I am joined by our old friend Ruebs this week to talk about the MEGA game convention. What is it? How can you sign up as a player? How can you organise your own event within it? This is such a great community building event. This is a fantastic listen for possible attendees or for those who might like to grow gaming in their own cities.

One of my favourite gaming narratives has always been the Badab War. And I am not alone! Our old friend Nick Beattie and his 3rd-A-Palooza crew have been working hard to create a slim format codex, popular in the late 90's that captures the units and forces that fought in the most exciting conflict over taxes for Warhammer 40k 3rd edition. This we look back at Warhammer 40K Second Edition! The shift from Second to Third Edition was one of, if not the, biggest edition changes in modern gaming. Third Edition became the template that 40k followed for many editions and years later BUT does this mean that Second Edition should be forgotten? Today we discuss why this might not be the case. This week I am joined by the Bring & Battle Wargaming guys, who were the organisers of this year's fantastic Bunker Assault 2nd Ed 40k event in the UK. We chat about the event, Second Edition as a game and nostalgia in gaming. I was recovering from being ill in this episode so my voice is a little funny. Sorry about that!
