This week Elder Eric shares his testimony of God's faithfulness in his life with loosing his wife and the hope we have in the Lord.
It is the Father's good pleasure to lead us into our identity and to make us like him in every way. What we learned from this sermon is that we can also take pleasure in the process the Father is bringing us through because we know what it is producing. Elder Eric, Pastor Slaughter, and Brother Luke Ledesma masterfully led us through the process God took Peter and Paul through to develop a conviction about who they were. Listen to this message and be settled in the process God is taking you through as he is leading you into the fullness of your identity.
In this sermon, our elder Eric shares his personal story of growing up Jewish, coming to know Yeshua, and learning to listen to God.
This week we learned how to give 10% to our community and what the Lord has given us in this weeks sermon from elder Eric Friedmen.
On Valentine's Day, Elder Eric Taylor encouraged the congregation that loving one another like God loves requires vulnerability, trust and transparency, and he committed to loving the family that meets here at Liberty as God loves them. Today, Elder Eric shared from his heart of how the Lord is working in his life to bring him into the freedom that Christ gives. Eric shared that God has been revealing the subtle lies of the enemy he had been believing for years that were stealing his joy and power and freedom, and causing him to sin. Eric encouraged each person to ask God to show them what lies of the devil they were believing, and to ask God to reveal the truth of God and apply the truth of God's Word. In God's Kingdom, vulnerability is victory, transparency is freedom, selflessness brings fulfillment, and humility positions you to be used by God. God is working to bring the whole Body of Christ into being the Bride without spot or wrinkle. When you get out of your comfort zone to be transparent and humbly obey God, you discover God is with you—and there is nothing as wonderful as the transformation and freedom that realization brings!

“Beautiful” delivered by Pastor Payton, Pastor Justin, and Elder Eric was a beautiful demonstration of what it means to truly give the King your all. Each one of these men, walked us through the full price sacrifice that is required of every true believer who follows our glorious King. Through their own personal experiences and genuine raw transparency, they challenged us to take a sober look at our lives and inspired us to present a full price sacrifice that cost us something. We are on the precipice of the greatest expansion in our community we have ever seen. Our brothers and our sons are going to the nations to win souls for the Kingdom of God. What great sacrifice awaits you to lay at the feet of our King, causing your life to be a sweet-smelling aroma that fills the very room. This is Beautiful.
What extraordinary times we're living in! This message entitled “Sophron”, was a key and timely message for our times and our body. Elder Eric and Abimbola Daramola demonstrated to us the importance of knowing our identity and knowing who God is to us. Through the life of Joshua, we learned that through failures and mistakes, Joshua took hold of his identity. He knew what God said about him and he knew who God was to him. Joshua was a man who possessed Sophron. He possessed a saved mind and kept in mind that which saved him and the whole situation at all times. This is absolutely essential, for all believers to possess Sophron. To have a saved mind and to keep in mind that which saves you and the whole situation at all times. This is a message that you will want to listen to multiple times. Let your faith rise as you demonstrate action-oriented faith to save the situation in front of you. It will result in heaven responding with signs and wonders because of the manifest presence of God inside of you.
The word of God never sets out to portray men and women of faith as perfect, instead we see how God still showed up in their lives even with their imperfections, failures, and mistakes. In this sermon entitled “El Shaddai”, Elder Eric, Brother Luke, and Brother Gabriel, bear their hearts before the congregation of God. Encouraging us that even though we are not enough, our God is enough! He is enough for every difficult circumstance that we face. He is enough for the trials and hardships in our lives. And He is certainly enough even when we stare death in the face. Let this sermon cause your faith to rise in the God who is El Shaddai!
The last 57 days have been nothing short of life changing for our community. In that time, we've learned about how God's stakes is name on promises, how to read the bible from the right side, and how Israel is at the center God's redemptive plan in a greater fashion. It has challenged us, provoked us to study, and increased our thankfulness and awe at the plan of God and how we've been granted participation. This sermon entitled "No Exclusionary Truth", preached by Elder Eric, was the capstone of this 57 day spirit led series. In it we learned that our goal it preaching should be to provoke study and that one amazing truth does not set aside the other. We also got insight into the scope of the entire book of Romans! Oh the depths and riches of the word of God! Listen to this sermon now and let it provoke you to deeper study!
We are truly living in unprecedented times, and now more than ever it is time for the sons of God to shine brightly. This sermon entitled “Great & Strange Sight”, Elder Eric, Pastor Judah, and Brother Gabriel walked us through the beautiful scriptural pattern of how God fully uses a man. Through this revelation, we learned what it means for us to become the great and strange sight that attracts the nations to the King of Israel. We will give our best effort to our Messiah, and he will meet us with power and fire from on high! Listen to this sermon now because it will change your life if you put it into practice!
To describe this sermon in one word would not do the revelation that was laid out for us justice. “Seize the Day” preached by Elder Eric, Pastor Nik, and Pastor Judah is a trumpet sound going off to declare the eminent and very tangible times that we are living in. Through the masterful biblical overview and interconnected scriptures laying out the master plan of God, we were challenged to examine our lives and the works that are still yet to be done for King Jesus. This sermon will change your life if you are serious about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Waste no time with the opportunity you have been given today. Now is the time to Seize the Day!
Sermon delivered on 08/12/23 by elder Eric Friedman on prayer and this season of prayer we are entering in as the month of Elul begins.
“Family Jewels” preached by Elder Eric, Pastor Judah, and Brother Gabe Stephens was a fresh look through the biblical lens of what it is to believe in what the Lord says through His word about us and about our brothers. We learned that we are to go up the mountain and be with the Lord in order to get revelation about our identity. Then turn and be empowered to see our brothers according to what the Lord says about them, so that we can spur them on in their identity and calling. Like Aaron we are called to make all of our decisions based on the Word and the Spirit of God for the benefit of our brothers. This is how we are built
Momentum is building in the house of God! We were blessed to hear a word from Elder Eric and Brother Luke this morning. “Three Judges” spoke to the need for how proper biblical discipleship is supposed to take form and shape. This is for the purpose of lasting through the generations after we are gone. Using the lives of men like Othniel, we were able to see the opportunities that were given to him to rise up in the same conquering spirit of the men of God who went before him. The kingdom goal is this, that we would raise up men of God that are not just equal to us, but also better than us!
“Bending the Bow” preached by Elder Eric, Pastor Wade, and Pastor Matt was immensely encouraging. We are to bend the bow with what we have already been given; we already have what we need. Through the scriptural encouragement of Deuteronomy 4, we could see the steps by which we are to bend the bow. This is not a new process we are discovering but rather taking what is already in our possession and doing it all the more. What started in us was always meant to radiate out to the generations coming behind us. This is how present and future kings of the kingdom are made. This is how we bend the bow.
“Barriers Broken” preached by Elder Eric and Pastor Judah is a sermon worth listening to again and again. When barriers have been broken in our lives, we can then set out as witnesses to help others have their barriers broken in their lives. This is what we see in the book of Acts with the Apostles and the barrier breaking encounters they were led into. It is also what we are experiencing here at LCM, our barriers have been broken and are being broken, bringing greater levels of unity between us. Now, we have our sights set on setting out to help others do the same!
We are growing and maturing here at LCM! Elder Eric and Pastor Wade brought a timely word that is helping us advance in our walk with the Lord. “Between the Rains” went head-to-head by confronting the many ways we well-meaning Christians are involving ourselves in activities dedicated to the Lord but in actuality were never directed by the Lord. We do not belong to ourselves so therefore our activities and deeds must be God breathed and directed by him. This is how we experience the resurrection power that is available to those who are dependent on him!
The two words to describe the sermon we just heard this morning are “Life Changing”. “Here Comes The Rain Again” delivered by Elder Eric is a sermon you will want to listen to again and again. Using the life of Elijah as an example, we learn that the word of the Lord to a man of God is what generates the faith that causes that man of God to stand in the midst of drought as he awaits the latter rains of transformation. Do not waste any time, listen to this sermon now!
We were incredibly blessed by the word this morning! Elder Eric and Pastor Judah walked us through a holistic view and understanding of the relationship the twelve tribes of Israel had as well as their promises. As we recapped the past 10 sermons, we were reminded our brothers receiving a blessing from our father poses no threat to what he has in store for us. This message took it a step further. If our brothers don’t receive their inheritance, that will definitely impact us. We need our brothers, and our brothers need us. This revelation is taking on an even deeper meaning than before. It is our greatest privilege to fight for our brothers promises because it is how we will win nations.
This message entitled "The Heroic Cup", preached by Pastor Judah and Elder Eric was all kinds of insightful, impactful, and revelatory. Beginning with a live demonstration by some of the best and brightest in our church, we examined the significance of sharing a "cup" or experience with someone. The gentlemen brought to mind how Jesus called his disciples to share of this same kind of cup because he provided something supernatural to partake in. As we engaged with the story of Judah (because we are Judah and his brothers) it made this all the more impactful because we learned that at our lowest moments, he is the "Lord of breaking through" and it's exactly because of these moments that we must drink of the cup the Lord has provided for us! Sharing of the heroic cup that has been provided for us will result in that same cup overflowing with life for everyone around us, just as Jesus promised.
“Judah and His Brothers” is a timely sermon for us to grab ahold of. Often times when we read about the sons of Israel in the book of Genesis, we put ourselves in the shoes of Joseph instead of who we actually reflect and resemble in the story most days of our life. The who being Judah and his brothers. Elder Eric and Pastor Judah helped us grapple with the reality that when we are envious, jealous, or find ourselves in contention with our brothers, it is because we don’t understand our heavenly Father and do not understand our identity as sons. The kingdom of God has always been built on brotherhood and the Lord is transforming our hearts to see that the only way to advance the Kingdom is at the cost of laying down our lives so that our brothers may find life!
“Defeating Disparity Creating Equals” was a refreshing reminder that the work of the kingdom that we get to partake in is not in vain. We were blessed by Jen and Abby as they shared the testimonies of what the Lord is doing all around the world in Indonesia, Italy, Albania, and Romania and the lives that are being changed. Elder Eric then walked us through the incredible responsibility that we have to the brotherhood of believers by speaking life into our brothers. When we demonstrate this kind of faith in the character of our heavenly Father and what he has said about our brothers, we never let it go and we continue to fight for them to be all that God has called them to be. This is what causes dry bones to rattle and rise, and will produce a greater level of love, unity, and fidelity towards one another. This is how we are “Defeating Disparity Creating Equals”!
“Impossible” preached by Elder Eric was a foundational reminder of the simple but timeless and powerful kingdom truths. Often times, we think that we (the church of Jesus Christ) are the ones with an impossible task. This is simply not the truth. The one with the impossible task are those who stand in opposition to the church of God. They simply cannot overcome the church; it is impossible for them! As believers, we must walk in this reality that the church of the living God simply cannot be stopped and how we practically carry this out is by reminding ourselves and walking out the faith fundamentals of scripture. We must show ourselves faithful over the course of time because our victory is certain!
Elder Eric, Pastor Judah, and Pastor Wade bring a refreshing view to the subject of salvation being a journey and the ever-growing awareness that there are still things in our lives that need to be worked out in walk with the Lord. In this sermon entitled “Eureka, I found it!”, they addressed the misconception in the Christian faith that because we once met the Lord at an altar, we now no longer need to revisit the altar and are living in the “blessing” of the Lord. When in reality, the Christian’s journey is an ongoing discovery of new areas of imperfections in our lives that prove that we are still being perfected by our good father. He knows what is still in us and he is helping us discover them! This is worth celebrating! Not that we have “arrived” but through the leading of his spirit we get opportunity after opportunity to have our eyes open to these areas of imperfection. This is our Eureka moment because we are not being discarded in this process but rather being developed as our heavenly father is helping us purify our faith which is more precious than gold!
“You Are Not Special” preached by Elder Eric, Pastor Matt, and Pastor Wade is a timely message for our body and our current day. We have been told for most of our lives that we were special because of our physical traits, intellect, or the hardships we have faced. The biblical reality is none of these things actually make us special and the word of God makes this clear. Our pastors walk us through the first four steps of the 5 Traits of Holy Masculinity and we learn what actually make a man of God special. Listen now to find out!
What a fantastic word delivered by Elder Eric and Pastor Judah entitled “Husbandry”. We were brought through the biblical lens of the process by which God cultivates man. In this call to husbandry, we must develop the areas that the Lord has highlighted to us while trusting him to makes things grow. This is because we are in a covenantal relationship with our good Father that is meant to produce life inside of us and life in the world around us. This call and process of husbandry is what we need, it is what our household needs, and the world all around us.
Elder Eric and Pastor Judah delivered this fantastic sermon this morning entitled “International Harvesters”. We are constantly faced with the reality of the death that must take place in us in order for resurrection life to spring forth. This death is not to be understood as something that happened a long time ago at the cross nor should resurrection be looked at as solely a future event. Rather we are to have a revelation that this is a cyclical process of crucifying moments that reveal the continual resurrection power of God at work in us! This is how we stand up in our heavenly status of international harvesters and produce the 30, 60, and 100 fold.
“M.I.A” preached by Elder Eric and Pastor Payton admonished us to take on the personal responsibility to walk in the resurrection life that is found in Jesus. It is not enough for us to know that Jesus resurrected from the dead, but we are called to live in light of the resurrection. Experiencing his resurrection power daily at work in us through the laying down of our lives and taking steps of faith filled actions that empower the next generation to go even further. Let your inspiration in the resurrection rise and your personal responsibility to walk in it. This is how we stay connected through the generations and carry the gospel forward.
It is good to be in the house of the Lord! Today we were blessed by the word brought by Elder Eric and Pastor Judah, “A Couple of Ordinary Asses”. In this sermon, we learned through the prophetic book of Zechariah the word of the Lord not only to the house of Israel but also to us here at LCM. Our great King is invested in the generations beyond us. He does this by removing the idolatry, worldly tendencies, and empty way of life that was handed down from previous generations that we find ourselves walking in. The work that He is doing inside of us now is so that the next generation is not polluted by the same errors but rather benefited and strengthen beyond what we could do in ours. His aim is for His glory to rest on those coming after us, that they may build His house! We no longer live for ourselves but for those coming after us, so that His name may be known throughout all generations!
One of the best things that a believer can experience is coming to grips with just how sinful we are while at the same time growing in our love for the Lord. Too often we smooth over our actual state and walk with the Lord by only embracing the truth that we through Christ have been credited with righteousness. We do this without equally wrestling with the fact that there must be ongoing transformation aimed at righteousness. We are quick to embrace that we are Sons of God, and rightfully so, but too slow to recognize that we are also Sons of men. We love the promises in Christ but struggle to see that there are sinful habits, behaviors, and desires in us that poison our productivity in Christ and must be dealt with. “Look at it” preached by Elder Eric, brings a razor-sharp edge to the attitude and perspective a mature Christian must have; living in the tension of knowing that we are Sons of God and Sons of men. A view that has the courage to look at the condition of our own hearts and trust that it will be healed, restored, and transformed by the power of the grace of God. This is a sermon you will want to listen to over and over again!

Don't wait! That is what the spirit is saying to this church. Elder Eric admonished the body with this timely word. Timely because we don't have time to waste. We don't have time to waste on the things that keep us starved of the daily bread from doing his will. What we do have is a choice to make the most of the days to come. We will open the books, stand on the revelation, speak the very words of God, and inspire others to stand all the same!
