Becky Watson is a mom of 2, yoga teacher, yoga therapist, and author. She's been teaching yoga for over 14 years and a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist for 4 years. When her oldest child left home at age 16 to finish high school at a boarding school, Becky knew that her time as a full-time mom was quickly coming to an end. While she loved teaching yoga, she also knew that there is much more to transformation than teaching people to do a pretty yoga pose. She began to study yoga therapy through Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy after her daughter moved out and at the same time she also began to plan her post child-rearing life. So far, the empty nest phase has included lots of exploration, adventure and doing new things. One of those new things was writing a book. In 2019, Becky published Foot Yoga: A Guide to Happier, Healthier Feet. This book came from her many years of teaching people in her yoga classes how to help their feet be stronger and more flexible. Currently, Becky uses the skills to help other women create change in their lives through both yoga & yoga therapy. Becky specializes in helping women who are going through a major life transition such as retirement, divorce, or empty nest. Transitions that moms go through when their kids leave and how to reconnect with themselvesFinding focus and purpose when their kids leave the nestHow you can start a business no matter what age you areBecky Watson is a mom of 2, a yoga therapist, life mentor and author. After my daughter left home to finish high school at a boarding school, I knew that my time as a full-time mom was soon coming to an end. I'd spent almost 20 years arranging my life around my kids and I had no idea who I was anymore or what to do with myself after they left. That sent me on a journey of self-discovery where I discovered Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. Using the tools that I learned in yoga therapy on myself, I began to create what I wanted to do with my time as an empty nester. I now use those same tools to help other moms find their focus, passion and purpose again. I believe life doesn't end when your kids move out. It simply changes. I want to see all moms thrive in this time of life! Free Resource: 10 Ways to Ground YourselfWebsite: www.beckywatsonyoga.comFacebook: @beckywatsonyogatherapy Instagram: @theemptynestercoach
