The Mets and Edwin Diaz had a much-needed win after Wednesday's loss. Jerry and Willie agree it sounds more and more like Haason Reddick and his agent went back on their word. Willie remembers the Aaron Rodgers injury and called Zach Wilson awful. Rutgers beat Howard last night and Howard's head coach complained about Rutgers scoring on the final play of the game. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry plays “Ripped From the Headlines” with Willie.

Hour 1 Jerry wanted to put his fist through a wall listening to Joe Douglas yesterday. Jerry feels Douglas was focused on not saying the wrong thing about Haason Reddick and his agent. Willie thinks it was smart of Douglas to say something but not actually reveal anything. CLo is in with his first update of the day and begins with Edwin Diaz and the Mets bouncing back. They won their series in Arizona. Joe Douglas explained what's going on between the Jets and Haason Reddick. Dak Prescott doesn't have a deadline for his extension. Carlos Alcaraz lost in a huge upset at the US Open. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry and Willie discuss the Giants unretiring Ray Flaherty's number for Malik Nabers. Hour 2 The Mets shoved it back in our faces yesterday. Jerry said they proved they are a team you can't give up on until it's officially over.
