Once again I found someone speaking to something from the world of sports that has a much bigger impact on what real life is all about. I found this from Coach AJ - Mental Fitness (@coachajkings) where he shared a video clip (find it HERE) of football coach Pete Carroll who said, "The thing about grit is real." "It's about competing, pushing yourself, striving to be your best, and what's really exciting is nobody controls this, but you." This is a very powerful reminder that grit isn't about talent or being lucky. It's about choosing to endure. To not quit. It's taking ownership.
