Colonel Rob Maness joins Steve Gruber to break down the chilling story of an ISIS‑inspired gang in Michigan whose “pumpkin day” terror plot was foiled just in time. Maness brings his three decades of military experience to discuss how these threats form, how law enforcement intercepts them, and why vigilance is critical at home. He also discusses what this means for our national security posture and how everyday Americans should stay alert.
**[Watchman SPECIAL Report: The Gunpowder Plot...Remember, Remember the 5th of November!]**Why do bonfires blaze every November 5th? This thought-provoking analysis goes beyond the history books to reveal a profound biblical truth. The failure of the 1605 Gunpowder Plot was not merely a foiled treason; it was a direct intervention by the Almighty. We explore the dark history of Bible suppression, the divine timing of the printing press, and the series of remarkable setbacks that exposed the plot. This presentation uncovers how God's purpose for the British nation and the global spread of His Word rendered this human scheme powerless. Food Wars Begin! Terror Plot Foiled & Much More!
FBI Expert Reveals How They FOILED Michigan Halloween Terrorist Plo The first thread of this plot was reportedly pulled by a member of an FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, or JTTF. These task forces are the backbone of modern counterterrorism, combining the resources of federal, state, and local agencies. An agent, an informant, or maybe a tip from a concerned citizen, flagged the online chatter. It wasn't a fully formed plot yet—more like a disturbing discussion. Welcome back to another Foiled Fridays! This is another solo episode with Brandon as I discuss Tinfoil Tales involvement with the new Focus Features release Bugonia, in select theaters today, and opening wide Oct 31st. A part of a Tinfoil Tales episode will be included in the film, as one of the main characters listens to the podcast. That leads me to the topic of not always believing everything you hear on podcasts, or everything you read online. There is a real danger that can come from that and it might end up influencing more harm than good.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/tinfoil-tales--6147818/support.Tinfoil Tales Podcast - Show Notes
In this episode of The President's Daily Brief: Russia's been caught building a secret undersea spy network in the Arctic — powered by Western technology. We'll explain how the system works, what it means for NATO, and why this undersea network could shift the balance of power in the next great intelligence contest. Later, European security services foil another Russian terror plot. Authorities in Poland and Romania say they've stopped a plan to send explosive parcels to Ukraine — part of Moscow's growing campaign of sabotage across the continent. Today's Headlines: Police in Atlanta arrested a man outside the city's international airport after his family alerted authorities that he was on his way to “shoot up the airport.” Officers found an assault rifle and ammo in his truck, preventing what could've been a mass shooting. Meanwhile, new reporting revealed that Secretary of State Marco Rubio approved the transfer of nine MS-13 leaders—including some who were FBI informants—back to El Salvador at President Bukele's request, in exchange for access to his infamous CECOT prison. In related news, Dutch intelligence is now limiting what information they share with the United States over human rights concerns. In Trump's world, demolition crews began tearing down part of the White House for his new “Marie Antoinette Ballroom,” despite no formal approval from the federal agency that oversees government property—because apparently that rule doesn't apply to “demolition.” In the courts, an appeals court ruled that Trump can take command of the Oregon National Guard (though he can't deploy them yet), and the Supreme Court agreed to hear a case on whether marijuana users can legally own guns—the same charge Hunter Biden was convicted of. Elsewhere, a massive Amazon Web Services outage temporarily took down much of the internet—including Reddit, Zoom, and Venmo—after a technical failure disrupted about a third of the world's online traffic. And to top it off, a lithium battery caught fire midair on an Air China flight, forcing an emergency landing. Resources/Articles mentioned in this episode: AP News: Man who planned to shoot up Atlanta's airport is arrested in a terminal following a tip, police say WaPo: Rubio promised to betray U.S. informants to get Trump's El Salvador prison deal NL Times: Dutch intelligence services cut back on sharing information with U.S AP News: Trump directs demolition on part of White House for ballroom despite lacking construction approval AP News: US appeals court says Trump can take command of Oregon troops though deployment blocked for now AP News: Supreme Court will consider whether people who regularly smoke pot can legally own guns Axios: AWS outage spotlights the global economy's fragile foundations NYT: Lithium Battery Fire Aboard Air China Flight Forces Emergency Landing Morning Announcements is produced by Sami Sage and edited by Grace Hernandez-Johnson Learn more about your ad choices. Police in Atlanta say 49-year-old Billy Joe Cagle was arrested after threatening to shoot up Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Officers found him at the airport and took him into custody without anyone being hurt. Investigators say they found an AR-15 rifle and 27 rounds of ammunition in his pickup truck, which was parked outside the airport. Cagle faces multiple charges, including making terrorist threats and possession of a firearm by a felon.President Donald Trump and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese signed a rare earth minerals agreement on Monday, aimed at reducing their dependence on China. China currently dominates the global rare earth supply chain and has recently imposed stricter export rules. The deal includes plans to jointly invest over $3 billion in critical minerals projects within the next six months. Ahead of Trump's anticipated meeting with Chinese regime leader Xi Jinping in South Korea, he has also threatened China with export restrictions and additional 100 percent tariffs, and has demanded increased purchases of U.S. soybeans. The government shutdown is now the second-longest in history, with Democrats refusing to pass a clean resolution to fund the government for what was the 11th time on Monday. They are demanding extended Obamacare subsidies and that Medicaid cuts be walked back. Republicans are continuing to reject the $1.5 trillion demand. The GOP is now pivoting to another plan, paying troops and some federal workers during the shutdown. It's unclear if they will get enough support to continue doing so, however, with some Democrats already rejecting what they call the GOP's attempt to pick and choose who gets paid.
Did they just try to assassinate President Trump for a third time? The timing is more than a little suspicious. So just days before those “No Kings” protests kicked off, the Secret Service reportedly found an elevated hunting stand in a Florida tree line, positioned with a direct line of sight to where Trump usually exits Air Force One in Palm Beach County. So a perfect place to fire a rifle round. And this wasn't some random discovery — agents uncovered it during their “advance security preparations” ahead of his arrival in Palm Beach on Thursday.

On today's NdB Sunday Show, Chris Steyn speaks to the only police officer ever awarded the Silver Star for bravery twice. Colonel Tollie Vreugenburg, formerly of the Hawks, where he worked on Crimes Against the State and commanded Anti-Terrorism investigations, comes out strongly in support of generals Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi and Fannie Mademola. “Both of them are persons of high integrity and what they say and what they said in the commission as well as in front of Parliament is not new to me. I've experienced it myself…especially the latter parts of my career. And I take my hat off for them to come forward and come to the open. They are the only two currently that have enough courage to do that.” The Colonel reveals how, in 2015, political interference prevented him from arresting President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan. He shares his personal experience of the “hostile takeover” of the DPCI by a crony of former President Jacob Zuma. Meanwhile, amid fears for the life of General Mkhwanazi,” he warns: “…well, the guy that wants to take him out, good luck to you. That is a…highly highly trained combatant…he is…very capable of protecting himself.” The Colonel also talks about the raids on the homes of suspended Deputy Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya and President Cyril Ramaphosa's nephew from a previous marriage. As for the African National Congress (ANC) trying to distance itself from Brian Mogotsi, one of the central characters in the saga, he says: “It's much too late. There will be a big footprint leading back for many years between the party as well as the individual.”

There won't be a guest for this, as it is just my way of having a personal place to share some of what I think with the audience. If you are not a fan of this sort of approach, then this probably won't be the type of episodes you will enjoy. Mick has a fascinating in-depth interview with Noel Browne, who spent 41 years as a Garda anti-gang investigator. He tells us the deadly Hutch attack on the Regency Airport Hotel was actually a failure - and the Kinahans' thirst for revenge over it led to their own downfall. Noel also talks to us about other criminals he has faced down in his career - including how he slapped handcuffs on John Gilligan and brought him home on an Air Corps plane to face trial for the murder of crime reporter Veronica Guerin.
