Elwood and Lackey return with another cult TV double as on this episode they check out Batman Beyond set in a future were Bruce has retired from being a costume vigilante and a new Batman has taken up the mantle of the bat. We also take a look at the british sci-fi series The Tripods which suprising has nothing to do with The War Of The Worlds, but instead introduces a world at peace while under the rule of alien overlords in thier monsterous tripods. First up is the cult favourite "The Prisoner" where Patrick McGoohan is not a number but a free man while constantly being pursued by a giant balloon called Rover. Here though he campaigns to be the new Number 2 but is this this whole vote just another scheme being run by his captors? Next up is one of the standout episodes from the first season of "Masters of Horror" with Joe Dante's "Homecoming" in which dead soliders are rising from their graves to vote against the current president. An episode which unquestionably was more than relevent during its original release, but how does it hold up now? All this plus as always they reveal the shows which have been holding thier intrest. Returning for another weighty double feature of cult TV goodness this time Elwood and Lackey look at the show which inspired "Lost" as a group of students find themselves stranded on a former nuclear test site and are forced to form a new society. Ultraman 1.10, “The Mysterious Dinosaur Base” (1966): Ultraman takes on a mad scientist who has been breeding a massive dinosaur beneath the waves of Lake Kitayama.

Tales from the Cryptkeeper 1.01, “While the Cat’s Away” (1993): That’s right, Tales from the Crypt spawned a Saturday morning cartoon spinoff. In the pilot, two adolescents break into a house, looking for loot they can fence to buy a dirt bike. Hilarity ensues.
