*Warning: Lots of food talk and descriptions in this episode, make sure you grab a snack before listening.* Welcome back! We're talking about a summer full of dope Pacific Islander festivals up the West Coast with the recent Pacific Feats Fest in San Jose, and the upcoming 4 Days of Aloha (7/20-23) in Vancouver, WA and The PolyFest (8/5) in Auburn, WA. Speaking of travelling to Seattle-area, Forest and Mike break down their long-distance driving secrets (speeding, “find your rabbit”). This week's convo flows across many topics, including an upcoming trip to Hawaii, how to hit a baseball, selling ice cakes in Samoa, commissioning professional feet pictures, Britney Spears being struck by Spurs security, the entertainment and effects of Reality TV, and food scarcity in America. #1! We close with our shout outs to Modesto's Via Dolorosa Church for their Saturday Food Bank, Wardell Curry Sr., 7/10 and all the Dabbers, Rick Simpson and RSOs, homies who pick you up to go out, Miss Nude Oregon winner Tokyo, Devin K's bday, Talanoa Smith, Our Panel, Le Vasa Island Apparel, Big Bro Va'a Hosea, PasifikaByDesign, Island Mogul, Island Block, people in the service industry, Sami Jobes for being the world's best Mom and partner, and Our Listeners. No shout outs to the people who thought we were working as bouncers when we went downtown last week lol. Recorded 7/10/2023, Zoom. Sponsored by www.levasaislandapparel.com.
Murray Watson is joined as usual by the Nantwich Town FC media team of Jack Beresford and Liam Price. They look back at the 2022 / 23 season, which ultimately ended in the Dabbers relegation from the Northern Premier League. Surprisingly it was quite an upbeat episode with the form of Paul Carden's team in the last eight games, and the players that have resigned for the next 12 months. We also look back at the predictions of Liam and Jack, and we can see why there aren't any poor bookmakers.
Hey team, Welcome back to another episode of A Soldiers Five. In this episode I talk to Si, a soldier who completed two decades of service as a Movements Operator with the NZ Army. Fun fact: Si was actually my boss during one of my postings AND we happened to serve together in Afghanistan. I really appreciated the way Si approached small teams leadership, and during our time serving together he was one of the few people where he was both a senior, mentor and mate. I took a lot away from my time learning from him, hence why I really wanted to get him on and sharn for a bit. Had a good chat, really good to get his experiences working with the Royal Marine Commandos as well as his experience assisting in the retrieval of Byron Solomon, a sailor who tragically passed away in an accident on board HMNZS Canterbury. I also don't know how many times I've said um so let me know and i'll donate some cash to no duff. https://www.instagram.com/popsmoke_adventures/ Enjoy!

To close out one of the craziest years and decades i thought it was only right that i bring some of my favorite people in the basement and cook up. Known in the “cannabis community” as trailblazer and gatekeeper, Dabbers has moved up and down the east coast carrying the green flag proud and making his mark. With his own radio show “ Talking Terps “, countless marches, magazines , music and more, Dabbers has led the fight for just laws and fair treatment for the 420 citizens. Back in town from Los Angeles, Krown Vic, stopped thru to sponsor this episode with his new “ Trap Fiesta “ CBD and Cannabis strain. Very nice. Plus he brought his new musical project of the same name and much more. 202 Angie is no stranger to the show. Now as she transitions into the music management and promotion world she stopped through to talk about her new business endeavors and of course help me navigate through the craziness of 2019. From R.Kelly to Jessie Smoullete. Tekashi69 , Jeffery Epstein, Harvey Weinstein , Trump and so much more. I don’t think we missed a topic. We ran down some of the best songs of the last decade and mapped out our plans the next ten. This episode got out control just like we like it here. Take a dab hit, roll some “Trap Fiesta “ and take this trip into a brand new year, 2020, make it your best one yet. Thank you so much for you’re support over 2019. Bigger and better ahead. Follow @floydworld and @floyd118pod. New merch coming soon. Be back next week.
