0:00 - Sometimes, seasons can be boiled down to a handful of specific timeline-altering moments. What were some season-changing moments for our local teams over the years?12:21 - Our favorite sports betting commercial guy had a very blunt prediction for Nuggets @ Bucks tonight. Also, Dan Hurley misinterpreted a question at a press conference yesterday and reinforced Brett's hatred of him. 32:32 - Matt Stafford was skiing in Montana and HAPPENED to run into Tom Brady who HAPPENS to be a minotiry owner of the Vegas Raiders. What a wonderful coincidence!
Jordan Schultz reports it was an intentional meeting and Brady wants Stafford to play for the Vegas Raiders, but Ian Rapoport says it was just a coincidence. What is your level of optimism for Jack Suwinski, Henry Davis, and Ke'Bryan Hayes this season?
00:00-20:00: Vegas Raiders going nowhere. Pete Carroll? Chip Kelly? Good luck. Plus, continued poor ownership. ML says the Raiders are going nowhere.
0:00 - What does a quarterback/coach think of Jokic's wild buzzer beater last night? How is Joker's throwing motion?13:15 - Currently, Aaron Gordon is fitting comfortably into his role as a bench player. Will he be okay with staying there? Or will he want to return to the starting lineup?26:19 - Pete Carroll is now the new head coach of the Vegas Raiders. The AFC West is a gauntlet of accomplished coaches now.

Hour 1 Jerry is in for Boomer today as he's speaking to a hospital group in Arkansas today. Gio wonders how much he's getting paid for that. We also realized none of us will ever be in Arkansas, ever. The Texas Rangers won the World Series. Jerry picked them before the season started but never placed a bet on them. Gio said the most important thing you need to win a World Series is a locker room full of guys that care. And that is where a great manager like Bruce Bochy comes in. This is the type of manager the Mets need to find. Our friend and former WFAN employee Kevin Burkhardt was right there at the World Series one day and Cowboys/Rams the next. He's the Joe Buck of Fox Sports now that Buck is at ESPN. C-Lo is in for Jerry and is here for his first update. He starts with the sounds from last night's World Series win for the Texas Rangers. Corey Seager won the MVP. Bruce Bochy talked about the group of players he had this year. The Knicks lost to the Cavs at the Garden. Gio said the Nets are playing their asses off ‘devoid of those three idiots'. Bob Knight passed away at 83. Will Levis plays tonight in Pittsburgh and Gio said he is not a well liked guy. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about NFL head coaches that got fired mid-season, and how the team did the following week. This is relevant as the Giants play the new Antonio Pierce led Vegas Raiders. It does seem to spark a team more than it doesn't. Hour 2 We played The Autumn Wind from NFL Films with the Raiders and Giants facing off this week. We talked about the importance of NFL Films for us growing up and how it made us more of a fan. C-Lo returns for an update but first we played the bleeped out clip of Gio cursing at a caller from the previous segment. We also compared the guy's voice to the ‘pervert Al' character. The Texas Rangers won the World Series last night, their first ever. They celebrated by singing Creed's ‘Higher'. Bobby Knight passed away at the age of 83 and we have an outtake of him doing a commercial for the Marines. Antonio Pierce met the media and talked about Raider pride and the commitment to excellence. In the final segment of the hour, Carl Banks said he no longer wants to do the weekly interview with Sal & BT. Sal and BT individually talked to Carl off the air and said everything was good. Ten hours later Gary Myers put out a tweet as ‘breaking news' that Carl was resigning his weekly interview spot because he was disrespected. Gio said this means nothing as his segment was boring. It is not a loss for WFAN as nobody really liked it. Gio called it the most boring 15 minutes of the week. Gio is clearly happy to see it go. Hour 3 Callers react to Gio's strong take about Carl Banks resigning from his weekly interview with BT & Sal. C-Lo returns for an update Gio is nervous about the upcoming release by Dua Lipa. He needs her career to keep going. We talked about female pop stars and how long they stay popular for. The Texas Rangers won the World Series last night, the first for their franchise. Arizona Diamondbacks Manager Torey Lovullo said he just wants to suck his thumb and eat ice cream to get over the loss. Bob Knight passed away at the age of 83. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the death of Bob Knight and his legacy. A 76 year old man talked about going to three Pink concerts and how much he loves her. Hour 4 It's getting tougher every week to pick a knockout pool team. The Browns over the Cardinals looks like a solid pick. What about the Falcons over the Vikings? Gio wants to make a ballsy knockout pool pick by taking the Bengals over the Bills. C-Lo returns for his final update of the day and starts with the death of Bobby Knight. He has some clips of Knight going off during a talk show and one where he talks about sitting on the bench being a great motivator. Clippers owner Steve Ballmer is all pumped up about his new arena. Antonio Pierce met the media and he was fired up to be leading the Raiders. Mike McDaniel was asked about people dressing up as him for Halloween. Chris Russo was all worked up because the Chiefs and Dolphins are on Sunday morning when he's at church. The Moment of The Day involved Gio cursing at a caller and then we compared his voice to ‘pervert Al'. In the final segment of the show, Chris Russo not only backed out of his retirement bet, but now he has backed out on the deal he made with Howard Stern about wearing an Arizona Diamondbacks bikini. Gio said it makes him look like a ‘chump'. Gio also talked about the Biggie song where he talks about Anthony Mason's girlfriend.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is solo to offer a bunch of opinions after watching the coaches All-22 film from the Buffalo Bills convincing victory over the Vegas Raiders in addition to discussing and analyzing several of the Pro Football Focus premium stats grade handed out to Buffalo this week. Josh Allen turned things around after an ugly debut against the Jets. Patrick goes over a bunch of numbers and instances on film that support Allen's strong bounce back. He also talks about James Cook taking the next step, Gabe Davis being an important part of the offense, tight end usage and a terrific performance by the offensive line. Another stellar effort by Matt Milano highlights the defensive side of the ball and Patrick has issues with Greg Rosseau not being graded higher by Pro Football Focus this week. That plus some final thoughts on play action calls and sustainably long drives being a huge key in the Bills getting into the win column. ♦♦♦♦♦ Follow Patrick Moran/Talking Buffalo Podcast Substack: Patrick Moran's Substack Twitter: @PatrickMoranTB. They also discuss Gabe Davis' big game, loving the running back, a great performance from the offensive line, another strong effort from the defense and much more from this Bills home opener. They also talk why Nate thinks Imperial's wings are some of the best around, Buffalo, his summer golf outings, sports media stuff and much more.
