Vesco and Wujing are working together to find the task force's secret location. To do so they need to break a specialist out of prison one Dr. Laken Perillos. Will she be able to extract the information required from the one man she was never able to break? Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon. Case Profile for Dr. Laken Perillos Dr. Laken Perillos is back and she wants another crack at Dembe, the one person she was never able to break. He just so happens to know where the task force secret location is and she knows either he will give it up or Red will come to save him and offer it up in exchange. She was able to return thanks to one Robert Vesco, now working with Wujing (or is he) who sprung the Doctor from prison. Meanwhile Dembe gets conned by one of his former associates which leads to his ultimate capture by Wujing, but the FBI arrives just in time to save Dembe from cardiac arrest thanks to one of Red's secret medical stations that the Task force now knows about. In the end Wujing discovers that Robert is a mole planted by Red, and puts the final con over on Red's friend. RIP Robert. We really enjoyed you on the show. November's The Leading Edge presents a selection of studies that gives an idea of the breadth of geophysics that aids in mitigating natural hazards, covering natural and induced earthquake phenomena and landslides. In this conversation with host Andrew Geary, Heather Bedle and Chris Garneau explore public misperceptions of geohazards, the power of experiencing earthquakes, and ways to improve scientific communication with the public. Heather highlights a new tool that helps with one of the greatest seismic data limitations, and Chris breaks down the connection between people's concern about future seismicity and climate change. They also choose the most important areas to mitigate geohazards between geophysics, societal work, and education. This episode breaks down geohazards and their impact on the public and provides actionable steps for geoscientists to study geohazards better and discuss their work with others. Dr. Heather Bedle is an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma in the School of Geosciences. Dr. Chris Garneau is an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma in the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Sociology. Closing out PRIDE 2022 Chris Garneau is a New York Based multi instrumental vocalist. His work is anything outside of that cookie cutter sound. I found his music really deep, reflective, and crossing so many genres. Imagine Brian Eno conducting the bar band from Twin Peaks, with Leonard Cohen on vocals, and you are in the general idea of Chris Garneau's music. I was unable to pin it down, and just enjoyed where it took me. We discussed his music, family relationships, farming, and strange poses in making videos. I also accidentally stubled on some closure for some own personal grief I got to resolve, only because he was the flipside of it all. This is by far the heaviest conversation I have ever had with a musician. His new work is intense, and I really wonder what you all will think of it. webstite instagram soundcloud facebook #chrisgarneau #pride2022 #leonardcohen #gonzomusicjournalism #gaysingers
