Today I have a great conversation with Tiffiny Roper, family coach for moms of girls. Tiffiny grew up without a strong mom figure and, like many of her generation, grew up with the attitude that she didn't need a man and that she could do everything on her own. While the intention of that teaching is supposed to be empowering, what has happened is that an entire generation of women wears a mask and suppresses their own feminine energy. The problem with that is that we push ourselves so hard all the time, leaving no energy to take care of ourselves. Our daughters see this, and learn this, and in order to do better by them, we need to model doing better for ourselves first. Today's Topic: As Moms, it starts with you, if you are joyful and hitting goals, and living a life with purpose, your family is happy and you are being a role model for your daughters (and young kids) to do the same. You have to have self-care and self-love and love yourself harder (not your kids) in order to show your kids how it's done (actions over words). Shine bright and speak loudly so others around you will also be inspired to do the same. Light your and others' path. Tiffiny Roper is a Girl Mom Family Coach that focuses on helping Women become their best selves so they can hit their goals, live their life on purpose, and role model that for their daughters so they can raise our amazing female leaders of tomorrow. Key learnings and takeaways: Tiffiny used the experiences of her life - fertility issues, miscarriages, deaths in family, tumultuous upbringing - to build herself back up as well as reveal her passions She wanted to translate those into her coaching of moms who are too busy to actually take care of themselves She had a hard time growing her clientele as she was running into prospects who didn't have time to dedicate to the coaching she was offering She had great awareness of the business issues she needed to fix but she always seemed to put the breaks on the actions needed to move the business forward We identified that a lot these were due to her fear of rejection which was actually powering the hesitation she had in her actions to grow her business Connect with Tiffiny: https://www.facebook.com/groups/girlmomfamilycoaching

Laverne DeFazio (Penny Marshall) and Shirley Feeney (Cindy Williams), are two friends and roommates who work as bottle-cappers in the fictitious Shotz Brewery in late 1950s in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! What is up Limitless Lifers?! Today, I've got a new coaching episode for you. This one is really special because I was actually doing a coaching call inside one of my online courses when one of my students spoke up and had this profound question. She had a radio interview coming up, but she was terrified of people hearing what her voice sounded like. Now, this was a typed question during our group coaching call. I wasn’t able to hear her voice but I already knew there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. We talked about this as a group and worked to really understand what was underneath the fear. Today’s conversation is a deep dive into this powerful topic. Throughout our conversation in this coaching call, it becomes a beautifully profound metaphor for anyone who is afraid of people hearing their voice, people seeing their fullest expression, people witnessing them in who they really are and watching their growth, and what it might feel like for you to ask for more in your life to speak up about who you are and what you want. I think you're going to really love this conversation with one of my students, Tiffiny. She has some incredible insights and uncovers so much depth beneath her fear of people hearing her voice. So let's dive into the conversation with Tiffiny!
