Dustin Dailey is an Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Georgetown University working with the football and men's lacrosse programs. Prior to his arrival at the Hilltop in 2021 he was the head speed and strength coach at D1 Sports Training in his home state of Texas. Additionally, he's spent time as an assistant coach at Saint Leo University, professional performance intern at the NSCA headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO and graduate assistant coach at Salisbury University. Dailey got his start as a personal trainer before completing internships at American University and his alma mater, the University of Maryland. Along with his current role, he is also a weightlifting coach programming and coaching both recreational and competitive weightlifters. A former quarterback and wide receiver at the University of Maryland, Dailey got into competitive weightlifting following his college football career. He competes for Category 5 Athletics Weightlifting, and has competed at the American Open Series (2017-2019) and 2018 University Nationals. Brian Degennaro trains and coaches in Manhattan, NY. In 2014 he won a bronze medal in the Clean & Jerk at the American Open, and he has also won bronze medals in both the Clean & Jerk and the Total at the 2019 American Open Series. He works as head coach at Manhattan Barbell Club and is an old gym buddy of mine from our days training in Archbold at Syracuse University. Genny Tidwell is a competitive CrossFitter and weightlifter. She popped up on a lot of people's radar after being the first adaptive athlete to compete in a USAW national competition. On the episode, we talked about her experience at the Arnold Classic, how she's overcome different obstacles being an adaptive athlete, and her upcoming plans. She gives some great advice for any out there with physical differences. She talked about the importance of removing the word can't and how to keep motivation to train through this time.
