The Funniest Thing! podcast is an absolute delight to listen to. I have become a fan and have bookmarked so many episodes because of the valuable content it provides. One of the things I love most about this podcast is its no-nonsense approach to the principles of new thought. The hosts, Darrell and Ed, are relatable as they openly talk about their struggles with negative thoughts and challenges that get in the way of their spirituality. Each episode, they teach listeners how they overcome these obstacles in their own unique and humorous way.

The humor on this podcast is contagious and I appreciate that it brings a lightheartedness to spiritual teachings. Darrell and Ed show that life doesn't always have to be serious and that it's okay to laugh, sing, and tell jokes along the way. They also introduce listeners to various books and lessons that can enhance one's spiritual journey. Overall, The Funniest Thing! has had a positive impact on my life and I am grateful for it.

While The Funniest Thing! podcast has many strengths, there are a few aspects that could be improved upon. Sometimes the humor can feel forced or repetitive, which may not resonate with all listeners. Additionally, some episodes may lack depth or provide surface-level insights. However, these minor flaws do not take away from the overall value and enjoyment of the podcast.

In conclusion, The Funniest Thing! podcast is an uplifting and inspiring show that has changed the lives of many listeners, including myself. Darrell and Ed bring joy, positivity, and practical tools for living a more fulfilling life through their episodes. Despite some minor shortcomings, this podcast is a worthwhile listen for those seeking spiritual growth with a side of laughter. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Most people consider work just another four-letter word that ends in “k”. It is generally seen as the penance we do to justify earning our right to have what we desire. Today's the day to break free from this dreadful mental approach toward work and get on God's payroll. Make the switch from seeing your job as your source, and means of support. Begin to realize that God is your support and source, and that your job is merely the current channel. As soon as we stop complaining and treat our career as an exercise in giving love, we begin to succeed beyond our secret hopes. Build your trust in the Truth that God is orchestrating things on your behalf while you are busy being an agent of His love. This is the ultimate method of preparing for your promotion. On this episode, Darrell and Ed share how this faith-fueled attitude is akin to having the world's greatest headhunter working on your behalf. It has been said that the opposite of depression is expression, and the thing to express is love. When we're feeling bad emotionally and/or physically, expressing love doesn't seem like the reasonable thing to do. However, expressing love brings practical results. “Harvard scientists discovered that you can actually bombard people, situations, and conditions with love, thereby producing miraculous changes. They predicted that "turning love on" might soon become a universal prescription for healing the world's ills.” Emmet Fox states,  “There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer; no disease that enough love will not heal; no door that enough love will not open; no gulf that enough love will not bridge; no wall that enough love will not throw down; no sin that enough love will not redeem. It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble, how hopeless the outlook, how muddled the tangle, how great the mistake; a sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.” On this episode, Darrell and Ed share simple ways to keep our love flowing so that we can experience good health, happiness, success, and prosperity. You have the power to work miracles in human lives including your own. And, during the second segment, special guest Janet Prince inspires and motivates us to get into the habit of expressing our supernatural power of love with today's reading, “The Way of Love.” Join the Prospering Patreon Community: www.Patreon.com/FunniestThing

Wherever there is hope recovery follows. This is the truth. However, most of us, when in the running for a desired position, an award, an acting role, or good news on test results, we tend to outright dismiss Hope. We'll start by sharing the good news with a friend and then within the same breath squelch our enthusiasm for it by saying, “But, I don't want to get my hopes up.” Although we've been seemingly taught by saying this phrase we're being humble and respectable, the truth is we're actually denouncing God, negating our good. We've replaced our faith with superstition. Thinking that somehow if we cooperate with the positive stream of life and God's grace that we will jeopardize it. That's insanity. On this episode, Darrell and Ed encourage listeners to break the bad habit of casting bad superstitious spells upon themselves and start cooperating with God, by casting Good spells upon one another. That's the Gospel, the good spell! And, during the second segment, Magnificent Marty Thurman gets us all living it up with today's reading, “The Creative Power of the Mind”. These distractions disrupt our faith and cause concerns about the possibility of future problems. Almost always our concerns quickly become presentments. We become indignant and angry over situations that haven't even occurred. We can avoid experiencing presentments by ignoring the distractions. “Funniest Thing!” is the exclamation that many people will say when something unexpected happens that coincides with a desire of theirs. “Funniest thing! The person who interviewed me for that job I really want grew up in the same town and we had a great time reminiscing.” “Funniest thing! I had trouble finding a parking space but when I finally did the person getting out of the car next to me was someone who I haven't seen in years and was just thinking about.” “Funniest thing! We had an unexpected bill and a day later we received an unexpected check as a gift from a family member in the same amount.” What if these coincidences weren't just coincidences at all? What if you had something to do with causing these serendipitous and seemingly miraculous outcomes? For centuries philosophers have said we do. On this episode, Darrell and Ed reveal and discuss the secret to living a charmed life. The secret being our attitude. Your attitude, your mental approach to any situation, is the combination of your thoughts and feelings about it. Those who proceed with a faithful attitude, one of gratitude and joyful expectancy, seem to enjoy more good luck than those who proceed with a fearful attitude; morbid expectancy. Why is this so? Because our thoughts produce feelings and feelings equal vibration. And it's the Universe's job to match your vibration. Good and faithful thoughts produce good feelings, and these good vibrations make us magnetic to good results. During the second segment, Rev. Cathy Norman elevates our thoughts and feelings with today's reading, “Imagination is Prayer.” Join the Prosperous Patreon Community with a monthly contribution: www.Patreon.com/FunniestThing

It is not the circumstance that matters. It is your state of being that matters. You are not a physical being in a physical universe, you are a vibrational being in a vibrational Universe. You are both a transmitter and a receiver of energy. When you think a thought and feel an emotion you are transmitting vibrations to your surroundings. In essence, what you're tuning into, you're turning into. And our circumstances will reflect this back to you. Faith and gratitude instantly tune us into a higher vibration. On this episode, Darrell and Ed share how we get to choose our vibrational match by the thoughts we choose to tune in to. As Albert Einstein puts it, "Everything is energy... and that's all there is to it! Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy, this is physics.” And, during the second segment, the dynamic David McClure, author of “The Healing Tapestry”, tunes us into to something good with today's reading, “Healing.” Join the Prosperous Patreon Community: www.Patreon.com/FunniestThing Order David's new book https://shop.unity.org/product/the-healing-tapestry-a-memoir-of-divine-guidance

Therefore, it gives us something to do in order to join forces with God and strengthen our faith.: focus on expressing Love. Or are you stuck in outdated mental and emotional patterns?  Life moves onward and upward, and we must move with it. If we haven't changed our thoughts and feelings in the last year, we are making life unnecessarily difficult. Growth in understanding ourselves is essential to enjoying a more effective, Christ-like life, just as physical growth is necessary for a baby to mature into an adult. Keep an open mind. Be willing to consider and examine fresh concepts. Do things in a different way. Try something new each day. Willingness to learn will assure you of growth, because God can speak to you through your open mind. The Spirit of God will inspire you, guide you, and fill your life with good. Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. (Ephesians 4:23) Writing by Rev Jim Gaither: I use my imagination wisely and focus on success. I use the power of imagination to bring ideas into being and to visualize answered prayers. When an inspired idea comes to me that I would like to create in my life, I use my mind to imagine what it would look like, how it would feel to achieve it, and the steps I will take to bring it about. I infuse my images with color, sound, aroma, and even taste. I see myself having achieved my goal. The thoughts and the images I hold in mind are creative; they shape divine substance and energy into manifestation. I exercise my imagination wisely by focusing on my heart's desires as if steering toward a compass point. I use my imagination to help bring about success, healing, and the best outcomes.

“Some guys have all the luck…Some guys do nothing but complain.” Those lyrics from a 1980's pop song sum up spiritual Truth perfectly. Whatever we are complaining about, we are casting ourselves as the victim of that very thing. We are sending a negative message to our subconscious mind, telling it that we are a victim. When we do, the subconscious goes to work to make it so and we will encounter more to complain about. Remember: Gratitude is the Law of Increase. Complaint is the Law of Decrease. Knowing this to be true, let us commit to appreciating more and complaining less. On this episode, Darrell and Ed encourage listeners to start employing Saint Paul's three-step system for success: “Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly.
