In this inspiring episode of The Franchise Woman Podcast: Where Passion & Purpose Collide, Rebecca Monet and Tracy Kawa sit down with Tiffiny Consoli, the first-ever Pool Scouts franchisee, who made history by surpassing $3 million in annual revenue in 2024. Tiffiny shares her remarkable entrepreneurial journey — from launching a plantscaping business in her 20s to leading one of the most successful Pool Scouts franchises in the country. She opens up about the pivotal moments that shaped her confidence, the lessons learned from REI's leadership culture, and how authenticity and courage became her greatest business assets.
As we close out Domestic Violence Awareness Month, this conversation is more than powerful — it's necessary. In this episode of Inside the Vault with Ash Cash, we sit down with Tiffiny Newton — survivor, author, and founder of Ignite Her Inc. — who courageously shares her story of surviving emotional and financial abuse and how she rebuilt her life, her faith, and her finances from the ground up. Tiffiny's new book, Behind the Smile: The Unseen Signs of Emotional Abuse, reveals how control, manipulation, and money often trap victims in silence — and what loved ones can do to help before it's too late.
What does it take to recognize you're in an abusive relationship when denial feels safer than truth? When someone finally told Tiffiny Newton she was being abused, she refused to believe it—even as her partner controlled every aspect of her life. This powerful conversation takes us through Tiffiny's journey from victim to survivor to advocate, revealing the subtle warning signs of abuse that often go unnoticed. She candidly shares how manipulation disguised as love kept her trapped in a cycle she attempted to escape five times before finally breaking free."Trauma bonding is like a tornado," Tiffany explains. "You see the destruction, you feel the destruction, but you can't pull away because of the gravitational pull." Her description of how abusers need only show kindness one day a month to maintain control illuminates why leaving becomes so difficult, especially for women in midlife already navigating identity challenges.Tiffiny has transformed her painful experience into purpose through her book "Behind the Smile," designed specifically to help loved ones support someone trapped in abuse. For anyone who suspects they or someone they care about is in an unhealthy relationship, this episode offers validation, understanding, and a path toward freedom.Check out Tiffiny's book on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers, and visit our show page for all her social media links. Today I have a great conversation with Tiffiny Roper, family coach for moms of girls. Tiffiny grew up without a strong mom figure and, like many of her generation, grew up with the attitude that she didn't need a man and that she could do everything on her own. While the intention of that teaching is supposed to be empowering, what has happened is that an entire generation of women wears a mask and suppresses their own feminine energy. The problem with that is that we push ourselves so hard all the time, leaving no energy to take care of ourselves. Our daughters see this, and learn this, and in order to do better by them, we need to model doing better for ourselves first. Welcome Back No-Problem Parents! Tiffiny Roper is on a mission to create amazing female leaders of tomorrow that this world desperately needs. She accomplishes this as a Life Coach for Moms of young daughters, working passionately with them to reach their goals and become the best role models they can be. In doing so, they live a new purpose-driven life filled with joy and inspire those around them to do the same, starting with their daughters. She uses her twenty years of Project Management experience to keep Moms accountable for hitting their goals. She's also a speaker and best-selling author that loves creating memories with her husband of twenty years and young twin daughters, Avery and Sophia, including coaching their softball team and leading their Girl Scout troop. Connect with Tiffiny via email at tiffiny@girlmomcoaching.com. Today's Topic: As Moms, it starts with you, if you are joyful and hitting goals, and living a life with purpose, your family is happy and you are being a role model for your daughters (and young kids) to do the same. You have to have self-care and self-love and love yourself harder (not your kids) in order to show your kids how it's done (actions over words). Shine bright and speak loudly so others around you will also be inspired to do the same. Light your and others' path. We all have summits to reach, and it's about reaching yours so you can turn around and serve others by helping them reach their own (starts with you, then our kids, then society as a whole). Moms usually make themselves last, and sometimes take off themselves from their to-do list. How can you give your kids your all, if you don't have the energy, if you always make yourself last? Moms, it is taking off your sunshine - so STOP IT, have time with yourself and include your self-care in your list! We need a whole generation of women that are leading and not shining away from their life. Our guest, Tiffiny Roper believes that moms are the beacon of light in the family. She wants them to shine so bright that everybody around them has to start wearing sunglasses. Tiffany is helping women become the best of themselves, live with fulfilment and joy to be a sunshine to everybody - inspiring their kids, their family and the community.“We're such nurturers (moms) that we care, we give, we serve, but you know, you can't give from a cup that is completely empty. So you have to give what you want to your kids to yourself first. “ - Tiffiny RoperAbout the Guest:Tiffiny Roper is a Coach for Moms of young girls focused on reaching their goals and becoming the best Moms they can be, so they can be amazing role models for their daughters and help create the female leaders of tomorrow the world desperately needs. Tiffiny Roper is a Girl Mom Family Coach that focuses on helping Women become their best selves so they can hit their goals, live their life on purpose, and role model that for their daughters so they can raise our amazing female leaders of tomorrow. Key learnings and takeaways: Tiffiny used the experiences of her life - fertility issues, miscarriages, deaths in family, tumultuous upbringing - to build herself back up as well as reveal her passions She wanted to translate those into her coaching of moms who are too busy to actually take care of themselves She had a hard time growing her clientele as she was running into prospects who didn't have time to dedicate to the coaching she was offering She had great awareness of the business issues she needed to fix but she always seemed to put the breaks on the actions needed to move the business forward We identified that a lot these were due to her fear of rejection which was actually powering the hesitation she had in her actions to grow her business Connect with Tiffiny: https://www.facebook.com/groups/girlmomfamilycoaching

If you get paid more to pour a cup of coffee at McDonald's than be a caregiver, the system is surely unjust. Kevin Orr, a complete C4-5 quadriplegic from Mississippi and former police officer injured in 2009, has experienced a severe absence of caregivers since the pandemic began (with his mother becoming his full-time caregiver as a result). Tiffiny and Kevin discuss possible solutions to his dilemma, and the greater issue at hand. They also discuss his passion of mouth painting, and how painting objects with drip paint finally got him the attention of buyers. Run-time is 47 minutes. — See Kevin's artwork
