Lamar Jackson once played with boyish charm and a love for the game. Today, without a long-term contract that youthful exuberance has vanished and so too may Lamar from Baltimore.

In today episode, I will preview the upcoming AFC North match between the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns. This is an important game for both franchises, as the Ravens fight to stay atop the division and #3 in the AFC. The Browns look to get into playoff contention as they are currently #11 just behind their divisional foes, Pittsburgh Steelers. This will be a different game this come around due to the Ravens being without their All-Pro Cornerback, Marlon Humphrey. He went down last week with a season ending injury. The Browns will also be without the likes of Harrison Bryant and David Njoku. There will be a lot to unpack in this one from the Quarterbacks to the secondaries. Will Lamar continue to struggle? Will Baker Mayfield fair better in this go around unlike two weeks ago?
In todays episode, I will review the Ravens and Steelers game that once again lived up to the hype. As we all know now the Ravens could have very much buried the Steelers for the season, however it would be off the fingertips of Mark Andrews that would cost us the game. The call for a two-point conversion by Coach Harbaugh was definitely gusty, but what it needed? There were several fans and even analysts that went both ways, but most were critical of the actual play call and its execution. With this heartbreaking loss, not only are the Steelers still alive in the playoff hunt, but the Ravens may lose the division lead. With the injuries piling up within the locker room, the Ravens would lose yet another key player for the year, Marlon Humphrey. What does this mean for the Ravens with just 5 games left to play? Can they still make a push despite a huge loss on defense?
In todays episode, I will review the Raven's last prime time game of the season versus the Browns on Sunday Night Football. It was definitely a night of surprises, not only did Lamar throw 4 interceptions, but their defense held the top rushing offense to just 40 yards on the ground. The Ravens would eventually prevail the victors and control their own destiny as they sit atop the conference, but are the Ravens really the top team in the AFC? Do they have what it takes to ‘run the table' all the way to SoFi Stadium for Super Bowl 56?
In todays episode, I will review yet another overtime thriller with my Baltimore Ravens as they defeat the Vikings 34-31. With the slow start to the game, this was a hard fought win as the Ravens continue to make their presence known in the AFC. Will the Ravens regain #1 seed overall in the AFC? Is Lamar Jackson a legitimate MVP candidate?
In today's episode, I will breakdown the upcoming match up between the Ravens and Vikings. This game is 8 years removed, for the last time these teams faced off was way back in 2013 when Joe Flacco was the quarterback. It was a wild and eventual snowy afternoon in Baltimore, however although this time the coast is clear the excitement will still be present. Can the Ravens bounce back from that horrible loss at the hands of their division rival, Cincinnati Bengals. Or will the Vikings pull off the unthinkable in Baltimore and hand them their second straight loss at home?
WDSU Sports Anchor Fletcher Mackel has worked in his hometown of New Orleans since 2002. He joins Jack to talk a lotta Saints football. Fletch and Jack close out the show by picking winners for every Week 8 NFL game. So far, they are both 1-for-1 as they picked the Packers to upset the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.
