discussed ridiculously long names, short people, fart statistics and some Steve Etchie life hacks that everyone should know. Sprinkled in the segments, we have some special guests! PFT Media All-Stars Simon and Jenny from the Simon Time Trivia Show, and also Elliot and Stef from the Off Cuts podcast stopped by the studio just so they could tell us how they would use an acre of land for a year if they were given the chance. The best part is that everyone has a unique idea, and we learned a thing or two. Thanks again for listening and subscribing to our show! Until next week, Etchley
