Un recorregut pel festival dedicat al documental musical a partir de les can

Íslandsmeistaramót í hrútadómum fór fram í gær á Sauðfjársetrinu á Ströndum. Okkur lék forvitni á að vita hvernig slík keppni fer fram og heyrðum í Sigríði Ólafsdóttur bónda, sem var einn dómara. Séra Þórhallur Heimisson hefur árum saman haldið vinsæl námskeið fyrir hjón og sambúðarfólk þar sem hann hjálpar fólki að styrkja sambönd sín. Þúsundir hafa sótt námskeiðin og nú er Þórhallur, sem er búsettur í Svíþjóð, kominn til landsins á ný til að halda námskeið og hann kíkti til okkar í morgunkaffi. Flestir skólar hefjast í þessari viku og því fylgja gjarna ýmis konar útgjöld. Erfitt getur reynst efnaminni fjölskyldum að mæta kostnaði sem fylgir skólagöngu og frístundum. Hjálparstarf kirkjunnar rekur verkefnið Ekkert barn útundan og býður fjölskyldum sem á þurfa að halda stuðning. Þær Sædís Arnardóttir félagsráðgjafi og Kristín Ólafsdóttir fræðslufulltrúi komu til okkar og sögðu frá þessu verkefni. Pála Marie Einarsdóttir, fótboltakona, hefur nú ákveðið að leggja skóna á hilluna. Ástæðan er höfuðhögg og einkenni Post concussion syndrome sem hún hefur þurft að kljást við. Pála vildi halda áfram en segir í pistil á FB síðu sinni að líkaminn hafi tekið málin í sínar hendur og hún hafi átt engra kosta völ. Pála Marie var gestur okkar í dag. Við fórum yfir íþróttir helgarinnar með Kristjönu Arnarsdóttur íþróttafréttamanni RÚV. Hið sívinsæla málfarshorn var á sínum stað, en Anna Sigríður Þráinsdóttir mætti til okkar og ræddi íslenskt mál, m.a. orðið sæng. Tónlist: Kenny Rogers - Coward of the county.
