Nachdem Marcus in den bisherigen Folgen stets Gäste hatte, zu denen er eine Verbindung durch Metal hatte, treffen wir diesmal auf eine alte Bekannte: Anja wollte schon immer mal über das Thema "Coming Of Age" sprechen. Im Ursprung war angedacht, dies als "Offtopic-Special" im Rahmen von Marcus' eigenem Podcast zu machen, doch mit der neuen Situation haben sich andere Möglichkeiten ergeben. Anja und Marcus haben jeweils zwei Filme und eine Serie im Gepäck, die sich mit dem Thema beschäftigen. Zuvor gilt es jedoch zu klären: Was versteht man überhaupt unter COA? Nach dem plötzlichen Tod ihres Vaters müssen die Halbgeschwister Andy und Piper bei der Sozialarbeiterin Laura unterkommen, bis Andy volljährig wird und die Vormundschaft übernehmen kann. Weiter geht es mit den "Bestseller-Verfilmungen". Hierbei handelt es sich laut Uwe Boll um Filme, die auf Spielen basieren. The Rock und Milla Jovovich waren Thema im ersten Teil dieser Spezialfolge vor zwei Wochen. Im zweiten Teil widmet sich Gilbert einem seiner absoluten Lieblingsfilme: "Silent Hill". Erneut zeigt er, dass er sich tief in das Thema eingearbeitet hat und seine Liebe zum Film hört man ihm eindeutig an. Dennoch bleibt die Frage: Gute Spieleverfilmung, oder sogar ein guter Film? Wie schon angekündigt, hat man natürlich auch noch ein paar "honorable" und "unhonorable mentions" (sofern es letzteres überhaupt gibt) parat und auch an Uwe Boll kommt man bei diesem Thema natürlich nicht vorbei. Laut Uwe Boll sind sie "die neuen Bestsellerverfilmungen": Gemeint sind Filme, die auf Spiele basieren gerade im Horrorbereich gibt es erstaunlich viele Vertreter in diesem Bereich. Im neuen Spezial hat Marcus erstmals Gilbert zu Gast. Gilbert ist Gitarrist bei der Symphonic-Metal-Band "Elvellon" und auch als Produzent und FOH-Techniker tätig. Für das Thema hat Gilbert sich verdammt gut vorbereitet und neben Zahlen, Daten und Fakten zu den jeweiligen Spielen und deren Verfilmungen auch direkt noch die wichtigsten Unterschiede herausgearbeitet. Geplant war es, über drei Filme im Detail zu sprechen und eine Spezialfolge zu veröffentlichen. Doch schon im Gespräch merkte man schnell, dass die drei Filme (und zusätzliche honorable mentions) den Rahmen sprengen würden und daher wurde die Folge aufgeteilt. King Gizzard bootleg program allows labels to press their live shows freely. Learned vinyl manufacturing hands-on at New Jersey plant, experimenting with color pours. Most proud of Frankie and the Witch Fingers KEXP recording for Record Store Day. Market tightened post-pandemic, had to adjust pressing quantities and strategy accordingly.
