TK had a point streak, DG doubled stroked him w/ no jam. We then go into Hakstol's Coach of the Year prospects, no seriously. And last, but certainly not least, the boys end the epi with a hilarious interview with former NHLer Jon Rohloff that is set to *stream* the internet.
The All-Star squad of 4 returns for another year of podcasting to start 2023. The gang starts off by discussing the 2022 world juniors (or lack thereof) (04:05). They then take a dive into how our beloved 6'6 Finnish defenseman continues to make incredible strides in making himself the most hated Philadelphia athlete by injuring Carter hart. The lads then talk about the Flyers recent west coast success and how they continue to ruin their future (20:25). They then take a peak around the league and talk Ovechkin, Giroux, standings, and scoring leaders (53:40) before wrapping up with some postgame topics (1:29:15).
The boys are back together again to discuss the raging disappointment that is the Philadelphia Flyers. The gang start things off discussing how Cam Atkinson is out for the year and simultaneously place bets on who the next Flyer will be to hit the IR (03:33). They then talk about how Lukas Sedlak returned to the Czech Republic after Torts threatened to take away his green card (10:28). The gang returns to your sound waves for their Pelle Lindbergh episode. In this installment, the gang talks about how DG cried for several minutes during Claude Giroux's return game to Philadelphia. He later takes his frustration out by riding a mechanical bull and failing miserably (00:41). We then discuss how our new and improved medical staff has been doing a stellar job of keeping our prized boys healthy so far this season. All the while, the only injured players this year have been Farabee, Tippett, Brink, JVR, Coots, Atkinson, Allison, Laughton, TK, the fabled Ryan Ellis, Torts' face and my pride (09:57). The squad then returns to their “My Guy” segment, where 3 out of the 4 of us were not completely embarrassed by their picks (34:02). DG then ends the pod with a soliloquy he wrote, hoping to one day meet Travis Konecny, while the rest of the pod says who they are thankful for in the Flyers world. Johnny explains why everyone should say Zack MacEwen (1:02:24). Happy Thanksgiving! Ho ho ho!
The fearsome foursome got together for the first time this month. The team had to battle through several of Coots' strokes in the episode, but fear not, Z was able to get on his hands and knees and perform mouth to mouth resuscitation to revive him. It was hot. The gang discusses the historic SADurday in Philadelphia sports with the kick to the stones bestowed upon us from the Phillies & Union (4:13). We followed it by a little stick & sack tap to TK and Carter Hart, simultaneously, we provided a little soapy bum & encouragement spank to Risto as he takes shelter in Torts' dog house (17:26). Z then goes on to exclaim why he believes TK should 100% be the Flyers captain (40:18). We all disagreed and called him a moron. Lastly, we all take turns on saying why Johnny is undoubtedly the best member of the TMS pod and we lay some ceremonial lilies down at a local field to commemorate the injured Matt Luff (again) (49:07).
The gentlemen start off the episode talking about the legendary contract from star-studded all Canadian defenseman Travis Sanheim (6:12). The lads then go into the hot 4-2 start for the Flyers whilst giving handjobs to Carter Hart & Travis Konecny (10:45). We then discuss how the Flyers have been beaten, stabbed, slapped and pillaged by injuries so far this year and how they look forward to their trusty and reliable steed, Rasmus Ristolainen, to save the day (26:00). DG then goes on to talk about every single NHL team's retro jersey (41:50) and the boys ended the episode with a little postgame candle lighting for their fallen soldier and best friend of the pod, Justin Danforth (56:44).
