After a 45-minute meeting that escalated into a heated exchange, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy left the White House without signing a critical minerals deal that could have strengthened ties between the U.S. and Ukraine. The confrontation began with President Trump accusing Zelenskyy of being disrespectful, leading to a tense back-and-forth where Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance chastised Zelenskyy for expressing doubts about Russian commitments. What was meant to be a collaborative discussion quickly turned confrontational, with Trump warning that Zelenskyy was jeopardizing global stability and future U.S. support. As a result, the anticipated minerals deal intended to grant the U.S. access to Ukraine's rare earth resources fell apart amid the turmoil. But with the stakes so high, one crucial question remains: How will this breakdown in negotiations affect Ukraine's ongoing struggle against Russian aggression and its future security? Never in the long, storied history of The Kevin O'Connor Show has KOC managed to hit ALL 30 NBA teams in one BONANZA of a podcast... until now! Headlined by the Golden State Warriors landing Jimmy Butler (and whether that move makes them a contender), what an incredible 2025 NBA Trade Deadline. The biggest LOSER on Deadline Day was the Phoenix Suns -- whose future now looks beyond bleak as they deal with the aftermath of failed Kevin Durant trade talks (and now: a toxic locker-room). But the Milwaukee Bucks aren't too far behind! KOC and Tom explain how the Kyle Kuzma deal spells doom for Milwaukee in the form of Giannis Antetokounmpo potentially asking for a trade as soon as this summer! And, why the Cleveland Cavaliers went from rich-to-richer in acquiring De'Andre Hunter from the Atlanta Hawks. Kevin explains why the Hawks' Deadline activity showed him that Trae Young's future in ATL is now in serious doubt. Plus: Tom and Kevin don't exactly see eye-to-eye on the MARK WILLIAMS fit with the Los Angeles Lakers. And what on earth were the Toronto Raptors doing acquiring Brandon Ingram? Why the Sacramento Kings acquisition of Jonas Valanciunas could be a jumbo-sized win, and so much more. This episode has it all, just hit play. Hebrews 8:3 For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices; so it is necessary that this high priest also have something to offer. The main ministry of every high priest was to offer both gifts and sacrifices to God on behalf of the people. With Jesus, it is no different. To come into God's presence, He did not come empty-handed. The author contrasted Jesus' ministry in the heavenly sanctuary with the earthly ministry of the high priests in the tabernacle and temple in the following verses, so I won't get ahead of the author on this one. Today, what comes to mind as I read this verse is that when Jesus entered the Holy Place with His own blood, He also brought us with Him. Think about this. Jesus offered us to God, so to speak. He presented us to God, holy, blameless, and beyond reproach. That's how Paul put it in Colossians 1:21-22. “And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach.” We were given to Jesus by the Father with the command to give us eternal life. Jesus prayed in John 17:1-3, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”  There we were, stained, ruined, and dead in our sins, separated from God. Through His blood sacrifice, He washed us, perfected us, and raised us up with Him to eternal life. So when Jesus came into the temple in heaven to worship His Father, He didn't come empty-handed. He presented a gift to God—His children, beloved and spotless, with eternal life. That's the love of God poured out to us. The love of God in the life of Jesus, the Son. We have the Son. We have the life. We have His love. We live on earth out of His love experienced in the heavenlies. I hope today your eyes will be opened to the hope of His calling you into eternal life in Jesus Christ.

These are just a few of the questions I wanted to ask Steve Leder—a bestselling author and a rabbi who has presided over a thousand funerals with wisdom and kindness.  In this conversation, we discuss:   The mysterious way beauty can be found the closer we inch to death (our own or someone else's). The next time you hear yourself chanting (y)our mantra, know that you're living in the reality where only that mantra can be, the only reality where it's being chanted. The one where you're being of service,  the one where you're being successful, the one where you have everything because you have God.  You are healing,  and you're healed.  You were before the wound. Meditate on God; no one returns empty-handed from His door." -Guru Arjan Dev Ji: SGGSJI: 79 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, it will be opened." - Matthew 14:7-8  "Wherever you turn, there is the face of God." -Quran 2:115 The Silence is (Y)our knocking. This Silence is The Answer. The 'problems' can't touch you,  they can't see you, when you're hearing This that will elevate you,  This that will join you with The One.   Don't go back.  To them, to that, or to being your old self.  Stay with Love.  I Love You I Am You nik "Truth is silent. If Truth has dawned within you, then there will be no further speech. It is silence, and silence is the greatest Truth, the best question. If there is no Truth, then there will be a lot of talk and questions. One is good and the other is bad. If there is good within you, there will be no further noise within. But if you are full of bad, there will be so much of talk, speeches, and questions. Therefore, seek the good. God does not make a noise. If you need anything, then you have only to knock, and if you are tuned to that point, with the sound of that knock, you will get an answer immediately. No noise, you do not have to make a sound. How should you show up for people in grief? What do you say? What should you do? Why is it that beauty can exist alongside deep suffering? What can be said at funerals when the person who died was complicated? These are just a few of the questions I wanted to ask Steve Leder—a bestselling author and a rabbi who has presided over a thousand funerals with wisdom and kindness. In this conversation, we discuss:   The mysterious way beauty can be found the closer we inch to death (our own or someone else's). The importance of just showing up. And being you.  Honoring someone's memory at the same time being truthful about how human they were The peace that comes from acknowledging that life is full of dualities  “If you have to go through hell, don't come out empty handed” (Steve Leder), but no, the lessons were never, ever worth the pain CW: suicide, adult language***Looking for the transcript or show notes?
