This podcast is for photographers and individuals who want to challenge their mindset around beliefs, creativity, and bodies.
Whenever things get a bit tumultuous in my life, I like to turn to spirituality in the form of tarot, oracle, and meditations. In today's episode I'm breaking down my 11 card spread I did as part of Rebecca Campbell's Work Your Light Visioning for 2023 and I really unveil a lot of my fears around my body and healing myself. In fact, I unveil and uncover a lot more than I anticipated - so....buckle up, buttercup!
William Shakespeare once said "Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt." This season I am currently in is full of unknowns, fear and well, self doubt. In this episode I'm introducing you to my self doubt and the ways I've learned to overcome it/make friends with it to continue to move forward and achieve my dreams.
My naturopath once asked me "Who would you be if you weren't productive?" And it made me pause. This was right after she told me my body was in a state of stress for over 2 years and trying to keep me alive trumped my hormones being regulated. Phew. This got me thinking about how objectification really impacts the ways we override our human needs.
This last month I have been telling myself the same story "I am stuck" also like a daily affirmation - so of course it feels like I'm moving through quicksand. In this episode to take you through how I self coached myself to what was actually going on and how I moved forward to take action. Welcome back! As you can see, we've undergone some changes and that is for the better! I was going to wait until the new year to record the podcast, but this topic was too important. The holidays can be really difficult and bring up a lot of stress and feelings - we can find ourselves feeling squidgy and emotionally unregulated when this time of year is meant for reflection, family and love (I mean I think the whole year should be like that). Sets some boundaries with yourself and others this holiday!
This is the final episode for 2022 as we take the time to rebrand and refocus for 2023! Send me a DM on Instagram: @terihofford and also, my book 2200 Characters or Less was released this week! Grab your copy here: terihofford.com/2200-characters-or-less ♥️
