Hey everyone, welcome back to another review! Today, I'll be reviewing the newly-released Amazon Christmas action-comedy: Red One, starring The Rock and Chris Evans. I was initially pretty excited for this one because I loved the pitch and I'm just someone who loves Christmas... but those trailers, woof. Since then, I've been a little cold towards this film and now having seen it, it's pretty much exactly what you'd expect it to be. That being said, listen on to find out why I think this movie will still be unfairly mocked once more people get to see it! Red One Directed by: Jake Kasdan Screenplay by: Chris Morgan Story by: Hiram Garcia Produced by: Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Dwayne Johnson, Jake Kasdan, Melvin Mar, Chris Morgan Executive Producers: Ainsley Davies, Barry Waldman Music by: Henry Jackman Cinematography by: Dan Mindel Edited by: Steve Edwards, Mark Helfrich, Tara Timpone Casting by: Nicole Abellera, Katie Doyle, Jeanne McCarthy Production Design by: Bill Brzeski Costume Design by: Michael Crow, Laura Jean Shannon Cast: Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, J.K. Simmons, Kiernan Shipka Synopsis: After Santa Claus (codename: Red One) is kidnapped, the North Pole's Head of Security must team up with the world's most infamous bounty hunter in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.

This week we dive in to two format-smashing shows: one the up-ends the conventions of podcast storytelling, and one that challenges the concept of story telling itself. The panel examines "Crimetown." This podcast from Gimlet sounds like nothing we've heard before. Are they setting a new bar for the traditional first-person investigative podcast or are they creating a completely new genre? Also, the crime writers give their take on HBO's dizzying & dazzling "Westworld." Was the western-tinged sci-fi series about man's inhumanity, a study on free will, or a contemplation of on the power of story? Or just a bunch of cowboys shooting and having sex with robots? Plus, Toby checks his Amazon Christmas list (is your gift on it?). We'll hear from a listener who offers her two cents on the Justin Ross Harris verdict (and then we offer her ours). The Crime of the Week looks at the War on Christmas...by beavers. Support the show.
Tony, Josh and Tammy give you a list things that would be perfect for you, or the Jeeper in your life. Check http://jeeptalkforum.com for clickable links to all the items discussed on this special Thanksgiving episode! Oh and of course have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
