There are many more questions than answers when it comes to the 2025 New Orleans Saints, but the good news is we can begin to turn that corner with the start of training camp on Tuesday. We dive into what those questions might be with Times-Picayune and Advocate sports columnist Jeff Duncan on Monday's Dattitude Podcast (Ep. 392) presented by Evangeline Securities. Host Jim Derry also has some thoughts of his own and takes plenty of comments from the “Dat Family” before and after Jeff's segment. Now that Tyler Shough has signed his deal, is the anointed one at quarterback over Spencer Rattler? Who is going to step up at running back behind Alvin Kamara and wide receiver behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed? What about on defense? Can Alontae Taylor be a No. 1 cornerback?
With just 4 days remaining until the start of Saints camp, it's time for the expert to join our show to answer some of the big questions: Can the offensive line actually be one of the team's strengths? Who will step up behind Alvin Kamara at RB? Is Rashid Shaheed ready for the next step? What about Bryan Bresee on defense? WWL Radio football analyst Mike Detillier joins host Jim Derry to discuss all these topics and more on Friday's Dattitude Podcast (Ep. 391) presented by Evangeline Securities. Mike also will offer a prediction for the NFC South and what he thinks about the odds to win the SEC. Also, he discusses the importance of LSU's opener against Clemson on Aug. 30. Gabe Henderson is back, and he talks UFC in New Orleans and his best value plays in college football.

Bid on Draft-A-Thon items here! https://tiltify.com/@cbs-sports/fft-draftathon-2025 Vote for Fantasy Football Today in the "Sports" category: https://podcastawards.com/app/signup Ian Hartitz of Fantasy Life is today's guest as we take a look at Jamey's running back tiers! Heath and Ian will critique and let us know where they differ. First, Ian offers his take on RB strategy (4:00) for 2025 and we run through the news and notes before getting into the first two tiers at RB (10:50). We've got seven stud RBs in Tiers 1 and 2, but Heath believes there should be an eighth! ... Tiers 3 and 4 (22:00) are loaded with talent. Can these guys be your RB1? Should Ken Walker be in this tier? Then we get to Tier 5 (29:10) which is where Jamey starts to get nervous about the position with guys like Alvin Kamara and James Conner among others. Meanwhile, Tier 6 (35:15) is an interesting mix of veteran RBs and rookie RBs ... Tiers 7 and 8 (44:55) once again highlight the stability of the veterans vs. the excitement of the rookies. Should you draft R.J. Harvey or Aaron Jones? Kaleb Johnson or Isiah Pacheco? And we talk about Tiers 9 and 10 (51:45) with Javonte Williams, Travis Etienne and more plus more late-round RBs and handcuff strategy (1:02:00) ... Need a home run pick in the middle of your draft? We'll tell you which running backs we like in Rounds 5-8. First, an email about the Lions and what more outdoor games could mean for them (4:00), plus some news and notes (8:15) ... Before we analyze these mid-round RBs, let's have a brief history lesson of what this range of RBs has looked like in previous seasons (9:30). Who are the success stories? Who are the busts and what lessons can we learn? Then we take a look at the RBs being drafted in Round 5 (19:30) such as Ken Walker, Omarion Hampton and Alvin Kamara. You could make the case they should all be going in Round 4 ... Dave and Heath discuss the rookies (25:45) in this range. It's a great rookie class, but maybe R.J. Harvey is going too early? We then discuss the veterans like D'Andre Swift and David Montgomery (30:30). What about the Round 7 veterans (41:30) Tony Pollard, Aaron Jones and Isiah Pacheco? And the Round 8 guys (53:40) are Brian Robinson Jr., Jaylen Warren and Jordan Mason ...
