During Hour #3 of the Cruz Show on 3/5 We talked about taking breaks in relationships and whether or not it's a good idea
As much as I really didn't want to accept it, I'm in a deep hole of burnout right now. It feels incredibly weird to be burnt out doing something that I LOVE doing (supporting you in healing your relationship with food & body). I'm incredibly passionate about this work I do, but I've come to realize that the "entrepreneurial hustle” has been running me into the ground for a while now. It's been catching up with me in a much more intense way over the past couple of months, where I can no longer ignore the fact that I'm actually harming my health & well-being by continuing to push on in the way I've been operating things. I truly believe it's not the “what” of what I do, it's the “how” I've been going about it that's burnt me out. Long story short, things need to change. And I need a break to take care of myself & my health. Coming to terms with this was actually quite hard for me, and I want to chat with you about it. I don't have all the answers – this is my real, raw, messy journey!I appreciate you and your grace as I take time to take care of myself. Thank you.

On a recent vacation I intentionally left my camera at home, even though I knew there would be interesting places to photograph. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of hauling my camera bag on an airplane but I really wanted and needed the break. Letting go of the everyday activities, even for just a few hours, can be a great way to be present and see things from a different perspective. It can also be a wonderful way to deal with the winter blahs.
Hello, listeners!I wanted to take a moment to share that I'll be taking a break from the podcast. A lot has been happening lately, and I want to ensure I'm emotionally and mentally at my best so I can continue bringing you quality content. In the meantime, I'll be releasing some older episodes for you to enjoy.Thank you so much for your continued support and for tuning in to Kristen's Simple Life Podcast. Until next time, take care!

Happy Friday lovely Listeners! Piggybacking off the past 2 week's episodes, I'm sharing about some more recent experiences that have led to revelations and a decision to take a shot at trying some new approaches to adjusting patterns and letting go of absolutes. It's Ok to play around with elements in your life, we're all alchemists afterall! On this solo episode I share about the notion of Abstaining with Love; letting go of something you often engage in or do a certain way not because it's "bad" rather because trying something new can shift your energy or adjust your path to allow for desired change. Of course this came from a another humorous anecdote in my life, there seem to be quite a few lately. And I'm here for it! I also touch on how we can navigate dating and intimacy after upsetting situations and why it's important to establish emotional safety before taking big risks.* Women Waken Wednesdays will be held weekly on Wednesdays at 6pm PST starting in February! This is a virtual Women's group I'm holding for my beautiful listeners. I would love for you to join! Robb and I just can't seem to agree on this one. Should you take a break from trading, for any reason, and what do you need to do in the meantime? When things get tough in trading, and in life, what do you do? Turn tail and run away, or simply make a "tactical retreat"?? All depends on your perspective. Ours differ. #TradingPsychology Maverick Links Click Here To Learn More about Maverick Forex Trading: URL: https://maverickfx.com/application-3-a/?utm_source=vpyt Click Here To Learn More about Maverick Currencies: URL: https://maverickcurrencies.com/application-3-a/?utm_source=VPPodPsych Click Here To Learn More about Maverick Trading's Stock/Options Division: URL: https://mavericktrading.com/application-3-a/?utm_source=VPPodPsych Maverick Trading YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@mavericktrading Robb's Flat Earth Trading Society https://www.youtube.com/@FlatEarthTradingSociety No Nonsense Forex Links VP's Trading Psychology Book https://nononsenseforex.com/forex-psychology-book/ Recommended Crypto Trading Platform (Bonus and Contest Eligibility) - https://nononsenseforex.com/cryptocurrencies/best-crypto-trading-platform/ Blueberry Markets Blog (Top FX Broker) - https://nononsenseforex.com/uncategorized/blueberry-markets-review-my-top-broker-for-2019/ Follow VP on Twitter https://twitter.com/This_Is_VP4X The hosts of this podcast are not licensed financial advisors, and nothing heard on this podcast should be taken as financial advice. After 138 episodes and almost four years to the day since we recorded our first one, Will and Richard have decided to take a short break. We do plan to continue Bubble Trouble, and we are not short of bubbles that are causing trouble, but we want to take time to recharge and reflect on how we can make the show better than ever. We hope you'll look back through the archives as there are so many episodes that are every bit as relevant today as they were in 2021 when we started. We'll have word soon on when you can expect new episodes, but thanks so much for listening. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Here at Tangle, we've just had a year straight of one of the longest, wildest, most unpredictable, campaign seasons I've ever witnessed. From two assassination attempts on Donald Trump to the shocking first debate to Joe Biden dropping out to Kamala Harris's coronation as top Democrat and everything that happened after that and in between. If you are reading this newsletter, you are either a voracious news consumer or someone who is at least spending a few minutes a day trying to stay informed. To that end, I'm doing something very few media outlets tend to do: I'm telling you to look away. Just for a few days. It's okay. It'll all be here when you get back, and if you genuinely take a break you'll feel refreshed and ready to return when it's time. We're going to take a break, too, and I'm planning to recharge. We'll keep an eye on things for you while you take a break, and we'll update you on what you missed when we return (which will be Tuesday, December 3rd — I've ordered my team to take off tomorrow through Monday). In the meantime, we are running a special Black Friday deal for our premium podcast memberships. Hey Brave Table fam! Today, we're diving into a topic so many of us wrestle with — rest! Why is it that we feel guilty when we take time for ourselves? Why does resting sometimes make us feel lazy or unproductive? Growing up in a household where rest was synonymous with "not enough," I get it. In this episode, I share my personal journey with redefining rest, unpacking those old narratives, and learning to truly savor the slow. I also reflect on insights from Dr. Avanti Singh, who reminds us of the dangers of constantly "pushing" — especially around the holidays when the pressure to "do it all" can feel overwhelming. So let's get comfortable, release the guilt, and step into a mindset where rest is not just okay — it's necessary. Let's explore this together and make peace with rest as part of our growth. What you'll get out of this episode… Rest is an essential part of productivity, creativity, and well-being. Learning to Let Go Savor the Slow Rest creates space for miracles and unexpected opportunities Simple rituals remind us to slow down and embrace the present TIMESTAMPS [00:00:00] - Intro to the Brave Table [00:04:00] - Personal story: Family, rest, and health challenges [00:10:00] - Can we savor the slow and embrace boredom?
