Old Testament: 1 Samuel 24–25 1 Samuel 24–25 (Listen) David Spares Saul's Life 24 When Saul returned from following the Philistines, he was told, “Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi.” 2 Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel and went to seek David and his men in front of the Wildgoats' Rocks. 3 And he came to the sheepfolds by the way, where there was a cave, and Saul went in to relieve himself.1 Now David and his men were sitting in the innermost parts of the cave. 4 And the men of David said to him, “Here is the day of which the LORD said to you, ‘Behold, I will give your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you.'” Then David arose and stealthily cut off a corner of Saul's robe. 5 And afterward David's heart struck him, because he had cut off a corner of Saul's robe. 6 He said to his men, “The LORD forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the LORD's anointed, to put out my hand against him, seeing he is the LORD's anointed.” 7 So David persuaded his men with these words and did not permit them to attack Saul. And Saul rose up and left the cave and went on his way. 8 Afterward David also arose and went out of the cave, and called after Saul, “My lord the king!” And when Saul looked behind him, David bowed with his face to the earth and paid homage. 9 And David said to Saul, “Why do you listen to the words of men who say, ‘Behold, David seeks your harm'? 10 Behold, this day your eyes have seen how the LORD gave you today into my hand in the cave. And some told me to kill you, but I spared you.2 I said, ‘I will not put out my hand against my lord, for he is the LORD's anointed.' 11 See, my father, see the corner of your robe in my hand. For by the fact that I cut off the corner of your robe and did not kill you, you may know and see that there is no wrong or treason in my hands. I have not sinned against you, though you hunt my life to take it. 12 May the LORD judge between me and you, may the LORD avenge me against you, but my hand shall not be against you. 13 As the proverb of the ancients says, ‘Out of the wicked comes wickedness.' But my hand shall not be against you. 14 After whom has the king of Israel come out? After whom do you pursue? After a dead dog! After a flea! 15 May the LORD therefore be judge and give sentence between me and you, and see to it and plead my cause and deliver me from your hand.” 16 As soon as David had finished speaking these words to Saul, Saul said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” And Saul lifted up his voice and wept. 17 He said to David, “You are more righteous than I, for you have repaid me good, whereas I have repaid you evil. 18 And you have declared this day how you have dealt well with me, in that you did not kill me when the LORD put me into your hands. 19 For if a man finds his enemy, will he let him go away safe? So may the LORD reward you with good for what you have done to me this day. 20 And now, behold, I know that you shall surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in your hand. 21 Swear to me therefore by the LORD that you will not cut off my offspring after me, and that you will not destroy my name out of my father's house.” 22 And David swore this to Saul. Then Saul went home, but David and his men went up to the stronghold. The Death of Samuel 25 Now Samuel died. And all Israel assembled and mourned for him, and they buried him in his house at Ramah. David and Abigail Then David rose and went down to the wilderness of Paran. 2 And there was a man in Maon whose business was in Carmel. The man was very rich; he had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats. He was shearing his sheep in Carmel. 3 Now the name of the man was Nabal, and the name of his wife Abigail. The woman was discerning and beautiful, but the man was harsh and badly behaved; he was a Calebite. 4 David heard in the wilderness that Nabal was shearing his sheep. 5 So David sent ten young men. And David said to the young men, “Go up to Carmel, and go to Nabal and greet him in my name. 6 And thus you shall greet him: ‘Peace be to you, and peace be to your house, and peace be to all that you have. 7 I hear that you have shearers. Now your shepherds have been with us, and we did them no harm, and they missed nothing all the time they were in Carmel. 8 Ask your young men, and they will tell you. Therefore let my young men find favor in your eyes, for we come on a feast day. Please give whatever you have at hand to your servants and to your son David.'” 9 When David's young men came, they said all this to Nabal in the name of David, and then they waited. 10 And Nabal answered David's servants, “Who is David? Who is the son of Jesse? There are many servants these days who are breaking away from their masters. 11 Shall I take my bread and my water and my meat that I have killed for my shearers and give it to men who come from I do not know where?” 12 So David's young men turned away and came back and told him all this. 13 And David said to his men, “Every man strap on his sword!” And every man of them strapped on his sword. David also strapped on his sword. And about four hundred men went up after David, while two hundred remained with the baggage. 14 But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal's wife, “Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to greet our master, and he railed at them. 15 Yet the men were very good to us, and we suffered no harm, and we did not miss anything when we were in the fields, as long as we went with them. 16 They were a wall to us both by night and by day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep. 17 Now therefore know this and consider what you should do, for harm is determined against our master and against all his house, and he is such a worthless man that one cannot speak to him.” 18 Then Abigail made haste and took two hundred loaves and two skins of wine and five sheep already prepared and five seahs3 of parched grain and a hundred clusters of raisins and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on donkeys. 19 And she said to her young men, “Go on before me; behold, I come after you.” But she did not tell her husband Nabal. 20 And as she rode on the donkey and came down under cover of the mountain, behold, David and his men came down toward her, and she met them. 21 Now David had said, “Surely in vain have I guarded all that this fellow has in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that belonged to him, and he has returned me evil for good. 22 God do so to the enemies of David4 and more also, if by morning I leave so much as one male of all who belong to him.” 23 When Abigail saw David, she hurried and got down from the donkey and fell before David on her face and bowed to the ground. 24 She fell at his feet and said, “On me alone, my lord, be the guilt. Please let your servant speak in your ears, and hear the words of your servant. 25 Let not my lord regard this worthless fellow, Nabal, for as his name is, so is he. Nabal5 is his name, and folly is with him. But I your servant did not see the young men of my lord, whom you sent. 26 Now then, my lord, as the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, because the LORD has restrained you from bloodguilt and from saving with your own hand, now then let your enemies and those who seek to do evil to my lord be as Nabal. 27 And now let this present that your servant has brought to my lord be given to the young men who follow my lord. 28 Please forgive the trespass of your servant. For the LORD will certainly make my lord a sure house, because my lord is fighting the battles of the LORD, and evil shall not be found in you so long as you live. 29 If men rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living in the care of the LORD your God. And the lives of your enemies he shall sling out as from the hollow of a sling. 30 And when the LORD has done to my lord according to all the good that he has spoken concerning you and has appointed you prince6 over Israel, 31 my lord shall have no cause of grief or pangs of conscience for having shed blood without cause or for my lord working salvation himself. And when the LORD has dealt well with my lord, then remember your servant.” 32 And David said to Abigail, “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who sent you this day to meet me! 33 Blessed be your discretion, and blessed be you, who have kept me this day from bloodguilt and from working salvation with my own hand! 34 For as surely as the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, who has restrained me from hurting you, unless you had hurried and come to meet me, truly by morning there had not been left to Nabal so much as one male.” 35 Then David received from her hand what she had brought him. And he said to her, “Go up in peace to your house. See, I have obeyed your voice, and I have granted your petition.” 36 And Abigail came to Nabal, and behold, he was holding a feast in his house, like the feast of a king. And Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunk. So she told him nothing at all until the morning light. 37 In the morning, when the wine had gone out of Nabal, his wife told him these things, and his heart died within him, and he became as a stone. 38 And about ten days later the LORD struck Nabal, and he died. 39 When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, “Blessed be the LORD who has avenged the insult I received at the hand of Nabal, and has kept back his servant from wrongdoing. The LORD has returned the evil of Nabal on his own head.” Then David sent and spoke to Abigail, to take her as his wife. 40 When the servants of David came to Abigail at Carmel, they said to her, “David has sent us to you to take you to him as his wife.” 41 And she rose and bowed with her face to the ground and said, “Behold, your handmaid is a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.” 42 And Abigail hurried and rose and mounted a donkey, and her five young women attended her. She followed the messengers of David and became his wife. 43 David also took Ahinoam of Jezreel, and both of them became his wives. 44 Saul had given Michal his daughter, David's wife, to Palti the son of Laish, who was of Gallim. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? 8 This persuasion is not from him who calls you. 9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump. 10 I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is. 11 But if I, brothers,2 still preach3 circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed. 12 I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves! 13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. Keep in Step with the Spirit 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy,4 drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do5 such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Bear One Another's Burdens 6 Brothers,6 if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. 5 For each will have to bear his own load. 6 Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Final Warning and Benediction 11 See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. 12 It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. 14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which7 the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. 16 And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. 17 From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Psalms and Wisdom: Psalm 133 Psalm 133 (Listen) When Brothers Dwell in Unity A Song of Ascents. Of David. 133 Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!12 It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes!3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the LORD has commanded the blessing, life forevermore. From each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a chief among them.” 3 So Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran, according to the command of the LORD, all of them men who were heads of the people of Israel. 4 And these were their names: From the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur; 5 from the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat the son of Hori; 6 from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh; 7 from the tribe of Issachar, Igal the son of Joseph; 8 from the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Nun; 9 from the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu; 10 from the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi; 11 from the tribe of Joseph (that is, from the tribe of Manasseh), Gaddi the son of Susi; 12 from the tribe of Dan, Ammiel the son of Gemalli; 13 from the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael; 14 from the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi the son of Vophsi; 15 from the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi. 16 These were the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun Joshua. 17 Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan and said to them, “Go up into the Negeb and go up into the hill country, 18 and see what the land is, and whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, whether they are few or many, 19 and whether the land that they dwell in is good or bad, and whether the cities that they dwell in are camps or strongholds, 20 and whether the land is rich or poor, and whether there are trees in it or not. Be of good courage and bring some of the fruit of the land.” Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes. 21 So they went up and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin to Rehob, near Lebo-hamath. 22 They went up into the Negeb and came to Hebron. Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, were there. (Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.) 23 And they came to the Valley of Eshcol and cut down from there a branch with a single cluster of grapes, and they carried it on a pole between two of them; they also brought some pomegranates and figs. 24 That place was called the Valley of Eshcol,1 because of the cluster that the people of Israel cut down from there. Report of the Spies 25 At the end of forty days they returned from spying out the land. 26 And they came to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation of the people of Israel in the wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh. They brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. 27 And they told him, “We came to the land to which you sent us. It flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28 However, the people who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large. And besides, we saw the descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negeb. The Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the hill country. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and along the Jordan.” 30 But Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it.” 31 Then the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we are.” 32 So they brought to the people of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying, “The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people that we saw in it are of great height. 33 And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.” The People Rebel 14 Then all the congregation raised a loud cry, and the people wept that night. 2 And all the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The whole congregation said to them, “Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would that we had died in this wilderness! 3 Why is the LORD bringing us into this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become a prey. Would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4 And they said to one another, “Let us choose a leader and go back to Egypt.” 5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the people of Israel. 6 And Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes 7 and said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, “The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land. 8 If the LORD delights in us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that flows with milk and honey. 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the LORD is with us; do not fear them.” 10 Then all the congregation said to stone them with stones. But the glory of the LORD appeared at the tent of meeting to all the people of Israel. 11 And the LORD said to Moses, “How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them? 12 I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.” Moses Intercedes for the People 13 But Moses said to the LORD, “Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for you brought up this people in your might from among them, 14 and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, O LORD, are in the midst of this people. For you, O LORD, are seen face to face, and your cloud stands over them and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night. 15 Now if you kill this people as one man, then the nations who have heard your fame will say, 16 ‘It is because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land that he swore to give to them that he has killed them in the wilderness.' 17 And now, please let the power of the Lord be great as you have promised, saying, 18 ‘The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.' 19 Please pardon the iniquity of this people, according to the greatness of your steadfast love, just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt until now.” God Promises Judgment 20 Then the LORD said, “I have pardoned, according to your word. 21 But truly, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD, 22 none of the men who have seen my glory and my signs that I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and yet have put me to the test these ten times and have not obeyed my voice, 23 shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. And none of those who despised me shall see it. 24 But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it. 25 Now, since the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwell in the valleys, turn tomorrow and set out for the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea.” 26 And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 27 “How long shall this wicked congregation grumble against me? I have heard the grumblings of the people of Israel, which they grumble against me. 28 Say to them, ‘As I live, declares the LORD, what you have said in my hearing I will do to you: 29 your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness, and of all your number, listed in the census from twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against me, 30 not one shall come into the land where I swore that I would make you dwell, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun. 31 But your little ones, who you said would become a prey, I will bring in, and they shall know the land that you have rejected. 32 But as for you, your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness. 33 And your children shall be shepherds in the wilderness forty years and shall suffer for your faithlessness, until the last of your dead bodies lies in the wilderness. 34 According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, a year for each day, you shall bear your iniquity forty years, and you shall know my displeasure.' 35 I, the LORD, have spoken. Surely this will I do to all this wicked congregation who are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall come to a full end, and there they shall die.” 36 And the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation grumble against him by bringing up a bad report about the land—37 the men who brought up a bad report of the land—died by plague before the LORD. 38 Of those men who went to spy out the land, only Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive. Israel Defeated in Battle 39 When Moses told these words to all the people of Israel, the people mourned greatly. 40 And they rose early in the morning and went up to the heights of the hill country, saying, “Here we are. We will go up to the place that the LORD has promised, for we have sinned.” 41 But Moses said, “Why now are you transgressing the command of the LORD, when that will not succeed? 42 Do not go up, for the LORD is not among you, lest you be struck down before your enemies. 43 For there the Amalekites and the Canaanites are facing you, and you shall fall by the sword. Because you have turned back from following the LORD, the LORD will not be with you.” 44 But they presumed to go up to the heights of the hill country, although neither the ark of the covenant of the LORD nor Moses departed out of the camp. 45 Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who lived in that hill country came down and defeated them and pursued them, even to Hormah. Kings shall shut their mouths because of him, for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand.53 Who has believed what he has heard from us?3 And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?2 For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him.3 He was despised and rejected4 by men, a man of sorrows5 and acquainted with6 grief;7 and as one from whom men hide their faces8 he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.5 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people?9 And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief;9 when his soul makes10 an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see11 and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities.12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many,12 and he shall divide the spoil with the strong,13 because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors. Psalms and Wisdom: Psalm 132 Psalm 132 (Listen) The Lord Has Chosen Zion A Song of Ascents. 132 Remember, O LORD, in David's favor, all the hardships he endured,2 how he swore to the LORD and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,3 “I will not enter my house or get into my bed,4 I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids,5 until I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.” 6 Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah; we found it in the fields of Jaar.7 “Let us go to his dwelling place; let us worship at his footstool!” 8 Arise, O LORD, and go to your resting place, you and the ark of your might.9 Let your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let your saints shout for joy.10 For the sake of your servant David, do not turn away the face of your anointed one. 11 The LORD swore to David a sure oath from which he will not turn back: “One of the sons of your body1 I will set on your throne.12 If your sons keep my covenant and my testimonies that I shall teach them, their sons also forever shall sit on your throne.” 13 For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling place:14 “This is my resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it.15 I will abundantly bless her provisions; I will satisfy her poor with bread.16 Her priests I will clothe with salvation, and her saints will shout for joy.17 There I will make a horn to sprout for David; I have prepared a lamp for my anointed.18 His enemies I will clothe with shame, but on him his crown will shine.” Footnotes [1] 132:11 Hebrew of your fruit of the womb (ESV) Pentateuch and History: Numbers 12 Numbers 12 (Listen) Miriam and Aaron Oppose Moses 12 Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married, for he had married a Cushite woman. 2 And they said, “Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has he not spoken through us also?” And the LORD heard it. 3 Now the man Moses was very meek, more than all people who were on the face of the earth. 4 And suddenly the LORD said to Moses and to Aaron and Miriam, “Come out, you three, to the tent of meeting.” And the three of them came out. 5 And the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud and stood at the entrance of the tent and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forward. 6 And he said, “Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream. 7 Not so with my servant Moses. He is faithful in all my house. 8 With him I speak mouth to mouth, clearly, and not in riddles, and he beholds the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?” 9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them, and he departed. 10 When the cloud removed from over the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous,1 like snow. And Aaron turned toward Miriam, and behold, she was leprous. 11 And Aaron said to Moses, “Oh, my lord, do not punish us2 because we have done foolishly and have sinned. 12 Let her not be as one dead, whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes out of his mother's womb.” 13 And Moses cried to the LORD, “O God, please heal her—please.” 14 But the LORD said to Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut outside the camp seven days, and after that she may be brought in again.” 15 So Miriam was shut outside the camp seven days, and the people did not set out on the march till Miriam was brought in again. 16 After that the people set out from Hazeroth, and camped in the wilderness of Paran. Was it not you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the dragon?10 Was it not you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?11 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. 12 “I, I am he who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass,13 and have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor?14 He who is bowed down shall speedily be released; he shall not die and go down to the pit, neither shall his bread be lacking.15 I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD of hosts is his name.16 And I have put my words in your mouth and covered you in the shadow of my hand, establishing3 the heavens and laying the foundations of the earth, and saying to Zion, ‘You are my people.'” 17 Wake yourself, wake yourself, stand up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of the LORD the cup of his wrath, who have drunk to the dregs the bowl, the cup of staggering.18 There is none to guide her among all the sons she has borne; there is none to take her by the hand among all the sons she has brought up.19 These two things have happened to you— who will console you?— devastation and destruction, famine and sword; who will comfort you?420 Your sons have fainted; they lie at the head of every street like an antelope in a net; they are full of the wrath of the LORD, the rebuke of your God. 21 Therefore hear this, you who are afflicted, who are drunk, but not with wine:22 Thus says your Lord, the LORD, your God who pleads the cause of his people: “Behold, I have taken from your hand the cup of staggering; the bowl of my wrath you shall drink no more;23 and I will put it into the hand of your tormentors, who have said to you, ‘Bow down, that we may pass over'; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.” The Lord's Coming Salvation 52 Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean.2 Shake yourself from the dust and arise; be seated, O Jerusalem; loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. 3 For thus says the LORD: “You were sold for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money.” 4 For thus says the Lord GOD: “My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing.5 5 Now therefore what have I here,” declares the LORD, “seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Their rulers wail,” declares the LORD, “and continually all the day my name is despised. 6 Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here I am.” 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”8 The voice of your watchmen—they lift up their voice; together they sing for joy; for eye to eye they see the return of the LORD to Zion.9 Break forth together into singing, you waste places of Jerusalem, for the LORD has comforted his people; he has redeemed Jerusalem.10 The LORD has bared his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. 11 Depart, depart, go out from there; touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her; purify yourselves, you who bear the vessels of the LORD.12 For you shall not go out in haste, and you shall not go in flight, for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. You are serving the Lord Christ. 25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. 4 Masters, treat your bondservants2 justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. Further Instructions 2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. 3 At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison—4 that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak. 5 Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. 6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person. Final Greetings 7 Tychicus will tell you all about my activities. He is a beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow servant3 in the Lord. 8 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are and that he may encourage your hearts, 9 and with him Onesimus, our faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will tell you of everything that has taken place here. 10 Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you have received instructions—if he comes to you, welcome him), 11 and Jesus who is called Justus. These are the only men of the circumcision among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me. 12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God. 13 For I bear him witness that he has worked hard for you and for those in Laodicea and in Hierapolis. 14 Luke the beloved physician greets you, as does Demas. 15 Give my greetings to the brothers4 at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house. 16 And when this letter has been read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and see that you also read the letter from Laodicea. 17 And say to Archippus, “See that you fulfill the ministry that you have received in the Lord.” 18 I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! 3 If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?4 But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;6 my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. 7 O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.8 And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities. (ESV) Pentateuch and History: Numbers 10:11–36 Numbers 10:11–36 (Listen) Israel Leaves Sinai 11 In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud lifted from over the tabernacle of the testimony, 12 and the people of Israel set out by stages from the wilderness of Sinai. And the cloud settled down in the wilderness of Paran. 13 They set out for the first time at the command of the LORD by Moses. 14 The standard of the camp of the people of Judah set out first by their companies, and over their company was Nahshon the son of Amminadab. 15 And over the company of the tribe of the people of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar. 16 And over the company of the tribe of the people of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon. 17 And when the tabernacle was taken down, the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who carried the tabernacle, set out. 18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben set out by their companies, and over their company was Elizur the son of Shedeur. 19 And over the company of the tribe of the people of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. 20 And over the company of the tribe of the people of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel. 21 Then the Kohathites set out, carrying the holy things, and the tabernacle was set up before their arrival. 22 And the standard of the camp of the people of Ephraim set out by their companies, and over their company was Elishama the son of Ammihud. 23 And over the company of the tribe of the people of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. 24 And over the company of the tribe of the people of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni. 25 Then the standard of the camp of the people of Dan, acting as the rear guard of all the camps, set out by their companies, and over their company was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. 26 And over the company of the tribe of the people of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ochran. 27 And over the company of the tribe of the people of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan. 28 This was the order of march of the people of Israel by their companies, when they set out. 29 And Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law, “We are setting out for the place of which the LORD said, ‘I will give it to you.' Come with us, and we will do good to you, for the LORD has promised good to Israel.” 30 But he said to him, “I will not go. I will depart to my own land and to my kindred.” 31 And he said, “Please do not leave us, for you know where we should camp in the wilderness, and you will serve as eyes for us. 32 And if you do go with us, whatever good the LORD will do to us, the same will we do to you.” 33 So they set out from the mount of the LORD three days' journey. And the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them three days' journey, to seek out a resting place for them. 34 And the cloud of the LORD was over them by day, whenever they set out from the camp. 35 And whenever the ark set out, Moses said, “Arise, O LORD, and let your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate you flee before you.” 36 And when it rested, he said, “Return, O LORD, to the ten thousand thousands of Israel.” (ESV) Chronicles and Prophets: Isaiah 48–49 Isaiah 48–49 (Listen) Israel Refined for God's Glory 48 Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and who came from the waters of Judah, who swear by the name of the LORD and confess the God of Israel, but not in truth or right.2 For they call themselves after the holy city, and stay themselves on the God of Israel; the LORD of hosts is his name. 3 “The former things I declared of old; they went out from my mouth, and I announced them; then suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.4 Because I know that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew and your forehead brass,5 I declared them to you from of old, before they came to pass I announced them to you, lest you should say, ‘My idol did them, my carved image and my metal image commanded them.' 6 “You have heard; now see all this; and will you not declare it? From this time forth I announce to you new things, hidden things that you have not known.7 They are created now, not long ago; before today you have never heard of them, lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.'8 You have never heard, you have never known, from of old your ear has not been opened. For I knew that you would surely deal treacherously, and that from before birth you were called a rebel. 9 “For my name's sake I defer my anger; for the sake of my praise I restrain it for you, that I may not cut you off.10 Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried1 you in the furnace of affliction.11 For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how should my name2 be profaned? My glory I will not give to another. The Lord's Call to Israel 12 “Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I called! I am he; I am the first, and I am the last.13 My hand laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand forth together. 14 “Assemble, all of you, and listen! Who among them has declared these things? The LORD loves him; he shall perform his purpose on Babylon, and his arm shall be against the Chaldeans.15 I, even I, have spoken and called him; I have brought him, and he will prosper in his way.16 Draw near to me, hear this: from the beginning I have not spoken in secret, from the time it came to be I have been there.” And now the Lord GOD has sent me, and his Spirit. 17 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.18 Oh that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea;19 your offspring would have been like the sand, and your descendants like its grains; their name would never be cut off or destroyed from before me.” 20 Go out from Babylon, flee from Chaldea, declare this with a shout of joy, proclaim it, send it out to the end of the earth; say, “The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob!”21 They did not thirst when he led them through the deserts; he made water flow for them from the rock; he split the rock and the water gushed out. 22 “There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.” The Servant of the Lord 49 Listen to me, O coastlands, and give attention, you peoples from afar. The LORD called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.2 He made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me a polished arrow; in his quiver he hid me away.3 And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”34 But I said, “I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely my right is with the LORD, and my recompense with my God.” 5 And now the LORD says, he who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him; and that Israel might be gathered to him— for I am honored in the eyes of the LORD, and my God has become my strength—6 he says: “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” 7 Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel and his Holy One, to one deeply despised, abhorred by the nation, the servant of rulers: “Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall prostrate themselves; because of the LORD, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.” The Restoration of Israel 8 Thus says the LORD: “In a time of favor I have answered you; in a day of salvation I have helped you; I will keep you and give you as a covenant to the people, to establish the land, to apportion the desolate heritages,9 saying to the prisoners, ‘Come out,' to those who are in darkness, ‘Appear.' They shall feed along the ways; on all bare heights shall be their pasture;10 they shall not hunger or thirst, neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them, for he who has pity on them will lead them, and by springs of water will guide them.11 And I will make all my mountains a road, and my highways shall be raised up.12 Behold, these shall come from afar, and behold, these from the north and from the west,4 and these from the land of Syene.”5 13 Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing! For the LORD has comforted his people and will have compassion on his afflicted. 14 But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me; my Lord has forgotten me.” 15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.16 Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.17 Your builders make haste;6 your destroyers and those who laid you waste go out from you.18 Lift up your eyes around and see; they all gather, they come to you. As I live, declares the LORD, you shall put them all on as an ornament; you shall bind them on as a bride does. 19 “Surely your waste and your desolate places and your devastated land— surely now you will be too narrow for your inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up will be far away.20 The children of your bereavement will yet say in your ears: ‘The place is too narrow for me; make room for me to dwell in.'21 Then you will say in your heart: ‘Who has borne me these? I was bereaved and barren, exiled and put away, but who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; from where have these come?'” 22 Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and raise my signal to the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their arms,7 and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.23 Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame.” 24 Can the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant8 be rescued?25 For thus says the LORD: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.26 I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with wine. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: GENESIS 21:8-21 - 8 And the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned. 9 But Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, laughing. 10 So she said to Abraham, “Cast out this slave woman with her son, for the son of this slave woman shall not be heir with my son Isaac.” 11 And the thing was very displeasing to Abraham on account of his son. 12 But God said to Abraham, “Be not displeased because of the boy and because of your slave woman. Whatever Sarah says to you, do as she tells you, for through Isaac shall your offspring be named. 13 And I will make a nation of the son of the slave woman also, because he is your offspring.” 14 So Abraham rose early in the morning and took bread and a skin of water and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, along with the child, and sent her away. And she departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba. 15 When the water in the skin was gone, she put the child under one of the bushes. 16 Then she went and sat down opposite him a good way off, about the distance of a bowshot, for she said, “Let me not look on the death of the child.” And as she sat opposite him, she lifted up her voice and wept. 17 And God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he is. 18 Up! Lift up the boy, and hold him fast with your hand, for I will make him into a great nation.” 19 Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink. 20 And God was with the boy, and he grew up. He lived in the wilderness and became an expert with the bow. 21 He lived in the wilderness of Paran, and his mother took a wife for him from the land of Egypt. Morning: 1 Kings 10–11 1 Kings 10–11 (Listen) The Queen of Sheba 10 Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to test him with hard questions. 2 She came to Jerusalem with a very great retinue, with camels bearing spices and very much gold and precious stones. And when she came to Solomon, she told him all that was on her mind. 3 And Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing hidden from the king that he could not explain to her. 4 And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built, 5 the food of his table, the seating of his officials, and the attendance of his servants, their clothing, his cupbearers, and his burnt offerings that he offered at the house of the LORD, there was no more breath in her. 6 And she said to the king, “The report was true that I heard in my own land of your words and of your wisdom, 7 but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity surpass the report that I heard. 8 Happy are your men! Happy are your servants, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom! 9 Blessed be the LORD your God, who has delighted in you and set you on the throne of Israel! Because the LORD loved Israel forever, he has made you king, that you may execute justice and righteousness.” 10 Then she gave the king 120 talents1 of gold, and a very great quantity of spices and precious stones. Never again came such an abundance of spices as these that the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon. 11 Moreover, the fleet of Hiram, which brought gold from Ophir, brought from Ophir a very great amount of almug wood and precious stones. 12 And the king made of the almug wood supports for the house of the LORD and for the king's house, also lyres and harps for the singers. No such almug wood has come or been seen to this day. 13 And King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all that she desired, whatever she asked besides what was given her by the bounty of King Solomon. So she turned and went back to her own land with her servants. Solomon's Great Wealth 14 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was 666 talents of gold, 15 besides that which came from the explorers and from the business of the merchants, and from all the kings of the west and from the governors of the land. 16 King Solomon made 200 large shields of beaten gold; 600 shekels2 of gold went into each shield. 17 And he made 300 shields of beaten gold; three minas3 of gold went into each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon. 18 The king also made a great ivory throne and overlaid it with the finest gold. 19 The throne had six steps, and the throne had a round top,4 and on each side of the seat were armrests and two lions standing beside the armrests, 20 while twelve lions stood there, one on each end of a step on the six steps. The like of it was never made in any kingdom. 21 All King Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were of pure gold. None were of silver; silver was not considered as anything in the days of Solomon. 22 For the king had a fleet of ships of Tarshish at sea with the fleet of Hiram. Once every three years the fleet of ships of Tarshish used to come bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.5 23 Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom. 24 And the whole earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind. 25 Every one of them brought his present, articles of silver and gold, garments, myrrh,6 spices, horses, and mules, so much year by year. 26 And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. 27 And the king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stone, and he made cedar as plentiful as the sycamore of the Shephelah. 28 And Solomon's import of horses was from Egypt and Kue, and the king's traders received them from Kue at a price. 29 A chariot could be imported from Egypt for 600 shekels of silver and a horse for 150, and so through the king's traders they were exported to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria. Solomon Turns from the Lord 11 Now King Solomon loved many foreign women, along with the daughter of Pharaoh: Moabite, Ammonite, Edomite, Sidonian, and Hittite women, 2 from the nations concerning which the LORD had said to the people of Israel, “You shall not enter into marriage with them, neither shall they with you, for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love. 3 He had 700 wives, who were princesses, and 300 concubines. And his wives turned away his heart. 4 For when Solomon was old his wives turned away his heart after other gods, and his heart was not wholly true to the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. 5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 6 So Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the LORD and did not wholly follow the LORD, as David his father had done. 7 Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Molech the abomination of the Ammonites, on the mountain east of Jerusalem. 8 And so he did for all his foreign wives, who made offerings and sacrificed to their gods. The Lord Raises Adversaries 9 And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice 10 and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods. But he did not keep what the LORD commanded. 11 Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, “Since this has been your practice and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes that I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you and will give it to your servant. 12 Yet for the sake of David your father I will not do it in your days, but I will tear it out of the hand of your son. 13 However, I will not tear away all the kingdom, but I will give one tribe to your son, for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem that I have chosen.” 14 And the LORD raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite. He was of the royal house in Edom. 15 For when David was in Edom, and Joab the commander of the army went up to bury the slain, he struck down every male in Edom 16 (for Joab and all Israel remained there six months, until he had cut off every male in Edom). 17 But Hadad fled to Egypt, together with certain Edomites of his father's servants, Hadad still being a little child. 18 They set out from Midian and came to Paran and took men with them from Paran and came to Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt, who gave him a house and assigned him an allowance of food and gave him land. 19 And Hadad found great favor in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him in marriage the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen. 20 And the sister of Tahpenes bore him Genubath his son, whom Tahpenes weaned in Pharaoh's house. And Genubath was in Pharaoh's house among the sons of Pharaoh. 21 But when Hadad heard in Egypt that David slept with his fathers and that Joab the commander of the army was dead, Hadad said to Pharaoh, “Let me depart, that I may go to my own country.” 22 But Pharaoh said to him, “What have you lacked with me that you are now seeking to go to your own country?” And he said to him, “Only let me depart.” 23 God also raised up as an adversary to him, Rezon the son of Eliada, who had fled from his master Hadadezer king of Zobah. 24 And he gathered men about him and became leader of a marauding band, after the killing by David. And they went to Damascus and lived there and made him king in Damascus. 25 He was an adversary of Israel all the days of Solomon, doing harm as Hadad did. And he loathed Israel and reigned over Syria. 26 Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephraimite of Zeredah, a servant of Solomon, whose mother's name was Zeruah, a widow, also lifted up his hand against the king. 27 And this was the reason why he lifted up his hand against the king. Solomon built the Millo, and closed up the breach of the city of David his father. 28 The man Jeroboam was very able, and when Solomon saw that the young man was industrious he gave him charge over all the forced labor of the house of Joseph. 29 And at that time, when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him on the road. Now Ahijah had dressed himself in a new garment, and the two of them were alone in the open country. 30 Then Ahijah laid hold of the new garment that was on him, and tore it into twelve pieces. 31 And he said to Jeroboam, “Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘Behold, I am about to tear the kingdom from the hand of Solomon and will give you ten tribes 32 (but he shall have one tribe, for the sake of my servant David and for the sake of Jerusalem, the city that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel), 33 because they have7 forsaken me and worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of Moab, and Milcom the god of the Ammonites, and they have not walked in my ways, doing what is right in my sight and keeping my statutes and my rules, as David his father did. 34 Nevertheless, I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand, but I will make him ruler all the days of his life, for the sake of David my servant whom I chose, who kept my commandments and my statutes. 35 But I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand and will give it to you, ten tribes. 36 Yet to his son I will give one tribe, that David my servant may always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem, the city where I have chosen to put my name. 37 And I will take you, and you shall reign over all that your soul desires, and you shall be king over Israel. 38 And if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do what is right in my eyes by keeping my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did, I will be with you and will build you a sure house, as I built for David, and I will give Israel to you. 39 And I will afflict the offspring of David because of this, but not forever.'” 40 Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. But Jeroboam arose and fled into Egypt, to Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon. 41 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the Book of the Acts of Solomon? 42 And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years. 43 And Solomon slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David his father. And Rehoboam his son reigned in his place. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, 7 that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” 8 And they remembered his words, 9 and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. 10 Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles, 11 but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them. 12 But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened. On the Road to Emmaus 13 That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles1 from Jerusalem, 14 and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. 15 While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them. 16 But their eyes were kept from recognizing him. 17 And he said to them, “What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?” And they stood still, looking sad. 18 Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?” 19 And he said to them, “What things?” And they said to him, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20 and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. 21 But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened. 22 Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. They were at the tomb early in the morning, 23 and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive. 24 Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but him they did not see.” 25 And he said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. 28 So they drew near to the village to which they were going. He acted as if he were going farther, 29 but they urged him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent.” So he went in to stay with them. 30 When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight. 32 They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?” 33 And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, 34 saying, “The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” 35 Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread. Spies Sent into Canaan 13 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the people of Israel. 24 That place was called the Valley of Eshcol,3 because of the cluster that the people of Israel cut down from there. 33 And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.” Footnotes [1] 12:10 Leprosy was a term for several skin diseases; see Leviticus 13 [2] 12:11 Hebrew do not lay sin upon us [3] 13:24 Eshcol means cluster (ESV) Psalm 49 (Listen) Why Should I Fear in Times of Trouble? To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. 49 Hear this, all peoples! Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,2 both low and high, rich and poor together!3 My mouth shall speak wisdom; the meditation of my heart shall be understanding.4 I will incline my ear to a proverb; I will solve my riddle to the music of the lyre. 5 Why should I fear in times of trouble, when the iniquity of those who cheat me surrounds me,6 those who trust in their wealth and boast of the abundance of their riches?7 Truly no man can ransom another, or give to God the price of his life,8 for the ransom of their life is costly and can never suffice,9 that he should live on forever and never see the pit. 10 For he sees that even the wise die; the fool and the stupid alike must perish and leave their wealth to others.11 Their graves are their homes forever,1 their dwelling places to all generations, though they called lands by their own names.12 Man in his pomp will not remain; he is like the beasts that perish. 13 This is the path of those who have foolish confidence; yet after them people approve of their boasts.2 Selah14 Like sheep they are appointed for Sheol; death shall be their shepherd, and the upright shall rule over them in the morning. Their form shall be consumed in Sheol, with no place to dwell.15 But God will ransom my soul from the power of Sheol, for he will receive me. Selah 16 Be not afraid when a man becomes rich, when the glory of his house increases.17 For when he dies he will carry nothing away; his glory will not go down after him.18 For though, while he lives, he counts himself blessed —and though you get praise when you do well for yourself—19 his soul will go to the generation of his fathers, who will never again see light.20 Man in his pomp yet without understanding is like the beasts that perish. The Day of the Lord 6 For you have rejected your people, the house of Jacob, because they are full of things from the east and of fortune-tellers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners.7 Their land is filled with silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures; their land is filled with horses, and there is no end to their chariots.8 Their land is filled with idols; they bow down to the work of their hands, to what their own fingers have made.9 So man is humbled, and each one is brought low— do not forgive them!10 Enter into the rock and hide in the dust from before the terror of the LORD, and from the splendor of his majesty.11 The haughty looks of man shall be brought low, and the lofty pride of men shall be humbled, and the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. 12 For the LORD of hosts has a day against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up—and it shall be brought low;13 against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up; and against all the oaks of Bashan;14 against all the lofty mountains, and against all the uplifted hills;15 against every high tower, and against every fortified wall;16 against all the ships of Tarshish, and against all the beautiful craft.17 And the haughtiness of man shall be humbled, and the lofty pride of men shall be brought low, and the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.18 And the idols shall utterly pass away.19 And people shall enter the caves of the rocks and the holes of the ground,2 from before the terror of the LORD, and from the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth. 20 In that day mankind will cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which they made for themselves to worship, to the moles and to the bats,21 to enter the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffs, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth.22 Stop regarding man in whose nostrils is breath, for of what account is he? Footnotes [1] 2:3 Or teaching [2] 2:19 Hebrew dust (ESV) Hebrews 10 (Listen) Christ's Sacrifice Once for All 10 For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. 2 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? 3 But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. 5 Consequently, when Christ1 came into the world, he said, “Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me;6 in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure.7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.'” 8 When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), 9 then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. 10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But when Christ2 had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. 14 For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. 15 And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying, 16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,” 17 then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.” 18 Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin. The Full Assurance of Faith 19 Therefore, brothers,3 since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. 26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. 32 But recall the former days when, after you were enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings, 33 sometimes being publicly exposed to reproach and affliction, and sometimes being partners with those so treated. 34 For you had compassion on those in prison, and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one. 35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. 37 For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay;38 but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. With family: Numbers 10; Psalms 46–47 Numbers 10 (Listen) The Silver Trumpets 10 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Make two silver trumpets. Of hammered work you shall make them, and you shall use them for summoning the congregation and for breaking camp. 3 And when both are blown, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 4 But if they blow only one, then the chiefs, the heads of the tribes of Israel, shall gather themselves to you. 5 When you blow an alarm, the camps that are on the east side shall set out. 6 And when you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that are on the south side shall set out. An alarm is to be blown whenever they are to set out. 7 But when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow a long blast, but you shall not sound an alarm. 8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. The trumpets shall be to you for a perpetual statute throughout your generations. 9 And when you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before the LORD your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies. 10 On the day of your gladness also, and at your appointed feasts and at the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings. They shall be a reminder of you before your God: I am the LORD your God.” Israel Leaves Sinai 11 In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud lifted from over the tabernacle of the testimony, 12 and the people of Israel set out by stages from the wilderness of Sinai. 35 And whenever the ark set out, Moses said, “Arise, O LORD, and let your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate you flee before you.” 36 And when it rested, he said, “Return, O LORD, to the ten thousand thousands of Israel.” (ESV) Psalms 46–47 (Listen) God Is Our Fortress To the choirmaster. Of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth.1 A Song. 46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present2 help in trouble.2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,3 though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah 4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, how he has brought desolations on the earth.9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire.10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah God Is King over All the Earth To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. 47 Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!2 For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.3 He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet.4 He chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah 5 God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.6 Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!7 For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm!3 8 God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne.9 The princes of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is highly exalted! If I found you outside, I would kiss you, and none would despise me.2 I would lead you and bring you into the house of my mother— she who used to teach me. I would give you spiced wine to drink, the juice of my pomegranate.3 His left hand is under my head, and his right hand embraces me!4 I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you not stir up or awaken love until it pleases. 5 Who is that coming up from the wilderness, leaning on her beloved? Under the apple tree I awakened you. There your mother was in labor with you; there she who bore you was in labor. 6 Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy1 is fierce as the grave.2 Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the LORD.7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he3 would be utterly despised. Final Advice Others 8 We have a little sister, and she has no breasts. What shall we do for our sister on the day when she is spoken for?9 If she is a wall, we will build on her a battlement of silver, but if she is a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar. She 10 I was a wall, and my breasts were like towers; then I was in his eyes as one who finds4 peace. 11 Solomon had a vineyard at Baal-hamon; he let out the vineyard to keepers; each one was to bring for its fruit a thousand pieces of silver.12 My vineyard, my very own, is before me; you, O Solomon, may have the thousand, and the keepers of the fruit two hundred. For when Moses was about to erect the tent, he was instructed by God, saying, “See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.” 6 But as it is, Christ2 has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second. 8 For he finds fault with them when he says:3 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,9 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not continue in my covenant, and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.11 And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,' for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.12 For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” 13 In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. Anarchy, Civil War and Destruction Coming (Audio) David Eells - 4/26/23 The Eagle Devours Itself Missy Pollock - 3/16/23 (David's notes in red) I dreamed it was daytime. (In this dream daytime represents that The Powers That Be are no longer trying to hide their evil deeds. The un-Civil war becomes overt.) I saw two paratroopers dressed in camouflage uniforms falling through the sky and they hadn't pulled their ripcords yet. (These two camouflaged paratroopers represent the two factions in the military of the Alliance and the DS Beast who are warring overtly at the moment. The type in history that is being repeated is that Babylon/D.S. is falling to the Medio-Persian/Alliance empire. The military in the U.S. is split between these two which is the perfect scenario for a Civil war.) The paratrooper on the right shot the other paratrooper on the left with a rifle in the stomach. (The right wing of the Eagle is defeating the left wing.) The paratrooper on the left that was shot was surprised and said to those in command via some kind of communication device, "I've been shot!" Then I woke up. (At this time the right wing is shooting the left-wing soldiers, be they military or not.) (I was reading up a little on paratroopers and they are used strategically to drop forces behind enemy lines and to quickly get boots on the ground where needed.)(At this point this is a covert war so it's all behind enemy lines.) These were my verses I received by faith at random for the morning meeting that the Lord told me go with the dream. I got these verses the night before I had the dream! Dan 11:4, (in context 1-4) [1] And as for me, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to confirm and strengthen him. [2] And now will I show thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and when he is waxed strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece. [3] And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. [4] And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion wherewith he ruled; for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others besides these. (In general, Babylon was conquered by Media-Persia, which was conquered by Greece.) The Division of America at Election Time Prophet Ken Dewey - 4/20/23 (David's notes in red) What I hear [from the Lord] is that “The Elections will not satisfactorily happen in 2024 and when they do not, there will be a great exodus from Washington DC, and they will start another government over the true America somewhere in the south.” (What we are hearing is that after NESARA/GESARA is declared, there must be an election within 120 days for the new republic of the U.S. This would make his statement above of the election in 2024 correct for it would not come to pass.) Years ago, I heard that there would be a great division in this land and a huge Civil War. This, in part, has already begun. But things will get worse, until the end of present things. Years ago, I heard The LORD say, “If America does not repent of abortion, He would smash this nation to pieces.” That, in part, has already begun to happen — and I heard [Him say] He is “greatly concerned about the morality in America.” Years ago, I also heard the LORD say, “The South will rise again — but this time when they do they will not be fighting to keep slaves, but will be fighting against becoming slaves.” This, in part, has already happened. Today we see many Southern States — or states identifying as such — becoming bolder and making great changes from the present administration, and The Deep State. If you will take, note of this one fact: our rightful President [who was refused office by a dishonest vote], has moved to Florida. If you will note, there is strong leadership also in Florida — but, one only needs to read the news to see there is great leadership coming out of Texas and other Southern States. Years ago, I heard the LORD say, “The Government will fall down so hard in Washington DC that the Government will have to be rebuilt.” (There is no government in Washington D.C. now. All the previous buildings have been closed down.) I heard Him say that “New leaders would rise up in Texas and the South.” I hear [Him say] today, “Men will not continue to be forced to live by the present social and global leaders in this nation. Enough is enough!” (The D.S. is falling.) I hear reports (already happening and spoken) about whole States and even parts of States seceding from the United States of America (The USA) and becoming sovereign within themselves. The rustling of this move is already in the air. I personally hear [the Lord say] that to vote this time, will not even count. Men must do more than vote. What I have not heard for sure, is who may be the true American President after 2024. (It is possible that Trump will go into the presidency before the 2024 election since many states have decertified the vote from 2020.) But already there are very capable men rising to this task. When the American people are forced beyond what they are able to bear, they will elect a true President. That President could, very well, be ex-President Trump. He certainly is one who is leading out. Who the new American Government will elect as president will be yet decided… But one thing I hear that is very likely……. It will not be in Washington DC.! I hear that God will not force men in America to serve Him, but when they reject Him, the LORD will simply reject them. Even as it says in Romans that, when they did not like to even retain the knowledge of God, then God gave them up to live as they please. The LORD simply pulled back and watched them, awaiting their final judgment, some day. History is repeating itself! One thing for sure I hear today, is that God will never forsake His People in this Nation, and anywhere else. God will forever lead them into a greater life with Him. I hear the greater life is coming for people in America who love God and choose Him. And I hear that God will fight for them to protect them. I have written this Word as led to speak. I have only said what I have heard said to me. The thoughts here are led by The Holy Spirit. Romans 1:28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. Blood on the U.S. Flag Michael Boldea Jr. - October 2003 HandofHelp.com (David's notes in red) In early January, our ministry was notified by a supporter in Florida that as her husband was looking at the 2004 Marine Calendar February page and he noticed a Marine standing by the flag. At that moment he saw in a vision the flag drip with blood. There is great significance to the dream Michael was given and we know before God allows judgments or warnings, he always warns, and God always prepares his people. Psalm 32: 6-7, For this cause everyone who is Godly shall pray to you in a time when you maybe found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not come near him. You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall surround me with songs of deliverance. It was October 11th, … [and] During the night I had a dream. I dreamed I was kneeling by my bedside praying when I felt a presence behind me. I turned, and a man was standing there, dressed in white, his hands clasped in front of him. It was the same man I had seen in a dream sometime earlier. "Why didn't you say something, if you were standing there," I asked. "I would never interrupt your communion with the Father," he answered. It was a precious thing. Take my hand, I must show you something." I took his hand and suddenly we were standing in front of the U.S. Marine War Memorial. It is a statue depicting a group of soldiers raising the American flag on Iwo Jima in WW2. I looked to the man standing on my right, but he pointed toward the statue, and said, "Look at the flag." As I was watching the flag flap in the wind, a red spot appeared in its center, it began to grow, and spread turning the flag red as it went. It was like someone had spilled this red liquid in the flag's center, and [it was] absorbing it, the stain continued to grow. I watched, as the entire flag became saturated, until it finally started to drip. To my surprise, I realized the liquid dripping from the flag was blood. "What is this supposed to mean"? I asked the man. "The leaders of this nation have war on their hearts, and on their lips, and soon they will have blood on their hands. The banner of war is upon this land” the man answered solemnly. (The DS Eugenicists would love to kill as many people on the planet as possible and profit from their schemes and tactics all at the same time.) Before I could ask anything more, I found myself sitting up in bed in a cold sweat. I shared this dream with a friend that Sunday night, as I happened to be speaking in his church in Topeka. I also shared it with Geno and the rest of the staff here at the Hand Of Help office, but in my heart I decided not to make it public until after the holidays. … Then 3 weeks after this dream I had another. I dreamed the same man was standing by my bedside, but he was no longer dressed in white. Over his robe, he had a breastplate, and as he stood, I could see the handle of his sword protruding from behind his right shoulder. It was the fiercest image I had ever seen in my life, but I was not afraid. Kindness still showed in his eyes, and I knew he meant me no harm. As I looked up at him the one thing that struck me was that his breastplate was not shiny. For some reason, I had expected it to shine, rather it was dented and scarred, and looked as though it had seen much battle. He looked down at me with what I could only describe as disappointment in his eyes. Before I could speak, he said, "For a vessel to fulfill its task, substance must be poured into it, then that same substance must be poured out. If it is never poured out, it will overflow, being of use to no one. Do you understand?" I nodded half heartedly, although I knew what he was trying to tell me. "When a vessel is chosen it is an honor," he continued, "Be faithful in completing your task and share what is given you without delay. Come I will show you once more.” Once again, we stood before the monument and the same scene played out. "When will this happen?" I asked, before he could turn away. "When the Father wills it", he answered. "His will be done.” "Can't you ask him?" I asked, realizing only after the words had left my mouth how infantile the question had been. "You speak of the things your mind cannot comprehend". "You speak of time concerning the One to whom centuries are no more then a blink of an eye. Be diligent in what you have been shown, and more will be revealed. All things proceed as He ordains, that is all you are given to know for now." The dream ended, and I found myself in bed. I have had some time to contemplate this dream, and if I was one given to speculation there are many theories, I could come up with but I am [will] not. What I do know, is whether in retaliation for a certain action, or as a preemptive measure, this nation will set out on a course that will eventually be the cause of innocents losing their lives. This nation will, be perceived as having blood on its hands and it will stir the emotions of the world against it. I pray with all my heart this does not occur; that all who are denoting peace and safety for generations to come are right, and I am wrong. (He is not wrong. The Bible prophesies no peace until Jesus returns at His second coming at the end of the Tribulation.) Regardless of what some may think, I do not want to see the judgment of God fall on this land, but the path we have chosen as a nation is leading us to it. More then ever, I urge you to pray for this nation and its leaders, because it is our duty as children of God to do so. May he who ordains all things be with you and guide you, knowing that in Him there is perfect safety, and perfect peace… The Eagle and the Serpents Michael Boldea Jr. - October 15, 2004 HandofHelp.com (David's notes in red) (This is the message God gave Michael Boldea through a dream while he was in North Carolina. He asked for a confirmation of this message and asked God simply to give him the dream again if it was from Him. The next night he had the same dream.) …I dreamt I was walking through a sparsely wooded forest, and suddenly my attention was drawn to an eagle flying high above the tree line. It was a beautiful sight to behold as the eagle rode the thermals, flying in slow lazy arks across the blue sky. I began to quicken my pace, and keep up with the eagle's flight, all the while keeping an eye on it, noticing that it was slowly descending toward the earth. I followed it for a long time, its descent not being sudden, but very gradual. (The U.S. is falling away more and more from a heavenly position.) Finally, I came upon a small clearing, where there were no trees, just some bushes on the edges of the green grass. The eagle landed in the clearing and began to look around not seeming to notice me. As I began to wonder what the relevance of this was, a man dressed in white, hands clasped in front of him, appeared beside me, and said, "Be patient, in due time you will see the purpose." I was silent as I watched the eagle, and was beginning to grow somewhat impatient, when suddenly, it seemed out of nowhere, a brown snake lunged at the eagle, and bit down on its left wing. (The brown Nazi snake from Operation Paperclip has destroyed the Left wing.) The snake's strike was very quick and very precise. The eagle reacted without delay, clawing, and pecking at the snake cutting deep wounds in its underbelly, trying to defend itself and ward off the serpent. Just as it seemed the eagle was winning the battle, and the serpent was retreating, another serpent appeared, red and black diagonal stripes covering its body, (Red and black are the colors of Anarchy. The D.S. has many anarchists to begin their overt Civil War.) and without hesitation struck out at the eagle's right wing, biting down, and refusing to release. (The Alliance is expecting this and is planning martial law to be able to destroy the anarchists.) After a momentary tug of war, the serpent tore off flesh and feathers, leaving a large wound on the eagle's right wing. (Eventually the right wing of the US Government represented by the Trump/White Hats will be wounded.) The second bite was much worse than the first, and for an instant the eagle was stunned. Then a serpent much larger than the previous two, made up of many colors, slithered toward the eagle, opened its jaws, and lunged, taking the whole of the eagle's head in its mouth before biting down. (This is the final One World Order Beast of Revelation 13, represented by Alexander the Great, thought by some to be Obama.) The serpents retreated and the man who had been standing beside me, walked to the eagle, knelt down, picked it up, and held it in his cupped hands. The look of grief on his face was beyond any I have seen in my life. Just seeing the look on the man's face broke your heart. (There is no doubt that DS Babylon as a political and economic force will be destroyed by our Cyrus/Trump. This does not mean the anarchy guerilla war, with CCP, help will be over. The freedoms we have known, that the Eagle at high altitude enjoyed, will be over with the headship of our own nation. The Beast of Revelations will rule with the alien/demons.) The man continued to look down at the eagle, and with a pained voice said, "The true tragedy, is that at any moment it could have sought the safety of the above, it could have soared toward the heavens and would have found its protection. (2Ch. 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.) This has been revealed to you, that you may know, the first bite has been, the second is yet to come, and the third will be its destruction.” (This dream was in 2004. Since then, the Nazi's have taken over the Left wing. We are about to witness the second bite of the Anarchist, Civil War snake. We just passed the 248th anniversary of “the shot heard around the world” on April 20th that began the Revolutionary war.) I watched for a long time as the man held the eagle in the palms of his hands, the pained expression never leaving his features. I was too stunned to speak, or ask any questions, what I had seen having seemed so real. (I Woke up) Worldwide Rebellion Released Claire Pienaar - 3/26/23 (David's Notes in Red) I dreamed I was sitting in a white lounge. (The white lounge represents purity and resting in our continual Sabbath rest.) I was sitting with my dad's twin sister. (The dad's twin sister represents those who have the same nature and character of the Father.) My mother-in-law and her children used to stay in this house, but they were no longer living there, although some of their belongings were still there. (The legalistic Apostates and their children will be separated from the true house of God that requires sanctification and rest from our works. Gal. 5:4 Ye are severed from Christ, ye who would be justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace.) I saw the DVD case of a rock band's concert tour that my older brother-in-law had gone to with his young son. The DVD case was red and black, and it said “Rebellion World Tour” on it. (Red and Black are the colors of Anarchy which is rebellion against the establishment authority. The D.S. plans to disrupt the declass on TVs of all their criminal activity with anarchy during the “10 days of darkness”.) My aunt turned on the DVD player and, as it came on the TV, I felt a hot wave emanate from the TV all over the world. I knew a spirit of rebellion had been unleashed. (Yes. Witchcraft and rebellion have been released across the world in pockets and it will increase and become even worse as we head into the 7-year Tribulation. The Lord has told us that He will use the D.S. war to bring down apostates and factious people. 2Ti. 3:1-9 But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away. 6 For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts, 7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth. Men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further. For their folly shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also came to be.) The men were hard rock or death metal people, with long hair, and some were dressed up as wizards. Others were only dressed in black and grey. As they started singing, I saw them speak out curses. (Could this represent the MSM witches with their mass propaganda campaigns to hypnotize and brainwash the masses. Also, the witches have all aligned with the Left wing and send forth curses against the Right wing and its leaders.) Then I woke up. Slaying the Dragon Marie Kelton - 2/17/23 (David's notes in red) I had a dream of being in a stairwell. I was at the top of the stairs and at the bottom was a huge black dragon that was blocking me from leaving. His eyes were yellow with black pupils. The Dragon (Satan) was staring at me menacingly. I became afraid and was going to run into a room that was next to the stairs, to my left. But then I heard a voice say, "He is a defeated foe." I then had the courage to run down the stairs with my sword and slew the dragon, which was easier than I thought because all I did was cut of his tail (Representing false prophets of the MSM and apostates. Isa 9:15: The elder and the honorable man, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.) (Take down the false media and the dragon of the Devil in DS Babylon is finished. They are about to bring down their satellites and prosecute them. The Alliance will own the media. A world Civil war will be raised up. It's evident that though the D.S. will lose, it will greatly damage the Alliance and will make way for the Grecian Anti-Christ empire to fill the void. Everything will change. We have seen some evidence that Obama's clone is killed, and he escapes to fulfill the type of Alexander the great of the next beast kingdom represented by Greece.) Marie went on to say: I was celebrating joyfully, as I was going down the second flight of stairs leaving the place, I was in. Then I saw a white cloth or shirt with streaks of blood on it. Then I woke up. The Violent Take it by Force Debbie Fenske - October 2022 (David's notes in red) I remember on our Zoom meeting, concerning someone's scripture David said, "We have to be violent in our warfare against the enemy." This reminded me of 1Sa. 15 where Samuel rebuked Saul for disobeying God for not killing Agag the king of the Amalekites, but brought him back with some sheep, that he also was commanded to kill. So, after all that took place between them, Saul went back with Samuel to worship the Lord. Then Samuel had Agag brought to him, and Samuel cut him into pieces. So, …even before this dream began, I knew in my sub conscious that I was going to be shown something. I dreamed I saw myself, wearing a red jacket, standing way up high in the sky on a very large, white platform of hard rock. (The red jacket represents being covered by the sacrificial blood of Jesus and being up in heavenly places in Him and being founded on the Rock which the Bible says represents Christ.) I saw some of the white base that was supporting the platform, extending down. All around me was the dark, blueish-black night sky filled with so many stars. When I looked way down, all I could see were tiny lights far and wide. Then I turned and I saw a man near the front of this platform. He was wearing a blue suit jacket. This man was violently hacking at something, or someone. He would not stop, and his jacket was flapping hard against his body as he kept on doing this. As I was looking at this man, his build reminded me of President Trumps. (Well, President Trump is known for his violent warfare against the enemies of the people. What we have seen is that what president Trump is in the natural world, the Man-child is in the spiritual world.) Then I noticed he was wearing a red tie that was loose and flying in the air as he kept doing this violent hacking. … Then I woke up. (I believe God was showing me how we should … always be ready to do this violent warfare. This dream is showing us how we have that authority. We must keep our feet standing on the solid rock, (of Christ), knowing we are made righteous through our faith in the blood of Jesus who is our righteousness. And if we are keeping our mind in heavenly places, not forgetting as we look at the world around us, we have the authority to violently come against all the spiritual wickedness in high places, and over Satan, the prince of darkness, himself. It must be second nature to be ready to go immediately into spiritual warfare, and not be complacent about it, but forceful and violent; knowing that the weapons of spiritual warfare are ours. They are powerful and mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.) Our Authority in His Name Tiannah Fire - 4/19/23 (David's notes in red) I was in the half-awake, half-asleep state, and I saw and experienced how everything in this world and all unclean spirits were literally under me or Jesus in me, and we are high above it all, spiritually. (Nothing can compare to the pure, holy Name of Jesus. Luk 10:17 Now the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in thy name. I saw, clearer than ever, that I am a child of the Creator of everything, and Jesus is living in me completely and that how Jesus in me has ALL power and authority over everything. 1Jn 4:4 YE are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is the one in you than the one in the world. I saw this all so clear, in full, 100% without any doubt, unbelief, or hindrance. I saw it more true and real than anything I have ever experienced. Although I believe all of this is true and speak and confess the Word, I don't always manifest it yet. This is the only time I have felt or experienced it fully. But, in this experience, I was fully manifesting it, and it was so awesome and so real, beyond any words to properly describe it. I saw that absolutely nothing evil can touch me, and with one word or with just a thought; the sick were healed, the devils fled as they knew it's Christ in me. When in this state, I knew that the spirits and creation knew that it was Jesus in me in all His power and authority and they knew there was nothing they could do. (Awesome power is in the Name of Jesus!) When awake, I normally battle doubt and not knowing my identity in Christ, and this hinders His power flowing through me. The devil knows this and is always trying to get us to doubt. But in this experience, there was no doubt. It was like I could see through all the lies, deception, and carnality and I could see all truth. Everything felt so real, and it was more awesome than any words can say. The unclean spirits I saw just looked at me and they knew it was Jesus so, they didn't even bother doing anything. With just a thought they were stopped, and they couldn't do anything else without Jesus giving them the green light. It felt like it was the Word and Jesus fully manifested in me. There was no flesh left; nothing blocking Jesus from manifesting. (This vision or experience represents a glimpse of a time when we will have overcome through Jesus the Man-child in us.) It was disappointing when I fully woke up, and the experience faded away, but I believe for God's grace for all of us and for Him to manifest Himself fully through us all. I pray for us to all be completely dead to everything unholy and everything that hinders us spiritually. Anarchy, Civil War and Destruction Coming (2) (Audio) David Eells - 4/30/23 The Lord's Evil Army Marie Kelton - 4/21/23 (David's notes in red) During the meeting, I had an open vision of a demonic army. They were very huge and tall, and I knew they had weapons. I heard the Lord say, “This army is for the evil ones, and the disobedient.” (This is very similar to the demonic army warring through the Assyrian Northern army in Joel that took down apostate Israel and Judah but not Jerusalem, the Bride.) (This verse came to mind: Joel 2:7-11 They run like mighty men; they climb the wall like men of war; and they march everyone on his ways, and they break not their ranks. Neither doth one thrust another; they march everyone in his path; and they burst through the weapons and break not off their course. They leap upon the city; they run upon the wall; they climb up into the houses; they enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth quaketh before them; the heavens tremble; the sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining. And Jehovah uttereth his voice before his army; (God claims sovereignty over all vessels good and bad.) for his camp is very great; for he is strong that executeth his word; for the ; for the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Speaking to the Bride the Lord says in, Isa. 54:15-17 Behold, they may gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall because of thee. 16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the fire of coals, and bringeth forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah. (And here we see the same scenario; the Lord using the evil army to take down the enemies of the Bride.) Isa. 62:11 – 63:4, Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. 12 And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah: and thou shalt be called Sought out, A city not forsaken. 63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winevat? (Representing the slaughter of the factious Edomites in Church and deep state, who warred against the Bride.) 3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yea, I trod them in mine anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment. 4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. (Here is another beast army taking down the enemies of the Bride. Isa 66:5-7 Hear the word of Jehovah, ye that tremble at his word: Your brethren that hate you, that cast you out for my name's sake, have said, Let Jehovah be glorified, that we may see your joy; but it is they that shall be put to shame. 6 A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of Jehovah that rendereth recompense to his enemies. (Here we see the Lord's recompence to His enemies of the Bride and her reward of the Man-child that follows.) 7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man-child. Psa 136:13 To him that divided the Red Sea in sunder; For his lovingkindness endureth forever. God's people were at peace with the Egyptians until they factioned against God's people and chased them into the Red Sea where the waves collapsed upon them and destroyed the faction. The waves represented the D.S. army who have already destroyed the faction and the apostates through the vaccine. We know that greater plagues are now coming, including the destruction of the food and the poisoning of the water, air, and food sources, and invasion of the anarchists and invasion over our southern border.) Back to Marie: An angel of the Lord was standing and watching the demonic army march on. Then, I saw the Lord, on a throne behind the demonic army. (Isa. 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things.) The Lord was dressed as a king, and his right arm was raised with his index finger pointed out. He seemed like he was giving directions to the army. I saw this twice. I thought to myself, “I'm just seeing things.” and I wasn't going to write it down. I then saw the Lord come off his throne and his garments changed into a white linen robe. The Lord walked up to me and handed me a pencil and a pad of paper. I knew, then, that he wanted me to write the vision down. Anna thought of this verse when I told her the vision, Psa. 78:48-49, He gave over their cattle also to the hail, And their flocks to hot thunderbolts. He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, Wrath, and indignation, and trouble, A band of angels of evil. Satan's Cyclone Army Tianna Fire - 4/25/23 (David's notes in red) I saw, from a bird's eye view, a large desert part of a country that was isolated, and I couldn't see many people above ground there. I saw what looked like a black storm cyclone starting to form, and it was moving clockwise but staying in the same spot. (The U.S. is isolated on both coasts by oceans and there is a D.S. army gathering, represented by the black cyclone, made up of anarchists in the country and Chinese military age men gathering below the boarder to meet up with the anarchists. Pro. 1:27 When your fear cometh as a storm, And your calamity cometh on as a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. And Pro. 10:25 When the whirlwind passeth, the wicked is no more; But the righteous is an everlasting foundation.) It grew bigger and larger very quickly and it became bigger than the size of Texas. It was a very dark, black color, not white. (I looked up to see if black cyclones were really a thing and in images it produced a “Saturn cyclone” (Saturn which represents satan). (As in Marie's dream above the physical armies have a demonic army among them operating to conquer America.) I had understanding that it was going to soon move down onto the earth in areas where people were. I heard, “They are conjuring up a portal to hell.” (Soon the demon army will take control of the invading armies and the underground war will become visible.) Then I woke up. This reminded me of a song picture called “black cyclone- death is king” and a creepy fake black cyclone with a blue eyeball from a video game is that is a Black/Floating enemy that appears in Event Stages. (The floating enemy is the demon army.) Precision in Prayer and Warfare Over Enemies Dana Coverstone - July 2022 (David's notes in red) Youtube Video Link …I had this dream for 18 days in a row and on the 18th day, the “Archer” in this dream showed up and that's when I knew the dream is either over or I'm going to learn what the dream is about.) (I asked the Lord if our authority over the forces of darkness will annul some of this coming judgment and got a YES. Then I asked if we have authority to annul all of this and got a NO. So, pray and ask directions to exercise your authority.) … The dream started on June 15, 2022. I was standing in a shipping yard where large containers were being lifted off of the container ships by … huge cranes.… and there was a sign that said, “Port of Los Angeles.” (A port is an entrance into the country. Los Angeles means, “The Angels”. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, meaning of course, knowledge or wisdom. As we will see, the Chinese Communist Party are leading a revolution of anarchy against conservatism and Christianity. Although they have been badly wounded by the Alliance, they are capable of doing small things that cause big trouble.) I saw 8, jet black containers that were set on the ground about 15 feet apart …and they were pristinely clean. … with large Chinese or oriental letters on them. These large letters were in black and they were about five feet tall by five feet wide and they had a brownish black background behind them, so they stood out almost like 3D on the containers. (5X5 is a military term meaning, “Loud and clear." As we will see, these events take place in broad daylight. Our enemies are not even trying to hide what they are doing any longer.) They were very suspicious and just set aside or apart from everything else. (The black indicates some clandestine plans that are being revealed or some darkness.[Deception being brought into this country.]) … It was broad daylight, not night, and I could see a large clock tower that seemed to be suspended high above the shipping facility. It was exactly set on 3:00 in the afternoon and when I saw this, all the eight doors of those shipping containers …began to bang like someone was inside them trying get out. There were no people outside of the containers but I saw they began to shake and they were banging violently. (There was a hidden agenda about to be revealed. The clock tower was showing us a sign. Jesus went to the cross at about the third hour and it was dark on the earth for about 3 hours. I want to emphasize that it was bright light outside, it wasn't high noon, but you could see everything that was going on.) Suddenly, the door of the first container opened and a man in military equipment rode out on a very large, green, dirt bike like a Kawasaki. It had saddle bags on both sides and very large knobby tires. These dirt bikes were higher caliber dirt bikes. The guy that pulled out on this motorcycle was covered in military gear. He had an AK-47 over his back and he took his helmet off and stepped off the bike and put the kickstand down. (off-road bikes can go anywhere in the city or country. [Representing the ability to infiltrate any area of the country desired.]) When he took his helmet off, he was revealing himself as an oriental man. (The Chinese CCP is D.S. and are fighting to subvert and overthrow the country.) He began violently screaming towards the trucks and the shipping containers. He was pointing in different directions and looking back at the trucks… He was violently angry and his face was very very red. Suddenly, he just stopped and checked his watch. Then he put his helmet back on and got back on the motorcycle and started revving the engine. It just revs and revs and revs. He has not put it in gear and, all at once, that clock tower struck 4:00 and there was this deep sounding bell that rang out and the whole earth shook. I mean the whole earth just shook so angrily, even where I was, standing in the background watching. (We've got to face the fact that, not just our natural enemies of America are angry but our spiritual enemy is angry right now, as things are being revealed. I think doors are opening and things are happening… I believe we're about to see something happen that's going to shake the earth and it's going to start a downhill trend of things or events from here.) (We have dreams where mad scientists are planning great earthquakes in the U.S. Since this is all in the daylight, it's possible that they want a distraction so the invasion can come across the border as we will see. We've been told that the White Hats plan on intercepting the invasion and turning it around, and as we can see, for some reason this doesn't happen.) Then, out of each of those other containers including the one the man came out of, rode about 25 soldiers on the same kind of motorcycles with the same kind of saddlebags and the same AK-47's across their backs. I could also see rocket propelled grenades, lots of ammo, and weapons in those saddlebags and they were hardly able to be strapped down because they were loaded for bear. (200 soldiers with this kind of weaponry could do a lot of damage in the right places but they could also be military advisors for the invaders coming across the border and sleeper cells. These weapons could also represent deceptions of words and propaganda to cause anarchy since the Chinese own all the media outlets.) When the first soldier, who had been revving his engine and giving the instructions, took off out of that port, the rest of them followed and I could see that when they got beyond the large fence of the Los Angeles Port, they took off, just speeding heavily in all different directions. (Meaning they are independently sent to join different groups.) (Now these weapons were definitely going to be used to attack and we know the church has been under attack and crisis pregnancy centers have been under attack but the Bible says, “Judgment begins in the house of God ” and … we've got people who are calling themselves Christians supporting abortions and others things … that God calls abominable. …I believe we're about to see a greater outpouring of judgment on the house of God which is Biblical. In that sense, this could very well show, not just attacks on the country, but attacks on the Church. (This is what God has told us is coming and what Babylon did to the apostates using sword, famine, and pestilence.) Ezekiel chapter 8:16-18 says, And he brought me into the inner court of Jehovah's house; and behold, at the door of the temple of Jehovah, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of Jehovah, and their faces toward the east; and they were worshipping the sun toward the east. 17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. 18 Therefore will I also deal in wrath; mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.) (The abominations in the apostate Church is bringing this judgment.) The scene then changed and I was hearing news reports and seeing newspaper articles and reporters who were announcing deaths all over the country; in both rural and metropolitan areas. The reports were about water supplies and water systems being poisoned in various places around the country. (We've had dreams and revelations about this too. The military is warning not to drink municipal water.) I saw headlines suggesting entire communities were poisoned in various places throughout the country. …The reporters were telling people to drink nothing but bottled water and/or water they knew was not connected to a local water supply. They were saying if you've got a well you should be okay but still you might want to boil it. This poison was affecting both larger and smaller communities but not every community. So this was not a nationwide thing, but it was impacting a lot of communities. It was impacting the Western portion of the country more than the other parts of the nation according to the reporters. They were announcing that there were National Guard units, fully armed, who are now watching water supplies in some of the bigger cities and parts of the nation. It was reported that thousands of people had died and that hospitals were full of heavily poisoned people getting medical treatment. FEMA centers and camps were being set up in those regions where people had been the most heavily poisoned and the water supply damaged. The Emergency Broadcast announcement that was running along the bottom of the TV screens and monitors stated that the boiling of water was not an effective way of making the water safe. (All this could be a distraction to our military to keep them from stopping the invasion across the border.) I then saw the clock tower appear above that municipal water supply and its hands pointed to 4:05 in the afternoon, once again this was occurring in broad daylight. (So we're definitely seeing some type of a literal attack but this could be a spiritual attack in the sense of what's going on with the deceptions in the Media; not knowing what's happening; not knowing what we're “drinking”, so to speak. … The time 4:05 indicates the idea that there's a countdown. First, the soldiers take off and now we're seeing the poisoning of the water supply. …Spiritually speaking, this represents being careful what we drink; being careful what we put into our body, being careful what we listen to; making sure that we test every spirit and listen carefully for the Word of God to …discern those things that are going on in our world and also that we're cautious and careful what we are consuming. …After I had the 18 days of dreams, I had two … short dreams; one where I saw some people watching TV monitors at airports and in homes and they were covering their mouths. It was like what they were seeing on the TV was so terrifying, like a 911 event, that they covered their mouths and it was summertime because I saw the grass was brown from the heat. I saw on the screens of every TV in America people crying, embracing each other and they were seemingly in shock. So fear is going to be a big weapon the enemy uses against the people. I'm sure there'll be another pandemic that is going to be terrible; far terribly worse than the last one we've just had. In the dreams, the people who were watching the news weren't looking up and that's the key. I believe we cannot be afraid, as everybody else is, of what they're seeing and the things that are happening in America or around the world. We've got to be looking up. “look up for your redemption draws near.” If we're looking at the news and covering our mouth in horror, that means that we are not speaking because of fear and folks right now the Church needs to be fully aware of what's happening around us but not afraid …) Back to the dream … The next thing I saw was four lines of light that seemed to be coming up from the border all the way from Texas and California in broad daylight. (Representing that they were no longer attempting to hide their plans. This is a planned invasion over the border.) It seemed that many people were coming from the border but in a very organized way and they moved North, hundreds of miles… with lights bright enough to be seen from space. (As we said earlier, these lights could represent deception.) They all stopped moving at once and, when they did, smaller light trails from within the U.S. started moving towards the four big lines of light where the movement had stopped. (They're being joined by the CCP Chinese military advisors and sleeper cells. I remember George Washington's dream of the red light invasion from the East and how the angels had to come down and help the Americans who were almost overcome by it.) Then, suddenly, the smaller lights started attacking. (I could very much see this as being sleeper cells; (like leftist Anarchists, BLM, Antifa, and radical muslims) more people coming and the cells getting larger and larger. It was like watching moths drawn to a flame and the source lights kept getting bigger and bigger as the smaller lights came in.) … The source light kept getting bigger and bigger and then all four places flashed all at once and… everything went dark for a moment and then it pulsed almost like a slow light just going on and off. (This is what happened in the movie, “Red Dawn”. The Chinese invaders EMP'ed the Nation to take over.) Then it exploded and light was spread hundreds of miles from the source of that explosion. … Then I saw the clock tower again and it stood high above the ground and showed the time to be 4:10. I saw small embers of flames that were coming down around the clock but not catching the ground on fire although it looked like fire coming down. (Missy had a dream that may have showed the embers of fire coming down out of the sky but not catching anything on fire just like this portion of Dana's dream. Both of these dreams seem to show the embers as being spiritual, A fire from Heaven.) So these explosions of the lights were spreading out and the flames were going hundreds of miles beyond them. (This probably fear from the mainstream media.) (There seemed to be a lot of intimidation going on during this time. It seemed like a worldly attack and at the same time the trails seemed to represent inroads for the enemy, spiritually speaking. …Whatever these 4 light trails were, they were drawing other people into them. The light and explosion wanted to be seen. There was no hiding what was coming up that trail. These things were coming up clearly in the daylight.) … Now there was shock and awe for a while but there was also fear that was projected out by this explosion. (Once again, the clock tower at 4:10 represents we are counting towards the next event.) … Then there was sudden silence and it permeated the atmosphere. (Representing persecution of free speech or fear to speak out.) I saw the clock strike 4:15 and suddenly there was this alarm going off almost like a tornado siren. A long wail was … going across the entire nation. It wasn't just focused on one area, but … no one was hearing the alarm. (They were feeling alarmed which affected their ability to be rational.) People didn't seem to know what they heard. I could hear it in the dream but nobody else seemed to hear it. (So that silence was almost like people not knowing what was coming next, but that alarm was saying, “Hey there's something happening. Something's coming but there were still people covering their mouths and the explosions from the trail of whatever it was coming up from the from the border and then that sudden silence… and in the background, the wail of that siren.) Then the scene changed and I saw Churches of all shapes and sizes nationwide and they were surrounded by mobs of people screaming. They had placards and signs. ( This was more than just about the overturn of Roe V. Wade, this was more than just about Liberal agendas or drag queens talking to kids in libraries. These people were chanting hostile threats that they were going to burn the Churches down. (All of the anarchist, leftist groups taking this opportunity to bring down their enemies, the Christians.) They were going to kill the Christians. These were not idle threats.) They were saying, “We are going to kill you! We're going to burn your Church! We're going to do this or do that!” (This is one way D.S. Babylon destroyed the apostate people of God. And God's plan is to deliver His people from Babylonish religion so they may follow the Man-child reformers into the wilderness tribulation. Will it take burning some churches to accomplish this? Will it not scatter the people, hopefully to seek truth?) … They were all about 150 feet away and some maintained a distance. There was a bit of considerable difference between the protesters and the people yelling and screaming. Inside those Churches I could hear people leading others in prayer. But no one was praying very much out loud. There was no power, or authority in their prayers; it was just things like, “Oh God, you've got to help us. Oh God, can you save us? Oh God, look out there!” People in the Churches were looking out the windows and they were reporting, “Hey, the crowd's getting bigger! There's more people out there!” and yet at the same time nobody inside of the prayer circles were stepping up the prayer and being aggressive with it. (They have not been taught to pray with the authority of the promises of God. They are not used to getting answers to prayer either. This is why God wants the elect to "come out from among them” and seek true faith.) Suddenly, I saw five different churches: One in the Midwest, two in the Northeast, one in the Southeast and one in the Northwest. I saw one Church in each of those areas. (5 is the number of grace. It appears that some churches will find grace to escape.) Arrows were being fired into the crowd from the roof of those Churches with bow and arrows and each of the arrows scattered the hostile crowds. (Is this the way part of this attack can be annulled or is there more in this warning dream to be annulled?) They hit the pavement and they scattered the protesters and they began to flee. As I watched the people scrambling, I noticed the Archer on each of those five churches appeared to be the very same man firing those arrows from all five locations simultaneously with precision and care. (This one man is Jesus manifested in a corporate body of Man-child reformers who will defend what should be defended. In Esther, Mordecai meaning, “little man or man-child” was given authority over Haman and his army of haters of God's people, which turned the tide against them to save God's people. This is our Purim, our Passover.) These arrows were against the words of attack… (Luk 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions,(These are different legions of demons.) and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. 20 Nevertheless in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in Heaven.) Then I realized that the alarm had been going off this whole time but the people in the Churches had been so concerned about the crowd they weren't hearing the alarm. (The alarm going off is the prophetic warnings of all these things that are being ignored by the apostate churches who no longer believe in prophetic warnings.) Now I had been seeing that clock tower this entire time and it finally stopped as the Archer started walking towards me. It was the man that I've previously seen in my dreams with a quiver full of sheer white arrows. (Representing the pure words of authority against the principalities and powers and rulers of this darkness.) They glowed even though it was the middle of the afternoon, and each of these arrows had an extremely sharp point. … They were just really really cool and ornate. … He then pulled, from over his back, this very large longbow (made for long distance warfare) and when he put it down in front of him, the bottom touched the ground and the top was about head high. Then the alarm stopped. (The Church had no authority in prayer or spiritual warfare but the Man-child types throughout history have had.) … The man stood silent for a few moments; He surveyed the area, but then he turned and was watching around the church areas and He said, “There must be precision in your prayers from this point forward; absolute precision, to counter the noise and the violence that will be aimed at the Body.”... (We are to cast down the demons of anarchy, hatred, slander, railing, perversion, antichrist, etc. who are in control of these attackers.) …Then He said, “The Church must remember, “it's not by might nor by power but by My Spirit” that will help you walk straight through the battle.” (This thing is spiritual that we are fighting. “we wrestle not against flesh and blood.” It's not the White House or Congress that we're fighting, it is spiritual things in darkness that have invaded this country and have deluded the minds of those around us.) Then He said, “There must be precision and power in your prayers. The war has arrived and those awake are on the front lines now and you will never be able to get away or withdraw from that line.” …Then He said, “This absolute precision is required in your prayers.” The Lord just said, “It's not going to stop. It's going to get worse and worse and worse.” We've got to continue to stand and hold our ground and occupy until He comes.) (Think how bad it could get if we don't exercise authority over the demons.) After saying this, He took a defensive position and quickly put an arrow into the bow and shot straight up in the air and just kept looking in that direction. He wasn't looking around at the crowd or the people near the Churches. He just shot it straight up in the air and that arrow never came back down. I found myself kind of watching and waiting for it to come back down but it never did. (The warfare of Jesus in His people who have born fruit is against the principalities and powers in the second heaven and beyond that, in the third heaven their prayers go to the throne.) He kept looking into the air where He shot it and He never looked back at me. (The Bible says that His Word will not return void. I promise you our prayers will not either. … Our eyes need to be on Him and never leaving that front line; never being distracted by the noise and the violence. (We have to do more than pray to God. We have to exercise authority for Him. All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Jesus. Then He delegated that authority to us. What we bind on earth is bound in heaven and what we loose on earth is loosed in Heaven. Jesus said, “As the Father sent me, so send I you.” I repeat, Luk. 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. Notice: We have been given authority over ALL the power of the enemy. We have authority to bind the enemy's power. The disciples, when they were delegated authority did not go back and ask Jesus to do what they were told to do. Try this with your earthly boss and see if you don't get fired. The disciples commanded healing and demons and the curse and so on. They didn't go and ask Jesus to do this. So it is with us. There is a time to pray and a time to act as Jesus demonstrated. The one man on top of the building had more authority than the whole church full of people and so it should be with Jesus in us. Our good confession is in Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me. God's plan was always for Jesus to be Emanuel, "God with us". Jesus in His corporate Body would do the same thing He did in His first Body. And He will do it in all those who believe.) He shot that arrow straight up into heaven and, looking up, He was demonstrating to us how we do warfare. We keep our eyes on Him. Our hands and our fingers have been prepared for battle and through this spiritual war, God is working. (Notice the authority of those who believe God's Word in this text. Psa. 18:31-40 For who is God, save Jehovah? And who is a rock, besides our God, 32 The God that girdeth me with strength, And maketh my way perfect? 33 He maketh my feet like hinds feet : And setteth me upon my high places. 34 He teacheth my hands to war; So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass. 35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation; And thy right hand hath holden me up, And thy gentleness hath made me great. 36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, And my feet have not slipped. 37 I will pursue mine enemies, and overtake them; Neither will I turn again till they are consumed. 38 I will smite them through, so that they shall not be able to rise: They shall fall under my feet. 39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. 40 Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me, That I might cut off them that hate me.) God's calling the Church to pray like it's never prayed before: With passion, courage, intensity, fire, fervor, urgency, and with precision. … He said, “Remember to be precise, as it matters more than ever now.”…Our prayers will not return void. In 2 Ki 6:15-17 it says, When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold an army with horses and chariots was all around the city and the servant said, “alas my master, what shall we do?” and he said, “do not be afraid for those who are with us are more than those who are with them” and then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord please open his eyes that he may see. So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man and he saw and behold the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around. … Crisis! America at War! Handmaid of the Most High - 4/24/23 (David's notes in red) Matthew 24:6 (KJV) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. While talking on the telephone on 4/21/23, I had a flash vision. I saw a newspaper and the front page was captioned with two different captions (This represents two factions or Civil War) … It was not like a typical [type] set-up with one headline across the top half. Instead, the newspaper was divided in half because each part was so critical. On left side it said “Crisis“. The other caption began in the center and said “America at War“. I was aware that America had been attacked and was now fighting the war on American soil. This confirms many of my early posts on this site … The Lord has given us plenty of warning so we must make ourselves spiritually ready for what will follow. The Battle Rages Julie Daughter of the King - April 13, 2023 (This message was in response to me asking Yahushua why His remnant is still under such attack by evil forces. (This includes myself almost nightly). I was praying for more understanding as to why it is so relentless. These are the words He spoke to me after communion [with Him] on April 13, 2023.) “Oh My child, peace, be still. Be still and know that I AM is here and with you. I realize how difficult it is for you to understand the reasons behind all this evil, and why I am allowing it to continue. The battle is raging, yes. It is an epic battle unlike any other in your history. There has never been such a frenzy by satan and his dark kingdom as what is being experienced now. (The prince of the power of the air is fighting as the dragon in Rev. 12, to keep from being cast down to the earth.) Think of it this way. If you were given an assignment that meant life or death, and a period of time to complete it, and the deadline was closing in, would you not stop everything else as the deadline was rapidly approaching, even at the door? Would not satan do the same, knowing the end is here, putting all his resources into completing what he believes he must do, to kill and destroy as many souls as possible, as he also knows that I am here now in My people and about to be fully manifested through them. He knows the time for My great move is upon you and he is desperate to destroy as many souls as possible before that moment. You, as My remnant army, however, cannot be harmed. I walk at your right side with you, and the battle is Mine, not yours. I go before you, and I am your Rear Guard. I have insulated you with My presence, and you are under My anointing, and although you walk through the darkest part of the storm yet, thousands are come against you and you will not be touched. Remember your positions in My Kingdom. As heirs to My Throne, you are already seated in Heavenly places with Me. You are My untouchable, unstoppable ones, the ones I have chosen from before time to be here now because of your obedience and faith in Me. Each time the enemy comes against you, you have an opportunity to increase in your faith and walk in the power and authority you have been given from Me. Do not forget who you are and why you have come. You are here to stand, when all you can do is stand, and hold the line, anchoring My love here until the moment I fully manifest through all of you. Having been chosen as heirs, My kings and My priests to rule and reign here is a weighty matter indeed, yes, a very serious position to hold. But, I knew of your obedience and allegiance to Me and sent you knowing I would have the victory for you and that you would learn to master what I have taught you in order to walk out your assignments here. So, each time you encounter evil, see it as an opportunity to apply what you have learned, to over-come, knowing you could and will not ever lose. I give you My strength to walk this out, and My peace, a peace that cannot be found outside of Me, a peace that will allow you to see what I am speaking about from My perspective. It is then that as you respond, you will not be wearied by all the attacks, but rather stand up in your position and wield My sword of the Spirit, My Word, as you work together to hold the line here in this realm, consistently and with boldness and courage, as I have told you to not fear or be afraid of anything the enemy can send your way. I am here My army, as the Commander and Captain of the Hosts. Be still and know that I Am has you in the palm of My hand.” YAHUSHUA God Uses the DS Beast to Bring Down Factious and Apostates Morning Verses Over the Past Two Weeks by Faith at Random Psa 9:3 When mine enemies turn back, They stumble and perish at thy presence. 4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; Thou sittest

Message for 4/23/2023 "Confidence" by Justin McTeer. *All verses are NLT unless otherwise noted* Galatians 5:1 - So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law. Romans 15:13 - I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Confident in God Confident in “You” Confident in the Future Confident in God Exodus 32:1 - When the people saw how long it was taking Moses to come back down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron. “Come on,” they said, “make us some gods who can lead us. We don't know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt.” Exodus 16:1-3 - Then the whole community of Israel set out from Elim and journeyed into the wilderness of Sin, between Elim and Mount Sinai. They arrived there on the fifteenth day of the second month, one month after leaving the land of Egypt. 2 There, too, the whole community of Israel complained about Moses and Aaron. 3 “If only the Lord had killed us back in Egypt,” they moaned. “There we sat around pots filled with meat and ate all the bread we wanted. But now you have brought us into this wilderness to starve us all to death.” Numbers 20:2-5 - There was no water for the people to drink at that place, so they rebelled against Moses and Aaron. 3 The people blamed Moses and said, “If only we had died in the Lord's presence with our brothers! 4 Why have you brought the congregation of the Lord's people into this wilderness to die, along with all our livestock? 5 Why did you make us leave Egypt and bring us here to this terrible place? This land has no grain, no figs, no grapes, no pomegranates, and no water to drink!” Mark 9:20-27 - So they brought the boy. But when the evil spirit saw Jesus, it threw the child into a violent convulsion, and he fell to the ground, writhing and foaming at the mouth. 21 “How long has this been happening?” Jesus asked the boy's father. He replied, “Since he was a little boy. 22 The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.” 23 “What do you mean, ‘If I can'?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” 24 The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” 25 When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, he rebuked the evil spirit. “Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak,” he said. “I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!” 26 Then the spirit screamed and threw the boy into another violent convulsion and left him. The boy appeared to be dead. A murmur ran through the crowd as people said, “He's dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and helped him to his feet, and he stood up. 1 John 1:9 - But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. Confident in "You" Numbers 13:25-33 - After exploring the land for forty days, the men returned 26 to Moses, Aaron, and the whole community of Israel at Kadesh in the wilderness of Paran. They reported to the whole community what they had seen and showed them the fruit they had taken from the land. 27 This was their report to Moses: “We entered the land you sent us to explore, and it is indeed a bountiful country—a land flowing with milk and honey. Here is the kind of fruit it produces. 28 But the people living there are powerful, and their towns are large and fortified. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak! 29 The Amalekites live in the Negev, and the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country. The Canaanites live along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea[a] and along the Jordan Valley.” 30 But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. “Let's go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!” 31 But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We can't go up against them! They are stronger than we are!” 32 So they spread this bad report about the land among the Israelites: “The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. 33 We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that's what they thought, too!” 1 Samuel 17:41-47 - Goliath walked out toward David with his shield bearer ahead of him, 42 sneering in contempt at this ruddy-faced boy. 43 “Am I a dog,” he roared at David, “that you come at me with a stick?” And he cursed David by the names of his gods. 44 “Come over here, and I'll give your flesh to the birds and wild animals!” Goliath yelled. 45 David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven's Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! 47 And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord's battle, and he will give you to us!” 1 Corinthians 12:27 - All of you together are Christ's body, and each of you is a part of it. Ephesians 3:20 - Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Confident in the Future Jeremiah 29:10-11 - This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Romans 8:28 - And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Revelation 22:1-5 - Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations. 3 No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. 4 And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. 5 And there will be no night there—no need for lamps or sun—for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.
